Despite how much I hate the ending they chose as much as the next fan, you all can’t deny the fact that seeing Asura losing his sh*t like that was both hilarious and totally meme worthy. Especially when he was just sitting still looking more like a three eyed frog than anything else. 😂
(And I do also have to admit seeing Asura getting his ugly three eyed face socked hard enough where it looked like it caved in was also a bit entertaining too).
There was actually a reason for that. When they caught up to the manga, the author went on hiatus and they had to produce episodes for a deadline, so I’m sure they’d follow the mangas story if this show gets the brotherhood treatment
Its not a wrorst ending but i dont like it the enemy suddenly become nerf i was hopping for the mc to get a sudden power up. I wached this anime a long time ago i like this anime execpt for the ending
I mean it makes sense but yeah they did dropped the ball could've thought of anything else but still to defeat fear u need to be brave it makes sense but still bad choice to go with
She embodies his antithesis and was exuding more bravery than madness. Telling someone who's afraid of everything "its alright" always sends them into a panicking downward spiral because they can't believe it. Don't forget she's the exorcist of the group and purified crona of madness ealier in the show. Sending asura into a meltdown of fear made it even easier for her to be braver because _she made it happen._ she runs with it seeing how freaked he's getting, how sloppy it makes him while still underestimating her.
Asura has a point insanity is part of human nature and some even argue that it's a normal survival defense mechanism.Besides madness cannot live without sanity just like good can't exist without evil. Yin and yang both correspond one cannot exist without the other.
sorry for those who like, but that's one of the worst's ending's in anime history. They coul'd just keep exactly like the manga, and it would have been great.
There's definitely worse, quit crying. Maka exuded more bravery than madness. That's all. she embodies bravery just as asura embodies madness. As an agent of madness/fear, asura wouldn't understand the concept of being brave, he chased power in hopes he'd be less afraid once he obtained it, but of course, more fears developed in pursuit of that power until he ended up a kishin. She's the exorcist of the group. It's why crona lost so much power, she was able to purify the madness from crona, and why black blood doesn't stay inside her. The couple of times it sticks around at all is because she's in resonance at the time. It's why asura started to fall apart after holding her too long. Her weapon/meister hybrid was eluded to earlier when stein mentioned he partnered up with her mother, and _stein_ is a known _meister._ Spirit also tells us he and her mother were partners before that, but we know he's a _weapon._ Can't entirely blame anyone for missing the mere two times they elude to her being meister/weapon hybrid prior to the reveal. Took me a couple of rewatches to catch it. Also... her bravery has been hinted at and building upon since the very beginning. Sorry but it's true.
It's an old comment but what ever. Maka's mother was a Meister, her father is a weapon. Basically what happend here is that after Maka went unconscious, her weapon power took over. It's like a inherent defense system. Her consciousness went out so her weapon instinct kicked in. It's like adrenaline shot, you've got a tunneled vishion, you're not fully aware of what's going on (might not even have memories of this moment) but your organism goes full on out to save itself. And since there is no running away from kishin it started fighting so violently. Why she waked up tho? She's still a human. Organism took so much pain it woke up her consciousness again to run - not fight to the death.
Her and spirit were partners and we know spirit is the weapon, thus establishing her mother was a meister. Thing is, Stein also mentions in the last few episodes prior to this that he partnered up with maka's mother as well--and we know he's a meister. I don't blame anyone for missing this, it took a couple rewatches before it dawned on me what he was really implying. That Maka's mother was a Meister and a Weapon and Maka inherited that.
makes no sense if BrAvErY is all it took to defeat him lol Blackstar was literally laughing in his face and was fearless. this is so stupid
This anime really fell off the deep end here lmao such a cool show became insanely corny
The way he says its just like madness is pretty tight, but ending kinda sucked

Crazy three eyed frog! Ribbit!
Personally I liked kishin
2:59 We the audience are with you there, Kishin
That weapon in his mouth is the same thing Elon Musk had on his bedside….isn’t that an ancient weapon, or something, from Ancient India?
Ye gods in Hindu mythology threw it to create a energy beam
After reading the manga, I gotta say this is the most disgusting change from the source material I've ever seen. This ending sucks.

Just like the audience who read the Manga the kishin had no idea wtf was going on 😂

Extremely, I still think it's a masterpiece even if the ending part sucked, all they needed to do was actually kill asura
