I love dystopian fiction, but this was seriously one of the worst books I've ever read. I finished it out of grim, stubborn determination, but it was torture towards the end. Some of the weirdest characters and interactions and dialogue I've ever witnessed. And yes, I understand the underlying themes and allegory.
