The Descayutes!
Great Information. I would like to talk to you about maybe scheduling a trip with you:) 42:36
really good vid
Also mentioned that those spawners coming up from the lake taste horrible. If your not catch and release fishing, you'll want to throw those back
What’s a type 3 or type 6 ? I have sonar sink 25 and it’s 150 gr
Hi Sunriver Anglers - Do you have any recommendations for walk n wade access along the 97 south of hwy 58?
Grew up on the Williamson River, but the biggest trout I have caught was on the Sprague River.
Where can I find this lions mane damsel pattern?
I have listened to this three times now, while tying up flies. Great and well rounded information! You, sir, should write a book!! Thanks:)
Can you share where you are fishing. Looks like it’s near warm Springs
I believe you’re correct…near Warm Springs. But I believe he covered other parts of the river as well.
@@Philfischer I din’t recognize the area with the parking lot and the island.
Are lures with treble hooks legal on the williamson
No there not… You can only use single hooks on the Williamson but sadly I see people using treble hooks there everyday no state troopers patrol the area
Best information I’ve seen on the Redsides. (Deschutes) in 40+ years of fishing. Heading their on Sunday. Thank you for sharing. I will certainly use all the tips I have not realized to use on this trip.
I really appreciate the great Intel the channel provides .helps me plans trips thanks
This was so kind of you to share and thanks a ton; great stuff. Was surprised you fish deep, heavy currents with a suspension system, but I'm gonna open my mind and not always grab a Euro rod
Hi and thanks for all this great info. Is it possible to fish from shore or wade fish from around the lower Deschutes day use area?
The banks are fairly steep and continue into the water. It'd be tricky with mixed results.
Very helpful! Thanks for sharing.
Great video.....! Very clear explanation! Thanks just jim
Thanks Jim!
Looking for a good campground on the river that might hold fish there? We are going to be wading and don’t have access to boats. we just wanna catch some big wild trout will be using a dry dropper set up most likely I never have much luck stripping streamers… thanks great video!!!

Very helpful video! I rarely fish the Deschutes (even though I live in central Oregon) but this time I'll be ready.
