Boxley to Ponca (Buffalo National River)
TRIP REPORT:
Boxley to Ponca is a super fun 6mi run!
The river drops an average of 17ft per mile
I’d rate this section as class 1-2+, I don’t think there’s an rapids that are class 3 but that’s just my opinion

Little Buffalo River: Parthenon to Jasper
Просмотров 645 месяцев назад
TRIP REPORT: Parthenon to Jasper is just under 7 miles The river drops an average of 13ft per mile I’d rate this section class 1-2 with maybe a couple class 2 rapids Not as scenic as the Upper Buffalo but still a fun run
Kayaking South Fourche LaFave River

Frist time on the South Fourche LaFave River! Fun river with many fun class 2 rapids, I disagree with American Whitewater giving this a class 3 rating, maybe 2-3 high class 2's at best. The run was 11.3mi, at 4.25ft it was perfect! www.americanwhitewater.org/content/River/view/river-detail/3929/main

Wolf Pen to Redding (Mulberry River)
Просмотров 9429 месяцев назад
Wolf Pen to Redding Campground on the Mulberry River is an awesome 12.5mi trip with many class 1-2 rapids, tons of fun! There are many accesses to shorten the trip: 4mi after Wolf Pen is High Bank Access, 2mi after that is Indian Creek Access, 2.5mi after that is Byrd’s Adventure Center. This level (3.5ft) is perfect for anyone wanting the river to have some kick without being dangerously high
Mulberry River: Turner Bend to Campbell Cemetery

TRIP REPORT: Fun section, many class 2’s but at 2.2ft barely class 2’s, at 3.0ft or higher it’s a lot better. Had the whole river to myself, winter kayaking is the best!

Helton’s to Long Pool (Big Piney Creek)
Просмотров 27810 месяцев назад
The infamous Helton’s to Long Pool! Honestly it’s not really too technical, “The Mother” is barely a class 3, tons of class 2’s, tons of fun even at 2.55ft
Big Piney Creek: HWY 123 to Helton’s Farm
Просмотров 10310 месяцев назад
This is a great alternative to the more popular Helton’s Farm to Long Pool. HWY 123 to Helton’s Farm has tons of class 2 rapids to make it worth it! Thought at this level it would be low but American Whitewater is wrong that under 3ft is not floatable
Chadwick ATV Trails (Mark Twain National Forest Missouri)

The trails I was on are 104 and 101 some of the least technical trails at Chadwick but still lots of fun!

Finley River: Lindenlure to Ozark Park Great 6mi float nothing crazy barely class 1 I grew up floating this river, always fun to run it For better quality video go to settings and make it 720p or 1080p
Middle Fork Little Red River: Lydalisk to Shirley
Просмотров 184Год назад
Middle Fork Little Red River: Fox Low Water Bridge to Shirley (10mi) Level was 1,130CFS (8.39ft) American Whitewater rates this section as a having class 3 rapids, at this level the most difficult rapids felt like high 2’s but not 3’s, but that’s just my opinion.

Cadron Creek: Mill Bridge Rd to Pinnacle Springs Rd (10mi) The Level was 337CFS (2.87ft) Very few paddlers on this section of the Creek on a Saturday morning.

@@zacsoutdoorchannel I spend a lot of time on the Buffalo National River. Already have over 200 miles on it just this year.. Doing an overnighter on the lower this Wednesday and Thursday. Looks like I may get it in or around flood stage. I'll have it up on my channel maybe next week.
