interloper level5 encounter?
After messing around with the "INTERLOPE"
and "get s.interlope.pull:27015" commands,
I found something weird.
Is this a level 5? Was that the umbrella man?
I'm not really experienced with this stuff so if you could leave a comment helping me understand this interloper stuff that would be helpful :)

This is well made! Its missing that telltale camera jittering from an anomi type 5, but otherwise seems like something that could actually fit in the arg. I got tense every time the character approaced a dark corner. 😂

this is obviously not a type 5 demo or even a demo generated by the interlope command, you can notice it by the movement, the movement doesnt match with the regular type 5 demo movement and screen moving and looking, and it doesnt even have hands in it,

I like to think he generated Misty right after. Misty was generated in the same title screen as this, the one of the Citadel elevator shaft. Yeah yeah, I know it's near impossible to generate to Type5s in a row, and Misty was generated like 18 years ago and this one was 5 months ago, but still

I’d imagine that level six would be the „POV“ entity interacting with the game‘s interface- like chat or a pause menu - since each level seems to be the amount of intelligence to POV entity has.

@@nathanthecanadian9444how do we know it was an umbrella man? They can seemingly kill or capture a dmnpc via other means than just appearing (I can't make out the creature at the end
@@the05council61 That's my point, typically Type 5 demos will feature an appearance by the umbrella man (correct me if I'm wrong), in which, the twinkling sound effect use will always play before the umbrella man makes himself known in said demos. The absence of a jingle here makes this an anomaly among other type 5 demos, as an entity other than the umbrella man seems to be present here.

not all of them, because in the fortress type5 demo, it didnt have the umbrella man in it

This isn’t anomidae, this is a fan animation. Anomidae stated that he makes them in Source Filmmaker, using a VR headset and an application called “Motion Capture VR” which can be found on steam. As for creating demo files, just export the animation and play it on a model in a map, then record a demo of you playing the animation in the map.

A type 5 recording? It is done in source film maker, other demos are probably pre recorded and spliced in so it looks like the interlope commant generated them

@@emmtoblogparr4804 the 2 demos from the original series? They were exported animations from sfm and are replayed in game as part of the demo. That is why a seperate map that stores all demo specific models is required and why the downloaded demos look differant than the initial ones from interloper 1
