I stopped by the mall today and was surprised to find the interior still open to the public. There’s still a tuxedo rental store operating inside of the mall. Everything else aside from Macy’s and JC Penney had closed or relocated to some other plaza. Did not expect the mall to still be open. Even google and the wikipedia article for this place said it closed back in April

Ever since I started my summer internship at Delaware North, I've been riding this elevator a ton. I enjoy it a lot! And in case someone was wondering, no, this doesn't go into nudge mode. I tried several times lol. I'm sure the one at the Mohawk parking deck does.

I filmed this elevator back in 2015. I actually filmed all the elevators in this building in L.L. Bean. I started with the series 5 in the newest section, then I did the two Pine state elevators and finished off with this elevator.

Good damn shame

Looks just like the Vertechs in my church. This elevator model gets stuck easily I know that because I know many people who got stuck in one of these.

As far as I’m aware,this thing is still here and running.

The interlock says it was installed in July 2004.

I know a lot of people in the elevator community complain about how slow these are, but because they are made specifically for ADA compliance these have a slower mandatory speed compared a regular elevator. But when it comes to wheelchair accessibility as a wheelchair user I find that these are the best when it comes to just needing a small elevator.
