RUclips recommended this channel after I listened to Thucydides and Donald Kagan (Yale Course, 24 lectures.) Wilson does an excellent job in comparison! He teases out the important events, is helpful, and interprets better, in my view, than Kagan. Kagan is too ideological, putting into the mouths of ancient Greeks what he thinks today. (I read a few of his obituaries.)

Great videos! I can't believe I've only just come upon your channel, with the tips of searches I run and with your content, the only way I've been missing it is because of the algorithm. I'm assuming it's the typical catch 22 where until you get high viewing numbers the videos aren't ranked highly, but you're also prevented from getting higher views because they don't rank you high enough. It's bs. If you're still making videos perhaps try doing some partnership casts with some of the bigger ranked channels which might help get you some visibility. A good one who might be interested in sponsoring or hosting you in some way is "Study of Antiquity and the Middle Ages". I mean this humbly with all due respect, I'm just so annoyed that I spend so much time searching for good channels like yours and they're not visible. I'm going to share where I can.
