I'm curious to see the gameplay and how the terrain works. I am seeing all these intro to Gunpla vidoes from RUclipsrs I already follow and the molded colors and poseability of the figures were the selling point and they seem to just be doing plain minis. Maybe the game will scale with slightly bigger Gundam

It would be more enjoyable if the photos were scaled larger, especially for those of us watching on mobile.

Greetings! I could not agree more the games need to come out and then we as a community can let the developers know heres been our experiences. I am curious though for hobbyist that can kit bash and use green stuff what people will come up with. Especially for terrain on the board we could have some really cool space to space colony warfare.

Thanks for this. I have 2 cutters - the Chopper II and the RP Tools cutter. I quickly gave up on the Chopper as the accuracy was poor. The RP cutter is a big improvement but still doesn't give you a perpendicular cut and, as the previous comment states, sometimes you have to hold the required piece down (with a tweezer or thin brush handle) as you cut. I'd like to try this one but you have to know when to stop!!!

You make a good point, but what about the fans that were introduced to Gundam from a series outside of the UC? Some people won’t be drawn to a product if it doesn’t include their connective starting point with the intellectual property…

I would buy this for the models alone. If they are 32mm scale. I might pass on the gameplay.

A random mix of gear from every series up and down the time line is by far the worst thing they could have done. Should have started UC and it there was any demand add another time line like Seed or IBO.

I'm curious how big each game would be, from the video it looks like each player has a handful of models instead of something like a 40k game which usually has dozens of models in the standard formats.

16 here. If only there were a tabletop game featuring stompy robots with 40 years of franchise building and lore, building a huge expansive universe. Oh wait thats battletech. But then there have been fan made gundam tabletop games using adapted battletech or 5e style rules. Even gatcha figures have been used over the years for tabletop gaming, doing some search for strategy of gundam will likely turn up results about that. My theory is the cards will work like BT alpha strike, used for unit stats, armor hit tracking and such. Likely will include weapons and equipment to use with the unit card. So you'd grab a mini, with the corresponding unit card. Grab a pilot card, choose a ranged and close weapon and maybe sub weapons. Maybe theyll try some sort of equipment slot number. Who knows until they tell us more. My mainbhope is they dont lock cool stuff behind p bandai or try to do blind boxes. I understand the profitability behind blind boxes but let me tell you that it is incredibly frustrating trying to build forces when you cant select what you want or need. I would be ok with a limited release here or there but let me tell you who will not. Comic shops. Theyd have zero reason to support this or host game nights when all the desirable product is locked in pbandai. Theyre not happy with gunpla at one of my locals for that reason. Depending how bandai handles this is how well it will succeed. Their typical business model is not going to work here. They need to have product on shelves. They need auxiliary support, terrain, map scale ships, play mats, all that stuff is going to be needed to support this endeavor.

Money wise you get more kitbash8ng buying ATK Girl line because in a box you already get a lot of customization option, enough to make two figures. meanwhile 30MS you have to buy anything separately. You need to buy at least 3 separate boxes just to get it to resemble a mecha girl.

Nice! I live on the water so its always windy which makes priming outside a pain in the ass. Awhile back I started getting Army Painter's brush on primer, and while good, it only comes in a mid gray color, so it's nice to know there is a white alternative. I see this stuff all the time in the art store when I'm getting glaze medium, and never even looked twice at it. Definitely gotta try it now.

So coooool!! I admit seeing you use the hobby knife cutting towards yourself at times, I thought blood would be spilled. Its really cool that it comes with the other little dinos too and a random human.

Nice video to see how gesso applies on models. I wanted to try out model painting without spending a big amount and then ending up not using all the stuff if I decide not to pursue it further. So white acrylic gesso was the best thing I could get locally without spending citadel prices. Obviously cans or airbrush give more even results but this seems to be a great alternative if you can't easily order urethane-base primer or don't want to use spray cans.
