One of the few recent etudes that really uses the entire piano and actually sounds lik both hands . Godowsky amazes me . Why didn't he record some of the studies for posterity his brst recordings unbelievable tone and voicing are his Schubert pastiches . Hofmann told Abram Chasins to never forget that sound and we all know Hofmann 's recorded legacy is unimaginably imaginative and full of daredevilry we will never hear the likes of again ! Thankyou for our unforgttable playing of this great piano work . I wonder Corigliano has given us a emarkable violin concertante work . There must be a piano concerto - but I dont remember it like I always remember this piece !
