    This is frustrating. I was able to follow these shows for each week from 1950 to 1957, all in sequence. That process is not available for these. You aren’t even telling what the date was. In this case, we don’t even know the full name of one of the panelists. I’ll poke around for awhile, but may give up and listen to the original panel again.

    . Is it just me, or was the ship's Captain (the S.S. France) giving VERY misleading answers (17:14) ?? I kept waiting for the host to step in and correct or qualify what he said, and even though he did on a few of them, he REALLY seemed to just add to the confusion, leading to the whole thing going, as he himself said, "so far afield"..... .

    • @RonGerstein
      @RonGerstein 20 дней назад

      SS France had only one more full season, and then the shp was put in drydock.

    • @sdne1959
      @sdne1959 20 дней назад

      . Okay.........just watched this again, and seeing this the second time I think the Captain wasn't really giving as many misleading answers as I originally thought. I will say this though, this was probably always going to be one of those "Lines" you just know they NEVER were going to guess, especially given the VERY abbreviated 'window' they had to try and come up with it, given the fact it was (kinda) just 'jammed in' at the very end of this episode..... 🤔 .

    What's My Line is peculiar in the sense that it's a game show that received great tragedy. Dorothy Kilgallen and host Larry Blyden both died violent deaths in mysterious circumstances. It's called the What's My Line curse.
