I don't think a simple remaster will work. As somebody who has recently replayed these. I think it'll be more to the level of like the resident evil 2 remake. While it holds the heart of the game they made the new game from the ground up.

I wonder if they will be sold together as a collection.I think soul reaver can stand on its own as a remaster, but soul reaver 2 really needs a remake to be viable nowadays

Remasters would be great for running the series on modern hardware but probably nothing more than that. In order for this series to thrive it NEEDS remake or (less preffered) reboot to get at least a shot in making a comeback. If they won't make a blood omen remaster first the series is going to stay dead.

I can't see it happening, it feels like Deja vu all over again. The Legacy of Kain games got me through a difficult time in my life. If the same people behind Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered are doing it, I hope it does happens.

GamesCom is our only hope for an announcement at this point. I’ve heard of rumors about the series coming back years ago but it wasn’t until recently we actually got the leak about them. I’m hoping it’s true, I’m such a huge soul reaver fan.

One thing is for sure, we are about to get flooded with LoK lore videos. I will watch probably 95% of them.

This video just reminded me that I own Legacy of Kain Defiance, Soul Reaver, and Soul Reaver 2 on steam. My account says I bought them 17 years ago, but I haven't played them yet lol

I disagree with the motivations of Kain sentencing Raziel to his fate. I believe Kain had been searching for answers to his coin toss and discovered all the prophecies, although he didn't understand them, and when he saw Raziel's wings he knew that was his chance. Regardless we need the remasters on current gen. Pretty hyped due to the recent leaks.

I’m actually pretty mad cause I want these games on Xbox and remasters on Xbox. Same with final fantasy 7 PlayStation only. They left it open for a 6th game and it be cool to call it blood omen3 with kain continue his journey.
