"Rain or Shine" from Five Star's performance at "Wogan". I had to cut out that performance from another video, because it's not possible to upload any video of "Rain or Shine" during which Five Star mimes to the original studio track. In this video the performance only lasts a few seconds, which is all that is allowed.

I think this was an experiment back then, Deniece just trying something new, hoping to build up a new successful career that way, and after she did not succeed in doing so, she just dropped it and moved on. So I don't expect Deniece will ever record this.

Every member of Five Star had their own job within the Group, part of Lorraine's job was doing interviews at moments when only one or two members could be interviewed. But when Five Star was interviewed as a Group Deniece was also interviewed, as can be seen in the several interviews uploaded to this channel. All members of Five Star are easy to approach after a performance (and sometimes before a performance), just call their names when they are within hearing distance, and they usually will come to you for a brief chat and/or to pose with you for photos and/or give signatures. During the eighties it was even possible to have a talk with them on the phone! All you had to do then was phone their management, and ask if you could have a talk with one of the members of Five Star! Their relation with their fans always made Five Star unique.

We have all Music Videos of Five Star in HD quality, but the Music Videos of "Rock My World", "If I Say Yes" and "R.S.V.P." are blocked by RUclips for worldwide viewing due to copyright. Which makes it impossible for us to upload them. For some reason those Music Videos are also not on Five Star Vevo, and Five Star has been aware of this for many years, but for unknown reasons never took any action to change this. In several video medleys we've created and uploaded to this channel we have included as much of those three Music Videos as possible, which means if we would've used more those video medleys would have been blocked. So you could see big parts of those three videos in those medleys, which are called "The 5 Star Medley", "The 5 Star VideoMix" and "The Lost Medley". The Lost Medley mainly contains material of those three videos, so it's a good video to watch. All TV performances of Five Star in which they mime to the studio recording of "Rain Or Shine" are also blocked by RUclips for worldwide viewing, which means all 80s TV performances, because during the 80s Five Star never sung Live on TV. So we do have several TV performances of "Rain Or Shine", but are unable to upload those either.

In the future we will upload a full uncut unreleased concert of the Crunchie Tour of Five Star (audio only), which does have a very good audio quality, and has a running time of almost 90 minutes, but because we do have to make a picture video for that concert, which is a lot of work, we don't know yet when it will be uploaded.

We haved many TV performances of "Rain or Shine" from The UK and Dutch television, but all performances during which Five Star were miming to the Studio Recording of "Rain or Shine" automatically get blocked by RUclips for worldwide viewing due to copyright. During the eighties Five Star never sung Live during TV performances, so they were always miming to the studio recordings of their singles. That's why there are no TV performances of "Rain or Shine" from the eighties on RUclips. The official promo music videos of the singles "If I Say Yes", "Rock My World" and "R.S.V.P." are also blocked on RUclips for worldwide viewing due to copyright, but we've managed to include big parts of those three music videos in several music video compilations which we've uploaded to this channel. We will upload more videos of Five Star to this channel in the near future, and we will also upload a lot of solo videos of Doris Pearson and Deniece Pearson.

@@bryanalstoncoxing No, because except of the original TV production companies we are the only one who have those recordings. The official music video can be found on other channels, but the Live TV performances not. But there are recent performance videos of Five Star on RUclips, during which Five Star does sing "Rain or Shine" fully Live, most of those videos are recorded and uploaded by fans, but at this moment Five Star are not performing together anymore, so most of those performances are of Deniece performing with four other performers, or from a few performances Five Star did in the original line-up years ago at eighties events. So only original videos from the eighties during which Five Star mimed are blocked. There have been official DVDs of Five Star, which does include all RCA and Epic promo videos, so also "Rain or Shine", but they are difficult to find now. The DVD is called "Five Star - Performance" the CD - Set which also includes a DVD is called "Five Star - Luxury", you might be able to find those on eBay or Discogs. There are no Live performances and/or concerts of Five Star released on DVD and/or Blu-ray. So those two DVDs are the only official releases.
