That's a great buck partner! Well done. I really enjoy your tractor videos, and it was great to see you get an animal this fall.
@duncanelizabethandvictoria6916 thank you for your support. Lots more tractor videos coming up this spring
This is a cool video and all. But can someone please tell me what exactly it is that's happening. It's probably very obvious &I'm usually on point. But I'm out of the loop on this one guys- - - -So I'm calling in a lifeline. Ring Ring ..I need your help all of you RUclips people. Thanks
@@JoshuaTrainKing Just some clips from us duck and deer hunting
When ur ready to go that seems to be the only one around 😂

Ngl that's small😤😮💨
We don't get very many "huge" bucks around. This is an older buck that is only a 6 point and will probably only ever be that.
@southeastoutdoors1586 yes we are luck and have a lot of Land not trying to hate on u tho
@Hunter4life09 we have a decent amount of land. It's just that everyone that butt's up to us don't try and let them grow. It's like that all over the whole county
@Hunter4life09 i didn't take your comment as hate. I know he's not that big but like I say there's no giants left around here
Oh my gosh that is so scary😮😮😢
Very strange for sure
Great walkaround, thanks for the video. Are you still happy with the machine?
@duncanelizabethandvictoria6916 thank you for watching. So far I am, but to be honest I haven't been very rough with it yet

@CentralMississippiWhitetail yes they are. This was her First shot, no practice, target, or anything.
Nice! I tell folks study the word and walk through life looking for reasons to believe, vs looking for reasons not to believe. This helps my life approach
@CentralMississippiWhitetail that's a fantastic way to put it. Love that
Good stuff man
What and when y’all planting
@trellbradley4506 iron clay peas for now. Broadcast some better fall greens around mid September. Peas are looking really good now
@@southeastoutdoors1586 10-4 I’m going to plant some more peas mid September to depending on the weather, with some wheat and oats, looking for a good clover to add to
@trellbradley4506 not sure if it's available where you're at but southland wildlife seed has a 6 way blend of clover, and that's what I'm using at my other place
@@southeastoutdoors1586 it is I’ll have to go to orangeburg to get it I’m in summerton sc

6-24-24 or something like 3-14-42 will work well for beans. Also Milogranite, which is 6-4-0 after sprouting will keep deer off of them. After every couple of rains reapply Milogranite to continue to keep deer out of them. Fertilize while also saving the stand until you are ready is a win-win. It’s also fine to put Milogranite on anything else that you want to keep deer off of until you are ready to hunt.
Thanks for the tip
Milorganite…I spelled it wrong
Invest in an under water camera
I had my go-pro, just didn't think of putting it underwater until after we left 🤦🏽♂️
How’s the seeder holding up? Is it a good seeder? Would you buy it again?
Seeder is a friend of mine but is holding up great. He washes it out after every uses and applies salt away to both boxes to try and prevent rust. And yes if i would buy again, does great job, and holding up great. My apologies on the late response.
Nasty!
Check out alyce clover and American joint vetch for small shaded food plots in the southeast
How did the food plots turned out
Not quite as good as we had hoped, but definitely still worth planting in my opinion. I'm a little behind on posting videos. Will try and head out there and give an update soon. Thank you for watching
@@southeastoutdoors1586 no problem thanks for the content
What part of SC? Low country? I'm in Orangeburg. You lived and fertilized the same time? How's it looking now? I'm planting tomorrow if seeds come in today. Enjoyed the video. Good Luck this season.
We're in Hampton. Plan on making an update video on the fall plots this weekend. The grain drill has a front and back box. Big seeds would go in the front box and fert in the other. This time being the seeds were so much smaller we had to put them in the back box. Thank you for watching. Good luck to you too
That 5 way blend is good stuff in the south! Planting some next week myself.

I've got the no til model. I kept having stop ups. Replace the hoses with smooth clear for the first 6 inches and it greatly reduce the stop ups
Thanks for the tip. We'll definitely keep that in mind
Your low germination rate is likely to do with low sunlight and low soil ph. You’ll be better off soil sampling before next year’s summer plots but for fall is get you a bunch of oats, winter rye and white clover because they’ll tolerate some shade. At planting add in some 10-10-10 and pray for rain! Lime will be your friend for next year. And no tilling will help in sandy soil also.
Appreciate the tips. We put out 10-10-10 and lime this time but I agree a soil sample would be beneficial
Starting to look good 👍
Good Job 👍
I used my seeder to plant barley had the same trouble finding the correct depth and population it did pop up after 10 days of wondering lol
Love to see that y’all are putting work in on yalls property for wildlife. I know ppl on RUclips love to critique others but I only wanna see y’all succeed in ur food plot efforts. You have way too much shade, you really need to chainsaw those trees away from the road to get sunlight to the ground. Look at the ground ur planting into.. it’s mostly leaf litter and not a single blade of grass to be seen. If native ground cover can’t grow there than I’m afraid ur food plot won’t either. Get u some chainsaws and start cutting men! It’s all about getting sunlight to the ground
I 100% agree, we need to let more sunlight in. Unfortunately we've done all we can because of the lease agreement. Off camera I told my partner that we maybe able to get away with some good trimming in the fall/winter when it's all dormant, that way they might not notice a good cut back. Leases are scarce where we are so we have to be careful
Keep up the videos nice FoodPlots
Thank you
Lookin good 👍
We're hoping it'll all work out. First time we've done one. Plan on putting out some turnips early season
Great job Keep up the good work
Where y’all from
Hampton County, South Carolina
I’m from summerton sc
Y’all should have some nice deer down there
@@trellbradley4506 there are some nice one's in the county for sure. Hopefully this will bring them on over to us. Don't think any neighboring properties have any plots
Definitely update us on the plots. Be curious how that summer mix comes up in the shady areas like that. Did y’all do a soil sample or just fertilize heavy?
Just posted an update. No soil samples, just fertilized heavy.
