Initial thoughts on the Arctic Leopard 20kw
I was fortunate enough to get my hands on the early version of the Arctic Leopard in the 20kw version.
This is just my initial thoughts because I need more seat time.

ME ROCKING THE MOUNTAIN AT HIGH SPEED BETWEEN THE DUMD TOURIST
I would like to make an update on my ownership of this bike. Unfortunately after only a couple rides it started to fall appart and was almost dangerous to ride. I tried to contact AL and never managed to find a solution for the poor mapping. I had several parts failure that where premature. -The kick stand was a joke and the weld failed after a few ride -The throttle was so cheap it broke within a few ride as well. -The rear shock even adjusted to the max was way to soft. (I have trial bikes and this was way worse) -The brakes would constantly overheat and I would loose the rear brake at every ride. -There is no bead lock and so I had constant flat tire. This is an easy fix but unaceptable to not have stock The Mapping or the throttle curve was really bad and had no finess and a huge amount of lag. I would have 100% power at 25% throttle and it would deliver 1/2 second after you would twist the throttle. It was dangerous especially with all that power. I sold the bike at a huge loss and deeply regret buying this bike. I would not recommend anyone from buying this bike. Just remember that you get what you pay for. On the other hand My Escape R has been incredibly reliable and fun to ride. I took the bike on many trips accros USA and Canada. I rode trails I could of only dreamed of riding on my KTM 300 2T. If I would of known the AL would of been an unreliable money pit I would of both a second EM but the trial version.
It using a QC motor is that good or bad? Does it have more torque than let’s say e-motion Motor, a KO motor or just any other popular motor? Thanks wesley
In all honestly with all the noise it was making I think it was being surcharge and wont last very long. So a bad thing.
Thanks for sharing!
max. voltage of motor? s24 - 100Volt is ok? controller..
is the rear suspension has aircan? u use air pump to make it stiffer?
Where can I get one?
Thanks for the review. I'm assuming the EM is vastly superior in terms of power delivery for hard enduro type of application? Without a clutch its hard to imagine having much wheel spin control...can you comment on that? Thank you!
That's sums it up but you can tell one EM as spend a lot of time in the mapping. They are so much more confidence inspiring than the AC. I sold the AC because it was not as good in tight technical stuff. really prefer the EM!
Thinking of buying the arctic ext 800 with 25kw motor, is the build quality good enough and are they reliable. Do you prefer the EM over the Arctic cheers.
Im on the fence with the EM and this bike , mostly the range issue is the 20K vs. Escape R comparable , what is the real world range of the Fox and the escape. you say the noise from the motor is impressive if its to noisy than the whole stealth trail riding is a mute point.
Between the two imo there is no doubt. The EM is the better choice. Range is excatly the same between the two but the EM gives you much more control and quality.
What’s the em?
@@chrisc6162 Electric Motion Escape R. It's the bike that AL copied to make the xt800.
Where did you buy this at ?
who is this made by? I remember seeing this bike on another Chinese motorcycle website.
they are made By arctic leopard. It's a new Chinese brand
Great video!
Awesome buddy
Hey, thanks for the clip, could you answer such questions as 1) How many kilometers it is enough under different conditions. 2) Whether it is convenient to ride it when more than 180 cm 3) Which settings can be configured in the controller.
I average 30-40km per charge. It's the same as my EM
Where did you order this Arctic Leopard (72V 20 KW)
Ebikezilla
Nice! I have one as well - the 25kW version. It is the most fun I've had on 2 wheels. I've uploaded some trail rides on my channel. Check it out: ruclips.net/video/xwP0FNBEKos/видео.html
I've ridden this bike. It's really well put together and extremely fast.
Hi ,tks for the initial thoughts, what Qs motor is ? the 138 3kw with reduction or bigger one?Did you know what kind of cells are in the battery?
It looks exactly like qs138V3 with built in reduction.
@@adskiygamer And battery !!????
@@fredericchastro4263 I don't think @Afrobitaille will tear down the battery on his new bike. If it's not easy-peasy to do so.
@@adskiygamer that's what I think as well
@@fredericchastro4263 I have no idea. Seems to hold pretty well and keeps the charge.
Bonjour, je suis entrain de planifier un trip a SE aussi et je me demandais si tu avais acheter ta moto labas ? pour combien $ et cc ? Et puis est ce que tu a traverser des frontieres avec ? Merci et ton video est super nice !!
The go pro is a good camera but the most important thing is the light. That ski resort as really good light set uo and it is the reason why the quality is good.
I just got a gopro aand I was a bit worried about the quality at night, looks good though!
I'll be heading to Finland in December with a GoPro Hero 2 HD and am trying to find the best night settings. What have you found are the best settings and lens?
thanks man appreciated soun i will upload a better video
This deserves more views ;)
