The Sabereebi Cave Monastery complex, Georgia.
A look at the dry lands in Georgia: The Kakheti region of Georgia is known for its diverse landscapes, including notable semi-desert areas. Two prominent locations within this category are Udabno and Vashlovani National Park.
ey Features
-Udabno: This area is characterized by its arid climate and unique geological formations. The landscape features vast plains and is often described as having a "radiant desert" quality, making it a striking contrast to the lush vineyards that Kakheti is famous for.
-Vashlovani National Park: Located in the southeastern part of Kakheti, Vashlovani is known for its badlands and semi-desert steppe vegetation. The park is home to diverse flora and fauna adapted ...

Went to Signagi twice and stayed two days each time. Awesome place but hard on the legs... steep hills to trap up and down. Going through that arc, we stayed at a B&B right at the entrance on the left. What a stunning B&B, had aircon, fresh fruit and honey every day. In that lil road we went to a restaurant that overlooked a basin as far as the eye can see, the view was mesmerising and the food was absolutely fantastic and cheap as well. T reid three types of Cha Cha there, whooo, treat with respect, that tractor fuel will slap you sideways. We miss Georgia and still have no clue why we were refused re entry when we went to tour Armenia. So sad, we miss it terribly.

Thank you for this information. Very interesting. I did not know that Georgia is generally considered the 'cradle of wine', as archaeologists have traced the world's first known wine creation back to the people of the South Caucasus in 6,000BC. These early Georgians discovered grape juice could be turned into wine by burying it underground for the winter.
