This is a time lapse video for an event Dyventive constructed for a client. Once the stage is set up - all the sports imagery is holographic video. The basketballs, the hoops and the banners all did not exist on site live but it appears to the audience that they are there. pepper's ghost effect, projection of images of objects against black background onto transparent yet reflective surface gives illusion of objects existing within the bi-refringent plane.
I would really like to see this technology at the Disney parks, in the haunted Mansion attractions!! it would be awesome. :-)
Disney came up with the concept and use it religiously. :)
