Heat issue whike charging?
No heat issues while charging for me at all. Im very happy with this product.
Have you noticed the metal ring getting scratches? Does it show a lighter aluminum color underneath? Or still black where it scratches? Thanks!

Nice idea but still a fail. I just got 2 of the new ones and as soon as i started wireless charging it got so hot almost melted the charger the plastic literally started to warp on the charger. I told my friend i got the other 1 for to not use it and i told customer service they immediately refunded both orders didnt ask for them back. I wanted to love it too. It will be great still as long as you dont use wireless charging but thats a main feature yiur paying a premium for cause theres no way these things are really worth almost 50 bucks prolly cost 1 dollar in material to make

Well I shouldn't have to only use an official Samsung charger I know there's some poorly made Chargers out there but if it wasn't getting hot when it was plugged directly to the caseand now it's getting hot as an iron while plugged to the ohsnap 4 something is wrong I even tried putting the ohsnap directly on the phone and the same thing happens maybe a slower charger might work better all the ones I have are fast charging ones
@@SeriousASMRI used all MagSafe or MagSafe compatible chargers on my phone but those are the chargers that I always would use anyway. But what I’m hearing from you it sounds to me like you are either using a cheaper wireless charger or that your phones wireless charging coil wasn’t perfectly lined up with the oh snap. Because I have tried dozens of other chargers and have never had over heating issues. I have used regular wireless charges where you just place it on and it either didn’t work on that style of charger or it worked without it over heating. My battery health has been great with this product and I find that this is the best grip I have ever had for my phone. I’m sorry that wasn’t your experience but I do think that if you use this product two things I highly recommend. One make certain you have it perfectly lined up with the center of your phone where the wireless charger is and two use high quality not cheap wireless chargers.
Do not buy this if you have a Samsung phone with sPen. The magnets interfere with sPen use. The company will not refund money without customers dipping into their own pockets to pay for return shipping for a mistake they made. I would not recommend this product due to deceptive and dishonest company practices. It literally would have been as easy as a 2 second Google search to find out that magnets interfere with the use of sPen. Information that has been published 10+ years ago and now the customer has to pay for their mistake!!! What kind of company doesn't own up to its mistakes???

This is the oh snap 4 luxe. All of the oh snaps have been magnetic except the first one.
my adhesive stopped working and it would keep falling off the back of my phone. I tried washing it reapplying it, it would keep falling off. so I ended up peeling off their original adhesive, talking to customer service department and they sent me a replacement adhesive for the luxe 4. I applied it, it worked for 2 days, same stuff started happening so I applied super glue last night. I like the grip, I like the way it feels. I like how low profile it is, I do not like how it keeps disconnecting from the back of the phone because the adhesive sucks. and it wasn't just the first adhesive. It was also the replacement they sent. so here's to super glue... (adhesion was so bad it would fall off in the car while on the magnet stand. and no, I'm not using any material that they have listed as incompatible with their adhesive. they just have shitty adhesive)

Mine is just a generic clear case that matches my phones color on the sides of it. Nothing fancy.

If you want a thinner mount that is also magnetic then go with the ohsnap luxe of you don’t care about thinness and don’t mind removing the pop socket for wireless charging then go for that. I like both mounts and they are pretty much the same price.
I want to like this grip so much but I’ve been trying it out for a month and my wrists are just constantly aching. I love the thinness but it’s hard to get a secure grip without constant grip/tension. Idk, I’m unfortunately going to end up going back to my popsocket
Have you tried sticking your finger through the hinge? It’s not my preferred way but it would stop you from having it have tension on it. For me the standard hold is very comfortable.

Will the middle part or kickstand part magnetize to a regular magnetic mount without the full circumference of the magsafe magnets?
No those magnets in the middle are very small and they only work to suck the ohsnap back in place. You have to buy the ohsnap car mount of you want to use it in your car that way. I have one of those in my car and I love the mount it’s very high quality and I have no complaints. But it isn’t cheap.

Yes for sure always take care of the important stuff. They are talking. About releasing cheaper all plastic version of this grip so you might want to wait for that.

I’m going to guess that since you have only one subscriber that this is a fake scam account. And that you only joined RUclips two weeks ago.
I’ve only had mine for a few days and my only and main issue is the OhSnap not sticking to the DBrand ghost phone case. It’s fine until i try to remove the phone and the OhSnap from a MagSafe mount and the phone detaches from the OhSnap. That never happened with the OhSnap 3 pro. I’ve been in touch with customer service any we’ve been playing email tag. Now that it’s been detaching some times, the sticky part is getting dirty and sticking even less. Ugh
Clean the adhesive it’s a reusable adhesive I believe they tell you to clean it with an alcohol pad.
I currently use the Snap 3 Pro and one issue that really bothers me is whenever i use it with a MagSafe charger or mount, when i remove the phone the Snap grip ALWAYS stays on the charger/mount. Does the Snap 4 Luxe have the same issue?
hi to answer your question, both grips come with adhesive to make sure this doesn't happen. is you apply the adhesive, the ohsnap will stay on the phone every time. Both of them will come off if you do not apply the adhesive. Hope this helps.

15 pro.. no case. Just the bumper over camera lenses
@@domdon87 depending how far that camera bump sits out it might be too thick to stick to like a fridge or something. But oh snap does sell mounts that would work.
Is it hard to take off 1 case and put on another when you peel the back
You need a credit card you stick it in the edge and you twist it up as you work your way around it will pop off. If your adhesive sticks too hard to the case oh snap does sell replacement adhesives to put on your grip.

The only question I really have is do you have to use the adhesive on the back of it to place it onto your case? Or is the magnet in it capable of sticking to the case itself? I'm not sure if that makes any sense. Because I already have the mag safe ring on my phone case and didn't really want to take it off to put the old snap on there but if I have to then it is what it is I guess. @@NomadicMadda well when I look at the most recent video about it it looks like at the end she just snaps it on there without the adhesive. Like a regular popsocket or pop wallet or something.
MagSafe popsockets have rubber backs to increase friction that allow them to stay in pretty good. This product doesn’t have that plus this product has a very strong magnetic pull on it if you don’t have the adhesive I’m betting it will stay stuck on your charger or the fridge without the adhesive. So unfortunately I think the reusable adhesive is necessary. However because oh snap is the same size as MagSafe any MagSafe accessory will stick to it. So you shouldn’t need to take it off.
I just got mine today. They say you need to stick it with the adhesive; however on my iPhone 15 Pro Max with a MagSafe compatible charger I didn’t have to use the adhesive. I left the label on the back and it holds as firmly or even better than my other magnetic phone grips. So far I really like it. It’s my first OhSnap product. Seems the past models have got mixed reviews but this is a very nice grip. Love that I can charge through it too. And the blue is a perfect match for my blue titanium phone.

That plastic hinge broke on me 4 times. I was wondering how they were going to fix it but looks like they didn't. I do like the idea of the magnetic closure but getting a replacement every couple months was annoying. Sadness.
I’ll be honest with you it feels a bit thicker and it’s situated differently so I can’t say that it will definitely fix the problem but it might.

Can I ask how the material feels like when you use the through grip? I’ve used a loopy for years but recently the quality of their loops is going downhill and I want something similar to replace it.
This is nothing like loopy case it feels more like pop socket but more comfortable. Loopy case that I remember has a silicone band that has a little stretch. This is a more rigid plastic. You can stick your finger through the hinges to have a more secure loopy like hold but it doesn’t feel like loopy case because there isn’t the stretch you get. But unlike loopy case this doesn’t block wireless charging. Plus the aluminum feel of the ring that sticks to your phone does feel nice and premium.

I had issues. I wonder if you or anyone else did.. i bought the luxe and the snapcar 2.0 and charger. Well i believe the issue is with the ohsnap grip. But when i connect it all the grip falls off. Which is not the use of that. Any ideas?

@@mxl_31 hmm that’s weird I know it’s designed to stick directly on the phone that’s how they show it in videos I would recommend cleaning the adhesive as recommended and reapplying it to your phone and wait a full 24 hours before you try and use a MagSafe charger in it. I’m guessing it’s heating up and loosening the adhesive and the adhesive hasn’t cured yet.

I don’t get it, why use adhesive on a MagSafe accessory? Why not sell 2 versions of it and have a nonstick version for MagSafe? I can have my MagSafe popsocket grip off in half a second. I’m not sold 😣
The reason is it would slide off for what this grip does. The adhesive is reusable and you can stick any MagSafe accessory to this grip if you wanted to. But the adhesive is a down side for sure.
Love your feedback! The adhesive is reusable! It’s not permanently adhered! Try to remove it (slowly) and then reapply! It is a different adhesive from the snap 3 pro! Best grip from ohsnap yet!

The worst thing about this is that it has adhesive. That’s what makes the popsocket better. You can use it for multiple phones and take it off for any accessories
If you use this on your bare phone it is reusable. However with clear case the adhesive fuses with the case. But they do sell extra adhesives for pretty cheap. If the grip itself lasts. We’ll see I’m going to be using this one and putting it through the paces.

Can you use the popsocket with magsafe accessories and can you stick your phone to magnetic surfaces? That’s what sold me with the ohsnap4
I had the three, loved it! It broke 3 months later. They have a year warranty, so I used that to get the 4. Only been about a week, so far the 4 seems to be fine. The fatal flaw was the fact the middle pop thing broke, which caused extra strain on the hinge, causing it to fail in a few weeks (from the point of the middle snap thing breaking. That said, the 4 switched to a magnetic close vs a plastic snap. So seemingly the flaw from 3 is removed in 4. We will see how the 4 holds up. I will say their customer service getting it replaced was insanely good. Great company to work with!!:)
Yea I will give them that their customer service is very good. I just hope this product holds up. They haven’t made a perfect product yet. But this one is the closest to perfect I have seen from the beginning I really hope I like this grip as much as I do now in three months.

Dude trust, it's better than a pop socket. It's definitely not as durable as a pop socket, but the benefits of being able to stick it to anything magnetized, wireless charge (if you care for that), and the small profile is so nice
For me my pop wallet is the thing I like because it puts my wallet and phone together. However you lose the magnetic sticking to the fridge and stuff which I really rely on daily. It has every bit as comfortable a grip and like the other commenter said it’s not as durable. But you can still wirelessly charge with ohsnap as long as it’s on your phone directly or on a thin case.
I also got sucked into their marketing 😂😂 we'll see what happens

I’ve got tiny lil hands so a grip is basically required if I wanna use my phone one-handed (even the regular-size iPhones lol) Loved the idea of this thing because of how thin it is! Didn’t work for me. Caudabe Synthesis and Otterbox Symmetry cases, Anker MagSafe Cube, Offical Apple MagSafe power bank, Anker magnetic power bank…the charge starts then resets over and over again.
@@RockinSG2003Sames. I did connect it directly to the phone with out the case and it worked. I’m gonna give the frameless case for my iPhone to see how much protection it gives. But I love how it feels like.
