Nice video and wonderful explanation. The first time I bought Revell 1:570 Tirpitz was in Rio de Janeiro, May 1971, when I was 13 y.o. ! I still keep the kit among my collection ! Because I couldn't get vacations, my wife and my son went to Tromso. I recomeded visiting the Tirpitz Museum ! Thank you very much for the explanation.

Hallo Jan, wie ich sehe, hast du den Revellbausatz angefangen. Ich dachte, dass du „früher“ damit anfängst. Also habe ich ohne deine Hilfe 😀 angefangen und bin - bis auf die Türen - fertig. Es sind kleinere Nacharbeiten nötig, die Lenkung funktioniert auch nur die Türen -seufz- passen nicht. Mal sehen, ob ich die (geöffnet !) noch hinkriege. Gruß aus dem verregneten Schwabenland.

Very nice video, enjoyed the ride to Telford. I hope they have a show this year. I don't think we have anything on this level in the US? I may be wrong. The folks in the UK and EU really take their modeling seriously and it shows. Brilliant work!

Awesome. I couldn't get there that year. A mate was going to take five of my models down to display and idiot here had an accident and dropped the lot down the loft ladder. Only one is salvaged , and that still isn't finished and I wouldn't have bothered with that one if it wasn't an old and fairly rare kit as it was the most badly damaged.
