my Roomba discovery does the same thing, only a worse noise. you can fix it by replacing the brush rolls

This was when I first got it and it had a bad battery.

Yes, he has taken a lot of wear and tear. I think it might be remanufactured, since it has the voice and doesn't have the demo.

Yes, it still works great, I had to replace the battery once, but it's still going strong!

Press spot + clean while it’s on the dock. Some models are bugged, so it’ll back out and dock again.
I've heard about that glitch. Some models have newer software, so it doesn't work. I think I've tried it on mine a few times.
