When this pointless drama happened last year I never had a problem with him shipping himself with Charlie, the issues I had with him was, why didn't he paid a SFM music video? that would have cast way less money to make, and people may have not made fun of him spending 50,000 on a below average D tier waifu.
I remember people ragging about the price acting like should of been free or only cost $5 - $10 for a commissioned animation.
I mean, tbf, that isn’t what people were actually ragging on about the price. They weren’t saying that it should’ve been cheap. They were ragging more on the fact that Verbalase paid for something so expensive when he was already aching for money, which was admittedly a pretty dumb move on his part.
I think its we expect that amount for a small indie studio, not for 2 mins of &^(stop talking)
