I been in ATA for 8 years 3rd degree black belt. Its a waste of your time trust me! I joined a world teakwondo federation school THAT'S MUCH cheaper and better! You actually work out instead of playing games all day! And there sparring is way better! I think your making a huge mistake of putting your son in this price of crap..I used to defend ATA but once you do true teakeondo you will regret this shit. It's also OLYMPIC teakeondo and they have tournaments all the way in Egypt etc. Its never t

@MrBrutalFrenzy - thank you for the comments about the ATA. Spot on. I also love how inclusive the ATA is. It lets everyone learn martial arts and compete, like my two 8 year old boys - one of which is blind and has Cerebral Palsy, yet truly identifies himself as a martial arts.

@MrBrutalFrenzy - At Worlds in June, James Simms won 1st in sparring and form. Mitchell came in second in sparring. Both moved up to 2nd degree after that.

@yunhee93 : Hi. Jacob is blind, though he has some vision. He has a Cortical Vision Impairment (CVI because of damage to his optic nerves at birth) and is very near sighted. Jac does have some vision, and he is using it more and more. We are not sure how much he sees of the icons on the device, but I think he uses them as clues (like which cells have a symbol, which are blank, is one more red...). He is memorizing the location of the icons. Does that address your comment? Cheers - john.
