What is that number selector on the bottom of your Pole
@@bidkid2020 you can use it for if you have multiple of their rods. Most people use it to show the pound test of their line. So they can easily tell what they’re using and make quick decisions.
What reel and line are you using?
@@funkykidd8 the reel is in the video title but it’s a Okuma Ceymar CBF500 with the bait feeder drag. Then the line is a no fade red braid from reaction tackle on Amazon. Tried to keep this cheap but it’s one of my most fun reels and rods
This is a solid review 👌🏽 video
Confidence is Paramount!
Nice
Thanks!
How much is the price ?
I got mine for about $120 for the combo. They had a deal but when I got there they didn’t have any made combos. So they allowed me to pick a reel and rod and make one and gave me the price for the deal. Think it all together normally runs $180
They are around 250 for combo
@@Lmessi_Miami4good Lord where are you getting yours from lol. The baitcaster ain’t even that much
$139.99 now at Harbor Freight. Needing 2 pick up a riding mower. I have wood planks, but figured they would fall when i unload. So thought about renting a uhaul. But i look on the Harbor Freight site. Never bn 2 HF b4, but heard sumwhere that they sell ramps. Got on here 2 c if i could b convinced 2 buy this 1--couldn't c well enough on their picture how it hooks AND stays on the truck.
I wouldn’t advise these now. They work well for a few uses but I think tractor supply sells better ones for the length of them so the slop is not as drastic.
There good if u don’t have a lifted truck
Very true. But hey real men don’t drive lifted 😉. Kidding I do drive a leveled truck and it was steeper than that Ranger. These ramps also broke on me after two years but I did not baby them. They’re not used for a bridge.
Thank you. I really appreciated this video. Your video has helped me make my decision on purchasing this ramp.
Performs well. Very pleased
I wonder how that will work for a zero turn mower?
For a zero turn I’d suggest finding a hill and it’d need to be of course a mower than can fit in your bed. But using a hill to help cut down the angle it’ll work perfectly. I used it all the time but I had a ditch area I could pull my truck(s) and use the ramp as a ramp or bridge.
@@ghilliemanreviews I'm actually needing to ramp into a shed I just built. Height above grade is about 14".
@@ewetoobblowzdogg8410 it should be fine for that I believe
Had a set of these and used them for several years loading into the back of a 4x4 Dodge Ram 2500. They are a bit steep and I had to kneel on the seat and lean over the handle bars to shift the weight forward, but they worked great. I broke them loading a trencher on my trailer. Probably will replace them with the Cabela's Yutrax extra long trifold ramps.
Yes not a bad idea. They are very steep. Better for smaller pickups. Mine actually broke themselves after I made the 2nd video on them after a year. I think they are still great because I left mine out in the weather and they took some abuse from me lol. I used them for anything and everything and easily exceeded the weight limit.
Great vid, I especially loved the statement you made about confidence. "If you're not 100% confident in the ramps, then you might as well sell the ramps."
“If you don’t have confidence, might as well sell the ramp”. Hell yeah, I agree!
Still stand by it lol I don’t use the ramps anymore since I got an enclosed trailer but I’ll tell anyone that.
Great video!! Straight to the point!!
My harbor freight didnt have em but Cabellas has the Yutrax tri fold ramps and i got the 82" long one for $163 out the door. My new honda rancher arrives at the dealer mid Dec and my ramps will be in about 9 days from now. Buying an atv here in TN right now is hard to find exactly what i want in stock
Do more reviews, your good at it
I was looking at this ramp in my local store here in NB Canada. They charge 399$ CAD for it here. Glad i found this video. I think Ill buy em
Seen both videos of urs and as a previous 2001 ranger owner wit a 6 ft bed and now a 1/2 ton titan owner with a shorter bed i am impressed.. i dont have an atv yet but im gona get theese
Great video. I had to pass on this ramp. HF now has them listed at 125.00. Cabelas carries a similar product for 130.00 that is welded not riveted. With an extra 250 lbs rating. Straps instead of chains. Free shipping. Hf is Pick up only at store.
Sweet. My ramps have bit the dust now so that might be a greater decision. But I did not go easy on them.
if everyone would do a review like this straight to the point and show it in action people would waist less time on youtube
Haha I appreciate it. That's why they beat around the bush! Want you to come back for more. I plan on making more reviews like this I just need a product to do.
do you wear helmet when you load your atv ?
I should lol
Like the center piece, good for tri motos
ONE THING I JUST LEARNED I DIDN'T THINK TO TWIST THE CHAIN I GOT A 03 DODGE I JUST EXTENDED CHAIN TO THE LOOPS ON THE BED
It helps!
I GOT THIS RAMP IT'S OKAY BUT MY FERRIS STAND UP MOWER SCRAPE'S BAD
Will these work for zero turn?
Not the best unless your truck is low to the ground. If you have a higher truck, the deck will scrub the ramps. Or if you back to a hill and use the ramps as a small incline or bridge then it's fine.
@@ghilliemanreviews ok thanks for the reply 👍
I have these ramps and I use them on a low flatbed trailer. I do chain them but I also rigged a bolting system to them as well and bolt them to the trailer. I have had an accident in the past with a different set of single ramps where the machine fell off with me on it. Not fun!!! So I never trust ramps unless they are secured by a chain AND a bolt.
Just foe warning these are great ramps for a while but mine have bit the dust temporarily! The welding for the ledges you sit on the bed have come apart. The rest of the ramps have held up great. But I need to repair them
Hey man I wanna ask you have you ever tried the setup from tractor supply and if so how do they compare? I need it more for walking bikes up the ramp than I do for quads but I do both
I have not tried it but I would say now it might be the better option especially if they're longer. My ramps have finally started showing age and the pegs at the end have bent or the welds have broken
@@ghilliemanreviews I had a feeling those were serious weak points at some point. Ok thanks for the reply 👍🏻
Best video out there. Thank you
Appreciate it! Thanks for watching!
great video, very helpful. thanks so much!
Thanks for watching!
thanks Bud! Great video
Glad you enjoyed it!
Good review, but i have to say when it comes to a ramp for my ATV into my 8' Silverado bed, the last thing on y mind is only spending $100.00, I'll spend $500.00 for the best " safest " ramp on the market. How much is my body worth.
I will say I agree with thus statement. My ramp actually messed up on me. Debating on making a video about it to warn people about maybe theirs could have the same issue.
Always love seeing a pooch in the vids.
I love to include them! Even if they're a bunch of goobers! Lol
Awesome video, thanks for sharing!
Great job and thanks for the review.
Thanks for posting. You're the man.
Thank u very much man
You didn't show how you load the dog.
😂 Don’t need ramps for her! She jumps in and loves to ride!
@@ghilliemanreviews Love those dogs.
Thinking about getting these. I got a Silverado lifted 3 inches hope they will be long enough
I would advise not. My ramps actually just broke. I will make a video on this soon.
I have a non-lifted F-150 and these ramps are not long enough to "safely" drive my quad up. I've done it once or twice but it's super sketchy. I've been putting regular car ramps under the bottoms (the kind you use for oil changes, etc) to get some extra length which has worked well, but I really just wish I got longer ramps to begin with.
@@ksarnelli yeah I might not wanna cheap out with these harbor freight ones. Gonna go ahead a drop a couple hundred on some good tri folds
I have this exact ramp bought it about a year ago I put a 450 Kodiak Yamaha in the back of a full size Toyota Tundra. The truck sits higher than the one in this video and it is a little steeper so I wish the ramps were maybe 6 in or even a foot longer but I have no problem with it. I put my vehicle in 4-wheel drive and I ease it up just like this gentleman dead I've never had an issue the safety chains work every time they're perfect no slipping at all and I loved it best ramp for the money and I like the fact that it's a trifold and not to separate ramps. I completely agree with your assessment this is a great ramp a little longer would be nice but I've made it work
Great to hear they’re working for you! Love the Toyota tundras hope the truck is working for you!
Excellent video, concise and well edited. You could put channels with thousands of subscribers to shame.
Haha thanks! Have a good one!
Very well done video.....thank you.
Thank you for the comment and feedback! Hope it helped!
Decent video. I made a pair out of scrap lumber not as nice but they can slide in under the quad where these ones can not. Check it out.ruclips.net/video/Zc0o2Z_ULT0/видео.html
I’ll go look at it!
I'm glad I saw this video.... Definitely Helpful.....
Glad it helped!
Thanks useful review
Thanks for watching!
These ramps work great if you have a smaller truck if you got a full size truck like me this ram is too short and steep
Caesar Bedoya agreed. When I had my ranger that’s in this video it was amazing. I have an f150 now and they still get the job done but make it a little uneasy. Your confidence is everything with something like this. These are great ramps but longer ones win for taller trucks
Trifold ramps are the way to go
BallinLikeANutsack very true!
The real question is can i use these to get my riding mower in the truck with our bottoming out on the tail gate?
Justin Kirk I would not suggest using these ramps for a mower unless you have a hill to backup too and use them like a bridge. You will bottom out with these on flat ground. I have used these for a long time now and still love them but I’m going to be investing in a trailer soon for hauling my mower and four wheeler
Very helpful thanks!

That’s pretty cool! Never seen that. With these ramps I don’t think you’d need it but that opens the door to many other kinds! I liked these for the fact it had the chains
@@ghilliemanreviews Thanks so much i truly believe in safety and that is why i sell them too many people get hurt loading and unloading when in a hurry
brian martine I’ll be buying these, I think that it’s easier than the chains.
