Maybe your cpu is overheating and it throttles, you have to check that first. Secondly, what are your detailed pc specs, monitor resolution and refresh rate and what is your target fps?

@@PalatechGaming It does not overheat, I think it is not using all the capacity since the processor does not exceed 50% use, it always runs smoothly for me at fps of 120-140 but what happens is that there are micro freezes that damage the experience. The resolution my 1080p uses at 120hz

@@David-xb8in The CPU may be at 50% usage but is the GPU always at maximum usage (95-100%) when running the game with uncapped fps? That's what actually matters when you're running a game and this is a good metric indicating whether there is a cpu or a gpu bottleneck in the system. Your CPU might not be able to max out the GPU at 1080p in certain games with uncapped fps. However, in your case and since your monitor is 120Hz, I'd use vsync to lock the game to 120fps, you shouldn't to go over your monitor's refresh rate anyway, as this causes screen tearing that you may perceive as micro stuttering. So, if you aren't using vsync already, try enabling it to cap the fps at 120. If vsync doesn't solve this issue completely, then you should try locking your fps with Rivatuner or AMD Adrenaline to a lower value, like 100fps for example and see if the micro stuttering goes away. In general, high refresh rate gaming (=120fps or more) requires the fastest CPU possible in order to push these high frame rates, so if you really want to run all your games at more than 120fps with more consistency, maybe you should look into getting an X3D chip like the 5700X3D for your current AM4 platform, or going AM5 and getting a 7800X3D/9800X3D. These are all your options.

This is one of the best MMORPGs released in the last ten years or so. A beautiful open world, great graphics, decent combat. Of course this doesn't mean that the game is flawless, it's got its issues like time gating and p2w (these two usually go together). This is not a game you will find yourself immersed into for years, but overall it's definitely worth a play in 2024.

I get 50-60 fps most of the time, inside cities with a lot of people it can drop to the low 40s-high 30s, but overall it is a good experience, I can't complain. :)

@@nouty218 RSR is used only to upscale a game running at a resolution lower than the monitor's native resolution in order to match the monitor's native resolution, eg to upscale 1080p to 1440p if you have a 1440p monitor, or upscale 1080p or 1440p to 4K if you have a 4K monitor. In your case and since your screen is 1080p and you have an RX 6700XT like me, you don't need RSR or even FSR, the 6700 XT is plenty for 1080p high-epic settings without upscaling. What is your CPU?

@@Fishy-i2g That's true, however, back when the monthly subscription model was the norm, this kind of thing was considered 100x more unacceptable by the players who are the paying customers, so the companies had to act swiftly to deal with this. Nowadays, these companies can more or less hide their inaction behind the argument that we're playing their games for free, so that kinda removes our right to complain too much. That's the difference.

why are you explaining what we already know?? b2p, p2w, f2p doesn't really matter, isn't the issue of the vid. its botting and mmos with RM AH are generally targeted more on a f2p game. But I get what you saying

Wow has proven that subscription/b2p doesn't keep bots out. Botting can be solved with ingame GMs hired to police the game along with a decent anticheat. No just anticheat no just GM. You need both in sync. All botting can be solved with GMs patroling with 1000000% speedboost and infinite flying stealthed to watch this type of behavior and just mass banwave when they see it. Old MMOs in the 2000s didn't have this issue, because we used to have ingame GMs that worked for companies. Since the mid 2010s we have not seen GMs in gaming and this is the natural result.

Well since the genre isn't at its best in general, this mmo is one of the better ones that have come out in the last 10 years or so, it's actually quite good in many aspects. What doesn't look good though is this kind of botting, along with the p2w aspect, especially if you're a pvp player. It's a shame though cause the game is doing a lot of things really well.

It’s only slightly better compared to the beta test but they haven’t fixed much of the graphical shit that people complained about in beta. The 4770K can push around 90 fps in most competitive games and over 100+ fps in games like LoL and DOTA2. Some people will say that anything less than 144fps is not enough for competitive shooters. The truth is that if you're a competitive gamer in FPS games, you need the best CPU possible if you want to play on a high refresh rate monitor. However if you're playing triple A games at 60 fps the 4770K is good enough in most cases.

Indeed! The 5600G is vastly superior as a CPU in relation to the 2400G, and even with just the embedded graphics, 5600G is again superior to 2400G in fps output. It goes without saying that if you install an additional graphics card, 5600G wipes the floor with the 2400G in every case, it is just so much better. It actually depends on the refresh rate of your monitor. If you have a 1080p/240Hz monitor, you need a faster cpu to max your gpu usage. If however you have a 60Hz display, then the 2700X is just fine and you have nothing to worry about. :)

Hi there and thanks for the comment! We are mostly using synthetic benchmarks and games with built-in benchmarks in order to provide more consistent results that can be directly comparable to yours. The PCIex x8 limit affects only Ryzen 2000 and 3000 series APUs, not Ryzen 4000 and 5000 series APUs, which means that a Ryzen 5 5600G for instance pairs well even with high end GPUs like the RTX 3080 Ti without a problem. We have actually tested that combo and it worked very well: ruclips.net/video/r2K9DZzAhfQ/видео.html Now as for the Ryzen 2000 and 3000 series APUs are concerned, while the PCIex x8 limitation can be a problem in certain cases like the AMD RX 6400/6500 that work at PCIex 4.0 x4 mode, this also affects all PCIe gen 3.0 CPUs with full PCIex x16 support. Imo no one should be buying these gpus anyway, you're better off getting a used RX 580 or a GTX 1000/RTX 2000 series GPU, these will work very well with the 2400G. The Ryzen 2400G as a cpu performs similarly to a 2nd-3rd gen Intel Core i7. Yeah It is a shame really, because 4th gen or even 2nd gen Intel are still quite capable cpus. This was the first game that wouldn't get a constant 60 fps on my overclocked i7 2600K @4.4GHz. It was quite shocking tbh and that made me upgrade to a Ryzen 7 2700X, but now even this 8c/16t cpu can't get a constant 60 fps in some of the latest games which is totally nuts and I "must" upgrade again. Thankfully I can get a 5800X3D without changing my mobo but still, at this rate I'm afraid that the 5800X3D will be rendered "obsolete" very soon as well. We should just boycott all these new totally unoptimized games till the companies get the message that gamers will no longer tolerate buying unfinished or outright broken games on release. Games like Horizon Forbidden West which is fantastic, looks awesome and is very well optimized show the right way forward.

I haven't tested it personally but I'm pretty sure it works just fine with this game.
