Japanese players sleep on regular king size bed in luxury hotel training in comfort while international players sleep on kid's size paper box bed paid $1800 to their prime minister Abe's brother's paper (box) company. Japanese government also didn't provided TV and refrigerator per room in hot humid weather with AC remote in Japanese. Japanese government is also feeding international players with Fukushima radioactive food for safety marketing while Japanese players eat separate from the rest avoiding Fukushima food. IDF should been there with their radioactive detectors. Japan also didn't supply sufficient laundromat thus international players have to hand wash their cloth in sink. Japan should never allowed to have any international events in the future for disregard safety for international players. IOC members were bribed by Japanese government and recently Japanese hostess girl admitted that they entertained IOC members while in Japan.
It's Air Weave, good for back and really expensive. Winter Olympian Asada Mao made them famous years back when she travelled overseas with them in tow. Check them out.
You can see the other athletes' blogs shooting the Olympics villages and cafeteria, Japanese are there too. But you are intentionally humiliated Japan, so you don't want to know it. The mattress is expensive.
It's all about being able to clean and recycle easily due to the pandemic. Actually, I think you're lucky they didn't just stick you people in capsule hotels.
It makes sense that the harder grade is used for mid body as that can provide the best support to your back, compared to having a soft one under your head for comfort
I mean, I figured they are nice enough to even give them bedframe (even though it's not your common wooden/metal) ones. Wait till they find out Japanese sleeps on futon on the floor usually (I almost thought they will do that - for the 'full experience'.
Wow they are so disrecpectful, these athletes. First of all, they explain about it: it was their intention to use such materials in order for them to recycle it after the games and turn it to papers. So you see, they can still use it even after olympics! Unlike other nation who hosted previous olympics and wasted a lot of money. Ang secondly, considering the situation(pandemic) it was so costly to host such global event! Imagine, an everyday covid test for the 11,000 athletes was so heavy to shoulder. So sad for japan😢 japan doesn’t deserve this....
Sure, making beds that are recyclable is more important than providing the best service for athletes who flew half around the world to participate in the olympics. I'm sure you welcome your guests by letting them shit in a bucket cause it's 'eco friendly'
@@oh4835 oh come on, you didn’t even experience the tokyo olympics as an athlete! Many had said(athletes), that the tokyo olympics had the best foods catered to them everyday. An everyday covid test(imagine how costly was that for japan to shoulder!). You didn’nt even experience the bed itself, which they had said to be very comfy even if it was made of cardboard💁 the problem was, people were always complaining while they couldn’t even consider the current situation. Just be appreciative and thankful, that’s it.
@@sadisadi2075 Sure i get your point. What i don't understand is that japan could, and should've done better. The athletes have been training for years to prepare for the game, and has to stay on top shape. And Japan as the country for running this years game, has the obligation to make sure the player's are well maintained. And what do we get? Food shortage at the first week. Bathrooms were too small and house hold appliances like air conditioners are all written in japanese, which most of the players couldn't read. The facility of the olympic village was shitty, and because of quarantine they couldn't stay in a hotel or go outside to eat. Yeah they say the beds were comfortable, but not all of them. There's still complaints that aren't about the bed's material(durability, size etc)And i looked at the video and it seems the beds were designed without considering the player's height. Hotel beds have plenty of room while the cardboard ones seem to be half that size. And uh, appreciative? I don't think it's unappreciative if Japan's facility couldn't allow them to stay in peak condition.
@@oh4835 and don’t forget, the olympics was supposedly the year 2020 and was cancelled due to covid. Imagine that, the years of preparation was cancelled. It was very costly for japan that time. But they still pursued this year having the current situation.

Only Japan athletes don't stay at the village with small cardborad bed And they stay at the finest hotel To win a lot of gold medals.
I didn't know there was a competition for bed weight at the Tokyo Olympics.
