BRAND NEW - Schindler 5000 Lifts at One Holland Village (Lobby B)
Просмотров 19210 месяцев назад
Wishing everyone a Happy New Year!!! These are some really awesome new Schindler 5000s located in a spanking new mixed used development/ shopping mall. While the Schindler 5000 lift models are still very common in a country like SG, the black Linea style indicators are certainly uncommon and rarely used in local 5500s installation, so it's nice to see them in a new installation like this. There...

Welcome to a new series called "Before and After"! This new series will be mainly focusing on comparing elevators before and after a upgrade, whether or not it's a minor refurbishment or major replacement, almost all form of this upgrades alter the pre - existing lifts, hence the need for a close - up comparison :) Hope y'all will like it! 1999/2000s Kone Delta elevator - 27 Seah Street
Просмотров 196Год назад
Another black button Kone delta has been found, though not rare they are pretty uncommon to come about these days... Sadly this one that I found seems to be in poor condition, with a rough ride quality and worn out cabs,it won't be surprising if 9G mods it in a few years given they hold a contract to this lift... Thanks for watching :))
Problems encounterd - 1986 Mitsubishi elevator at Grid Mall
Просмотров 2802 года назад
This was filmed abt a week ago.... although the problem has since been fixed, this is a reminder that this lift could go anytime soon,as Mitsubishi probably doesn't hold a contract to the lift anymore,so if Otis can't find parts to fix it,it would practically be over...so with that said so those of u who wanna experience it,visit it before it's too late ;) Thanks for watching!
Telescoping doors! Authentic 90s Hitachi elevator at 28 Roberts Lane
Просмотров 3872 года назад
While we were exploring the shop houses along the Roberts Lane,we happened to stumble across a rare and pretty authentic 90s Hitachi elevator with a telescoping door configuration! The combination I would say is pretty decent, with the typical Hitachi's 90s style button configuration, large overhead indicatos and some very soothing ding dong chimes! In motion it's probably also one of the best Hi...

Farewell Ride - 1999 Mitsubishi elevators at Blk 256 Serangoon Central
Просмотров 6812 года назад
While these Mitsubishis r only barely 2 decades old...it seems like the town council sees a necessity to completely replace all Mitsubishis from of Blk 255 to 258... While Fujitec may be from Japan, they certainly fall short in terms of quality as compared to Mitsubishi which is also from Japan. Thanks for watching :) (Final Backlog uploads): 2/5

Farewell Ride! There goes one of the last Express Lifts in an HDB commercial blk
Просмотров 5672 года назад
Filmed on the 23 October 2022,just 2 days before the impending shutdown of the big size Express Lift at Blk 267 Serangoon Central... While the Express Lift is in pretty poor condition and probably in need of a replacement,it's still kinda sad that the MPGRC is not only targeting Express Lifts, but practically all installations from 90s regardless of brands....even the Mitsubishis in the cluster ...
Modernized Generic Hydraulic Lift - 1 Raffles Quay (Underpass linkway mall)
Просмотров 2352 года назад
Seems like just less than 15 yrs aft the 3 Gylet elevators were installed, they were modernized into some kind of unbranded generic brand. The mod is rather light, given the cabs, doors and even motor seem to have been untouched. Seems like only the logics were replaced during the mod. Perhaps the previous Gylet elevators were giving logic problems? Only time will tell if these mods r reliable or...

Basically like EM LIFTS, my house got 1 main lift that is uhh.
very typical of marine parade tc ig they're pretty fast to replace every 90s lift possible
They should just separate passenger elevator 3 and service elevator 4 so that everyone knows that it’s a service elevator but too bad it’s too late.
G in the word 9G might stand for Generic/Garbage.
W0W
still here as of sep 2024
apparently there’s vertical door lifts here
Getting replaced by Schindler 5000 soon.... :(
Heh, the passenger lifts are not any better. I got stuck in one of them and the doors couldnt open. Stupid low quality chinese thing.
Wow that's unfortunate, what's rlly funny is that the previous Fujitecs lifts before replacement were really high - quality stuff, then when Otis replaced them the quality just dropped...btw how long were u stuck in there?
@@_En1664 not for too long but it traumatized me as I was very young
Toshiba CV40!
yes! but the furniture store that used to occupy this bldg is now closed :( hopefully it isn't the end for this building
I filmed a 2nd and final retake + close up view of the indicator.
Nice
Both lifts are ruined by Printec now. Passenger lift replaced in 2023, cargo lift modded this year.
Lift might be gone, no pto and 9G maintaining
At first I thought this was gonna be your final video
Hahahah Ig the title was a lil dramatic lol
Despite the modernisation being good, it is still going to get replaced by none other than that stupid EM garbage.
我最喜欢的动画片主角徐欢欢的Mito Z2就是这个铃声XD PS:Mito是一个超冷门的印度尼西亚手机品牌🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Not 5000 meh?
Ooh my bad! Thought they looked like 5500 but aft checking the Schindler SG website it seems like they don't install 5500s anymore...so ya thanks!
Confirmed to be a 5000. A friend of mine checked the controller and it is a Scalable.
WHY WOULD THAT STUPID 9G MORDENISE THE BEAUTIFUL MITSUBISHI ELEVATOR
Better thank Monarch Control (Inovance) for creating one of the best controllers any Chinese generic lift can use, although when integrating this controller to older lifts they do it like a slap on so no surprise if they fall apart quite quickly... Would prefer if the original manufacturer comes back and modernises the lift, but that is not always possible.
Sounds like OnePlus spring alarm tone
Yongyang did it, they maintain these hydraulics now
That’s the rarest I’ve seen
KSS520 MX10?
Now under replacement
Yup thanks for the update, saw ur story too and was rlly quite sad to see it like that...well ig nothing lasts forever,at least there r still 1 or 2 footages of this lift online. Btw r they replacing it? Seems like the car cabs r missing..
@@_En1664 yes
@@LiftyGamez oof then that's rlly unfortunate, didn't expect them to completely rip out smth still working well

Nice video. To be honest, I prefer the unrefurbished lift more. Also suggestion to go to 712 ang mo kio; there's a 1979 fujitec there; the last vintage hdb lift remaining
Thanks for ur comment! and yes,the unrefurbished ones r definitely prefered given their efficiency and classicness,I've also visited 712 amk before though I nvr rlly filmed it,will do next time, thanks for ur suggestion :)
In Japan, a passenger elevator like this (the capacity and configuration) are common in high rise office buildings
Idk which ones are mods out of these. Quite early for the lifts to be modded
The 2 sets of elescoping doors Schindlers were refurbishments, while the regular size elevators were add on's...no mods so far
At least AMK Mitsubishi still no sign of replacement yet
AMK seems like the only town that still has majority of its pre lip lifts still arnd
Try this
Modernisation just reminds me of so many NUS lifts... Would appreciate OEM to come and do mod/replacement, nah they got OTIS to murder all of them!
Well Otises quality these days r pretty questionable tbh
Otis modernise Otis, we’ll probably can close one eye. Otis modernise non-Otis, confirm I will vomit. No surprise if they break down so bad they get another round of mods (or replacement).
@@ZHD1987E yup agreed, somethings r bttr to be left alone...a great eg. Of a horrible replacement OTIS did is to the lifts at Tiong Bahru Plaza, look at how I almost got stuck in the fire lift a few yrs back, shows their poor quality 💩,imo no well made lift would suddenly emergency brake, prob hinting a major underlying issue depsite it's young age
I'm Almost stuck in 4/3/2022 elevator in Portugal
Oof,what happened?
The modernisation of the other lift is now complete. Some crap generic has ruined it with terrible looking fixtures unfortunately. And it still levels very slowly
Saw ur story abt 2days back, and honestly I doubt OTIS would have done any of a bttr job either given their quality these days,so either way it would be ruined somehow or rather
What happened to the lift
It seemed like it emergency broke when approaching the 4th floor, perhaps it was overspeed and the governor tripped causing the aftermath,we were lucky that we escaped safely.
Their hallway indicators are quite well-thought out because people know which lifts have arrived just by standing in the hallway.
Fully agreed, they give the people in the bldg a much easier time locating each lift, smart on their part tbh...and imagine if these had the call prediction feature, they would totally go head on head competition with the current destination dispatches
0:23 Again, I say shush the sheesh
What 🗿
Either Excelift or Elex (similar to Peninsula Excelsior).
Well can't be confirmed since many generics also use such indicators
@@_En1664 I guess...
Mod is done 2018 not 2020
Late 2019 actually...visited the place back then right after the mod was complete.
The sin Thai hin movement sounded like c751B lmao. The indicator started to burn out too unfortunately
Exactly lol...it sounded very scary though,as if it was over speeding and was gonna crash into the ground. Can't understand why vintage lifts that r well maintained always goes first while leaving such poor condition ones still arnd, bldg management obv has smth to do with it.
@@_En1664 no idea but sin Thai hin prev wasn't like this
@@TIB1106EProductions Maybe some internal system malfunctioned during that period of time...strange though, may have been a worn out motor
@@_En1664 idt it's the motor prob somewhere inside the shaft
Thought its because the lifts were refurbished instead of being modernized i.e. only the parts visible to the passengers e.g. the doors, call operating panel & cab interior, but not the motor, cables, pulleys etc. were replaced
U gave a very valid point! I'm thinking perhaps this wasn't a very heavy mod,so perhaps most of the internal parts u mentioned weren't replaced, which prob would explain the mismatch up
From the 12th or 14th term of hdb lift contracts
These are 2 and a half decades old alr lol Also theres no notices for Lift A to undergo replacement yet, probably to ensure Lift B runs well for a while first
Blk 257,258 havent started so ya
@@binxiantan39 wait...so the one in this vid is alrdy dead??
@@_En1664 idk for now , havent check since the new Fujitec started
Can you upload Block 256 Serangoon Central Fujitec elevator
Didn't film it lol...too busy :/
The Mitsubishis were made in Japan, the Fujitecs in China
Yes I'm aware that the latest hdbs models r from China, though Fujitec as a brand themselves r from Japan
Update: I just found out the China Fujitec brand to be called 'Huasheng Fujitec'
Completion year is 1997.
Oof thanks for the correction!
The LCD screen is just disappointing...Firstly, it is spelt as ´Centre´, not ´Center´, which is an eyesore to me. Secondly, it would be better if they added the date and time on the LCD.
Haha even I spelled it correctly...kinda embarrassing that they could make such a mistake and yup had they added the date and time the whole lcd would have looked way more professional than looking like a cheap PowerPoint presentation
They fixed it and also added the lift number to the LCDs. Honestly the mods are fine imo.
