The maximum value for killed Tonberries is 255 (the counter resets to 0 if you kill 1 Tonberry more). By killing 7 you reach the damage cap of 9999. if (battle.TONBERI_COUNT ﹥ 13) damage = 9999; else damage = (short)(1 ﹤﹤ (int)(battle.TONBERI_COUNT - 1)); The TONBERI_COUNT there is not exactly the number of Tonberries killed but 1 + 2 * number of tonberries killed. TONBERI_COUNT = 1 ➼ damage = 1 TONBERI_COUNT = 3 ➼ damage = 4 TONBERI_COUNT = 5 ➼ damage = 16 TONBERI_COUNT = 7 ➼ damage = 64 TONBERI_COUNT = 9 ➼ damage = 256 TONBERI_COUNT = 11 ➼ damage = 1024 TONBERI_COUNT = 13 ➼ damage = 4096 TONBERI_COUNT ﹥ 13 ➼ damage = 9999
Hello, Thanks for the info on the code that blocks the max damage points at 9999 from 7 Tomberies killed and onwards; but it makes sense when you think about it, because even if I'm not at all a computer expert, I think the devs prevented too high a value from being calculated with this cap. As for the Tomberies killed counter, I was aware of the strange calculation method because I scanned the game's memory values in 2015 via the Cheat Engine (i.e. a counter of which the max is 255, and of which the value increases from 0 to 1 during the first battle when Tomberies are encountered IIRC, then increases by 2 units for each Tombery killed), and that's why I often mention the number of 127 Tomberies killed as the maximum in my different guides/videos, because that's what matters to the player. But IIRC during my past tests, the value blocks as soon as the counter reaches 255 (which corresponds to 127 Tomberies killed then) and does not reset to 0 after that. But maybe the counter really resets and I wasn't paying attention, so I will confirm this tonight when I have access to my PC which contains the emulator and the Cheat Engine app. By the way, I only play and run tests on the PS1 version.
There you go, I did the test on emulator to confirm, and these two short videos linked below show that the value of the "Tomberry count" is capped at 255 (which therefore makes the number of 127 the cap of tomberies killed) on PS1. Maybe the counter only resets on new versions of the game. ruclips.net/video/D9iCi1sZldM/видео.html ruclips.net/video/weENM51uawE/видео.html
@@Vizuino Thanks for doing the testing, now we know there is a difference between versions. 👌
@@KFCPhantasm You are welcome. Now, you need to test if the 9999 cap of dragons killed and successful steals in PS1 was applied in the new FF9 releases.

Thanks bro. I hope all of this will work.
can you help me how can i get Eiko lvl1 hp 200 ?
HPs, at level 1, are equal to Strength multiplied by 5. For Eiko to have 40 Strength points at level 1, I trained Marcus up to level 99 with equipment that increases his Strength (in order to take advantage of the bug which transfers the bonus stats gained by Marcus to Eiko).
@@Vizuino thinks ، i need equiment status 99 Strength and 87magic for Eiko ؟
@@M-45-6 If you ask for the details of the training to achieve these results, here is what you can find in the "Training summaries" chapter, in the "INTRO & GUIDES" tab of the Excel guide that you can download from this video's description: Eiko's training (base results: Speed = 31; Strength = 99; Magic = 87; Spirit = 41; Magic Stones = 81) * 98 levels as Marcus: Steepled Hat / Bone Wrist / Chain Plate / Power Belt. * 33 levels in Disc 4: Magic Racket / Green Beret / Power Wrist / Minerva's Plate / Dark Matter. * 32 levels in Disc 4: Magic Racket / Holy Miter / Power Wrist / Minerva's Plate / Dark Matter. * 30 levels in Disc 4: Magic Racket / Green Beret / Power Wrist / Robe of Lords / Dark Matter. * 3 levels preferably in Disc 4: Magic Racket / Green Beret / Magic Armlet / Minerva's Plate / Dark Matter. Note that there are four concepts/paths of perfect game in the challenge that this video is related to; the results above concern all the four concepts except one, that insructs to reach the following results: Eiko's training (base results: Speed = 31; Strength = 79; Magic = 99; Spirit = 50; Magic Stones = 81). Check the Excel guide for more details if you are interested.
i hope you get Excalibur 2 in 2026.
Really interesting, keep going!
@Vizuino Hello, I would like to get the entire collection of 100 Tetra Master cards on my next playthrough of the game. I will only need a list and location of what cards I can miss on disc 4. I hope you can help?
No problem. So, all the cards can be obtained on Disc 4 except the Namingway card, which can only be obtained on Disc 3 (during the cards tournament in Treno or later in Kuja's Palace). If you do not obtain the Fat Chocobo card automatically by completing the chocobo quest, this card will be the most difficult to obtain via Tetra Master on Disc 4. To find out where to find all the cards, you can download the "annex" guide which is at the bottom of each description of my let's play; it contains a tab in which there are steps to follow in order to obtain all the cards in Disc 4 (the disc when it is the most practical to obtain them all) one by one (you can ignore my instructions to obtain a certain number of arrows if you are only interested in obtaining the 100 card types).
Thankyou, and I am glad to have interacted with such a big fan of the game as yourself! FF9 is a very special RPG for me, I grew up playing it. So, I know how awesome it really is. :)@@Vizuino
@@p3tr0114 You are welcome. Contact me whenever you want if you have difficulty obtaining certain cards.
What were your characters stat points after this without equipment!? I'm curious!!
You mean after achieving the training to level 99? You can find them in the "annex file" of which the download link appears in the bottom of the description of this video (the file contains also an explanation of the critetia used for the training). Note that in this current challenge/file, I achieved the training of all the characters except Steiner and Amarant, because there are training/stats to achieve that I consider as acceptable alternatives for these two characters (but I didn't publish them).
Combined stats for Amarant Speed- 31 Strength- 70 Magic- 60 Spirit- 50 The path most people take (for E2PG) Speed- 31 Strength- 72 Magic- 56 Spirit- 50 Compared to this in terms of no equipment Speed- 34 Strength- 84 Magic- 57 Spirit- 33 Spirit benefits more overall this is just an example if you'd rather have more HP!!
Hi, Thanks for commenting. I know all these concepts of characters training, but the goal with the training achieved in this short video is not to be the most effective in terms of survival, but to reach 9999 HP, and this is only possible by reaching 84 points of strength.
Honestly I didn't think I'd get a response in such an old video!! I love this game and have created multiple files too see all the countless possibilities with stat increasing!! I know there's already a "combined stats path" which is basically having the maximum combined stats as possible for each stat point!! But I honestly think there could be a new creative route!! It just hasn't been found yet and I've yet to find it!!
@@thevangsta9892 You're in luck, because as you can see in my channel, I'm still posting videos at the moment, so I still notice the comments I receive in my email box. If you are really interested in concepts of characters max stats, you should take a look at my most recent challenge "Perfect Game with Offensive Training", which contains my most effective (and arbitrary) training approach, but you can also consult my challenge which I named "X/Y/Z/& Concepts challenge" which contains a less arbitrary but less effective approach (it is a "Combined" approach but which takes into account HP, MP and the other defensive stats with equipment in the sum of stats). You will find links of these two concepts in my RUclips profile page. There are also other concepts (which I now consider obsolete) that I have posted in files or forums (email me if you are interested in links to his concepts). Anyway, I am at your disposal for any questions relating to the subject of max stats because it is a subject which has always interested me in FF9.
What equipment did Marcus have on him
Hi, As written in the video's description: - Setup 1: 26 levels with Bandana, Leather Wrist, Chain Plate and Glass Buckle. - Setup 2: 12 levels with Bandana, Bone Wrist, Chain Plate and Glass Buckle. - Setup 3: 60 levels with Bandana, Bone Wrist, Chain Plate and Gold Choker.

@@Richard-yt9vi There are several approches to maximize the stats of characters; my approach is detailed in the "annex file" that you can download by clicking in the link at the bottom of the video's description (the file contains also the detailed equipment setups for each character).

Nice
Great achievement! I'm also trying to forge a UDDS, after having already completed the full weapon set and the UDDA. I wanted to use your NG+12 recipe here: drive.google.com/file/d/17Vcl7aM0rAKaTE6OLX8dPvXlZfeGQzUc/view But I can't understand it! The problem I have is that the numbers seem misaligned in the grey columns. For example there are n° just beside the "slots" section that seem like they were intended to be lower, next to the actual combinations. For example in the NG+12 route you get 13 (D) Circle shields, but in one of the combos there's 19 next to (W) Quad + (D) Circle that doesn't make any sense, as (D) Circle shields can only be found in a chest once per game cycle... And, more confusing still, some zeroes next to some combos... Am I missing something here? 😅 Sorry to bother you after all this time. I hoped you can shed light on this subject because I REALLY wanted to use your guide because you're the only one that used the (D) Circle shields, while every other guide I found only used the (D) Casserole shields.
Hello and thanks for you interrest (you don't bother me since i'm pretty active on the platform at the moment), IIRC, the grey "AC" collumn contain values that represent the number of times a "main combined shield" (combination plans of the middle) must be made in order to be used as a primary element (red values) in the final combination plan in the far left. In the last tab (Damascus Dread 13 games) for example, the (W) Round 22/14/14 must be made 2 times, the (W) Round 22/20/20 must be made 10 times, the (D) Casserole 19/16/16 must be made 2 times, the (D) Casserole 18/16/16 must be made 1 time, and the (W) Casserole 32/27/27 must be made 5 times. At that time, I didn't know about the "$" function in Excel to use an "absolute reference", so I repeated each value 6 times (the first of the 6 values is placed in the same line of the header of the plan of the "main combined shield" concerned), so that they could be used easily as mutipliers of the values in the respective rows in the "O" grey column, each row of which represents the number of a specific shield among the six primary shields to collect. So the values "3, 19, 19, 2, 4, 0" in the "O" grey column for example indicate that to make a single "(D) Casserole 19/16/16", you must collect 3 (W) Buckler, 19 (W) Pelta, 19 (W) Targe, 2 (W) Circle, 4 (D) Circle and 0 (D) Casserole (thus, you must collect 6 (W) Buckler, 38 (W) Pelta, 38 (W) Targe, 4 (W) Circle, 8 (D) Circle and 0 (D) Casserole to make the two "(D) Casserole 19/16/16" needed, and the same principle applies for the other "main combined shields" that appear in the middle plans). A formula (that can be shown in the actual Excel file but not in a Google Drive's read mode it seems) uses the values in the grey columns to calculate the total requirement for each of the six primary shields by multiplying the value. Let me know if this is clear.
@@Vizuino Thanks for answering. So, if I understand right, there is actually no "straightforward" indication of how many times to perform each combination (like 172x (W) Pelta 0/10/0 + (W) Pelta 0/10/0 = (W) Pelta 0/16/0 ), rather an "oblique" indication deducted from both grey columns ( as the function to deduce the moltiplication from the data in the grey columns isn't shown in Google Drive's read mode, and in any other online excel reader I tried). So the AC column indicates the number of times I have to get the shield in the bottom row of each section of the middle section (as you explained) and the O column indicates the number of the six basic shields to collect to make each final combination for each section (so for example in the second section from the top of the middle section, to get to the 10 (W) Round 22/20/20 shields needed I'd have to first collect as basic drops 2 (W) Bucklers, 14 (W) Peltas, 14 (W) Targes, 3 (W) Circles and 0 of both (D) shields. AND I'd have to repeat each combination 10 times for that section. But what about the rightmost and the leftmost sections? The AC and O columns only seem to refer to the middle section (where most of the combinations seem to take place). Are they to be considered one time processes only? That doesn't seem to be the case, as I can see the (W) Targe 20/0/0 resulting from the first combination of the rightmost section repeated many times in the middle column. Or do I just have to deduce it from the number of times each combined "powered up" shield from the rightmost section's results appears in the middle column? I hope to have at least got a part of it correctly 😅
@@SiCkMiNiMaLsTyLe I think you got the idea. The first level combinations at the far right (like Targe 20/0/0 or Quad 0/19/19) must of course be repeated. The reason why I did not fill the AQ grey column is (IIRC) that certain combinations were too short (like only one or two lines) to fill six numbers without leaving unesthetic spaces between combinations. Besides, I tought it should be easier to just focus on making the middle shields one by one and checking the necessary primary combinations in the right whenever needed, rather than insctructions like "do this combination 176 times, then this one 92 times and so on" (that can be problematic to follow given the storage constraint). But if you want a similar structure, I can provide you the number of times each level one combination in the "Damascus Dread 13 games" tab needs to be repeated; so after a quick calculation (I may be mistaken): (W) Targe 20/0/0 should be made 44 times. (D) Targe 15/0/0 should be made 9 times. (W) Quad 0/6/6 should be made 5 times. (W) Quad 0/9/9 should be made 8 times. (W) Targe 0/15/15 should be made 63 times. (W) Targe 0/19/19 should be made 10 times. The final combinations plan in the far left is a one time process using ALL the shields made in the middle (plus basic Damascus Casserole shields).
@@Vizuino Thanks for taking the time to explain the plan to me. Now that I'm beginning to understand it, I think it's actually a pretty clever way of planning. Focusing only on making the middle shields to avoid the trap of making 38 (W) Targe 20/0/0 and then being unable to do anything with them... Thanks also for calculating the combinations of the rightmost column. Could you give me one last advice though? If I understood correctly from this video's decription the final objective of this plan should be filling the container with the full 32 shields, of which 12 are (W) Kite Shields 24/20/20, 8 are (W) Casserole 32/27/27 (but in the video I saw one with 32/28/28 and the other 7 were at 32/20/20, so I think the 32/27/27 is an ideal combination depending on the combination rating?), and 12 (D) Casserole shields you get from the 12 NG+ cycles. If so, then my objective would be to start combining to reach a (W) Kites 24/20/20 and to stop once I get one and begin the process anew till I build 12 of them. Then repeat the process to obtain those 8 (W) Casserole 32/27/27 and then, once I get those basic 13 (D) Circles and 12 (D) Casseroles I'm set, right? I then would only have to create 2 (D) Casserole 19/16/16 and 1 (D) Casserole 18/16/16 from the (D) Circle 15/0/0 "branch", correct? Ah also, I've made a quick calculation, and from my results for example I should make 4 (D) Targe 15/0/0, as I need the other 9 (D) Circle 15/0/0 for the combinations in the middle section, for a total of 13 (D) Circle shields 15/0/0 utilized.
@@SiCkMiNiMaLsTyLe As for the description of the video, I don't think it should be given too much consideration in your case as it might confuse you, given that I followed the guide from GameFAQs to make the shield in my save file (I conceived the Excel file containing the slight improvements afterwards). There is mention for example of (W) Kite shields but IIRC, I improved this plan by replacing the Kites by Rounds in my guide. As for a piece of advice that comes to mind, I think why not combine the (W) Round (without cluttering the container with too much other extra shields), then associate it with a (D) Casserole 20/0/0 as soon as possible in order to make a (D) Heater, then associating the latter with a Wooden or Damascus Casserole (made from the "middle" plans) as soon as possible to make the Oval then storing it. But truth be told it's been quite a while since I've played Vagrant Story, so take all of this with a grain of salt.
THE ONLY Dragons worth killing are the LV 60 ones that DIE from lv 5 death on disc 3 the Grand Dragons for exp/gil/AP farming.
I didn't bother I still had like 10 Wing Edges after throwing 3 of them to kill Ozma at lv 75 to 76 ON DISC 3 so I didn't bother to steal more OR hit lv 99.
Oh boy, 12:17. This happened to me in the Steam PC version but much worse. I left a male and female frog with the Golden Frog in the Mist Continent marsh. When I came back, the Golden Frog disappeared and the male and female frog reverted into tadpoles! I was pissed, I was reserving my 99th frog catch to be the Golden Frog. I checked the other marshes, the Golden Frog was not in the other marshes. I checked the forums and this was the 8th slot bug they were talking about. After letting one hour pass in game, the tadpoles became adults and there was one normal looking tadpole in the water. Funny how I was expecting a Golden Tadpole to appear... but anyway, still no Golden Frog in sight. I left the game running longer and checked every 30 minutes. There were more frogs and tadpoles spawning, but still no Golden Frog. After for 3 hours, I checked back again. The marsh was full of adult frogs now and the Golden Frog FINALLY appeared. This bug was so annoying but at least it wasn't permanent. You just need 3 hours worth of patience for the Golden Frog to come back. A redditor experienced this similar bug but s/he had to wait like 10 hours for the Golden Frog to spawn...
What must have happened is that the adult frog of the opposite gender to the golden frog was affected by the 8th slot bug (for example, the male adult frog was affected by the bug and the golden frog's gender is female, which make that the computer considers that there are only two female frogs left in the pond, which leads to a replacement by tadpoles). Anyway, if we suppose that the golden frog is not affected itself by the 8th slot bug, one should leave it with at least two other adult frogs of the opposite gender to ensure that it will not disappear.
Impresionante!!
I can't wait for episode 69 :)
I've already uploaded episode 69 (Ozma and Hades battles and few other stuff) and 70 (learning abilities completion and frog ponds setting) as unlisted videos few days ago (I generally publish them later after I finish writing the description). I'm going to post episode 69 in few hours today, but I'll wait two or three days before posting episode 70 (which is of lesser importance), so that the cutoff between episodes 70 and 71 isn't too long, because there are almost only very long tasks left and I don't know where to start: the Tetra Master quest cannot be started before maximizing draws and losses, the 90 million Gils collecting with turbo controller for items maximization can be included in one episode with timeskips but takes several days, the 300 Wing Edges and 99 Portect Rings farmings are bearable but take around 15 hours and 32 hours respectively, and the other tasks that I want/have to do manually, like 9999 draws/losses, 9999 steals and 9999 dragons killed, should take over 100 hours each. After finishing the previous manual tasks, I might go (if circumstances permit) for the 32767 frogs captured in parallel of waiting for the clock to reset in order to get the Excalibur II, publishing one short episode per day marking my progress in the number of frogs caught (reaching the 29994 Hot & Cold games should be achieved in the first weeks with the aid of the turbo controller by the way). That's it for the possible future of the challenge ;)
@@Vizuino 32767 Frogs , fun!
And I underestimated the difficulty of the task on top of that: thinking about it, if I only catch 20 frogs a day, I would manage to obtain Excalibur II before reaching that number.
I STILL recommend killing Grand Dragons ONLY.
I STILL recommend you don't worry about what enemies he kills if they are not Grand Dragons ONLY. There is a reason he is fighting Yans.
Except Yans can still kill you at lv 99 BEFORE Odin even goes off that's why Yan's are not worth it even Dagger herself at lv 99 COULD be killed AFTER Auto Life kicks in from Comet spells before Odin even shows up on screen that's why its best to kill Grand Dragons even at lv 75 and Odin CAN still kill Grand Dragons as well.
@@veghesther3204 You do realize your words are falling on deaf ears. Just stop. We level our characters in a specific way for perfect files, something you don't understand. Just stop.....just stop.
I'll never actually LV up Marcus EVER to lv 99 it takes too long but its still a bad idea to fight Yan's for all 99 lvs kill Grand Dragons instead for ALL 99 lvs.
He can level up his characters anyway he pleases. It's his playthrough, not yours.
Amazing stuff!!! #NAME? "promo sm".
I don't recommend fighting Yans at all just lv 5 death Grand Dragons for ALL 99 levels at lv 75 you still won't survive a 5000+ damage Comet and when the YANS use it I NEVER had it EVER miss.
Yans NOT worth fighting at all even on the PS4 the Infinite HP cheat is worthless lv 75 party members will NOT survive Comet's 5000+ damage AT lv 75 I still recommend killing Grand Dragons for ALL 99 lvs even AFTER Quina is at lv 99. Auto Haste/Life are USELESS Yans are still faster and even with Auto Life odds are they will still Comet you to death a 2nd time even BEFORE Odin shows up on screen to kill them.
ONLY kill Grand Dragons for ALL 99 lvs Yans even with a INFINITE HP cheat PS4 version at lv 75 can still KILL you in 1 hit 5000+ damage Comet spells and when the Yans use that spell I NEVER had it EVER MISS completely. Auto Haste/life are useless even at lv 99 Dagger they are still faster even with her auto hasted and its LIKELY party members will die a 2nd TIME immediately after Auto Life triggers making it still useless just KILL Grand dragons instead even at lv 75 with 4x Coral ring uses and Lv 5 death the Grand Dragons at lv 75+ can't really EVER kill you or at least NOT all at once.
THE ONLY ROBE of lords I got at this point are the ONES you MAKE yourself ie NOT the one that costs too much Chocobo points for it and I still had all party members at lv 75 by now so Lv 5 death Grand Dragons for ALL 99 lv ups even at lv 1 Yans are worthless even with a INFINITE HP cheat IE PS4 version at lv 75 they can still KILL you IN 1 hit 5000+ COMET damage and when the Yans USE it I NEVER had it miss at all.
Not only will I NEVER do a LV 1 game I'll still END disc 3 at lv 75 to lv 76 AND Ozma already killed.
looks like you got what you wanted gg
In reference to the cards obtained with the "arrows manipulation" trick in the 25 first minutes? yes because the trick is quite safe (the cards would not have been too difficult to obtain via Tetra Master anyway). I was particularly lucky with the arrows combination of Bahamut obtained in the previous epiosode, that was not allocated to the other cards obtained before (Bahamut is prioritary over the other cards in the 7 arrows category anyway), and the Alexander cards with 7 arrows obtained against Eidolon Master Leyra (which was not my primary goal) also proved useful. What is a bit time-consuming though is obtaining the Excalibur II card with a wanted arrows amount (obtained one with 6 arrows in the next episode, that I'll post in a few minutes once I've finished writing the description).
For both of these NOT WORTH IT.
I'll still never do a LV 1 game at all ie still end disc 1 lv 30 disc 2 around lv 40 and the rest of the game around lv 75 even BEFORE entering the final dungeon but Dagger/Eiko/Quina still suck just use Freya Steiner and Amarant's 9999 damage move Amarant and still do max damage WITHOUT LOSING 9999 gil in the process that and Gil toss kind of sucks in this game anyways.
I used these characters to pass quickly this portion of the game because it is convenient, as they have a decent amount of HP thanks to the training they did in the previous discs, at the contrary of Steiner and Amarant, who are still at level 1.
I still never do a lv 1 game and STILL had lv 75+ party members but Dagger/Eiko/Quina even at lv 99 still suck.
I'll NEVER do a LV 1 game but I'll NEVER be at lv 45 to lv 50 here EITHER. I'll still have lv 75 party members here Eiko Quina Dagger still suck bosses even at lv 75 still die faster from Steiner Freya Amarant doing 9999 damage EVERY turn.
been snap loving these, randomly came up in my recommended 3/4 weeks ago. keep up the grind 🔥
What were Eikos stat points after this!? I'm curious as I probably will never do this but I'm aware of the Marcus/Eiko stat glitch!!
Here are Eiko's stats when she joined the team (at level 1): Speed = 22; Strength = 28; Magic = 35; Spirit = 27; HP = 140; MP = 70; Magic Stones = 27.
@@Vizuino thank you!! Wow you made her OP!!
@@thevangsta9892 You are welcome. My goal is for her to have the following results (without equipment) at level 99 if you want to know: Speed = 43; Strength = 73; Magic = 89; Spirit = 48; HP = 6605; MP = 571 (753 if MP+10% and MP+20% are activated); Magic Stones = 81.

Cool👌🏻
I'll NEVER do a lv 1 game so I STILL had lv 75 party members here Vivi Amarant should NEVER FIGHT Ark EVEN At lv 75 their better off IN The Desert palace.
A level 1 playthrough is not that hard. You should give it a try. Vivi was chosen for the Oeilvert mission because I thought it was interesting to make the black mage interact with him.

Thanks, I bought quite a few Samsung CRTs because it's a fairly common brand in my country (compared to other more reputable brands like Sony) and I also happen to know the service code for this brand (in order to configure the geometry). I realize that I was very lucky to find this particular Samsung (Plano) model because it stands out from the others: it is neither too small nor too big (21 inches), it has its original remote control, it has an RGB/composite socket (even if I now use composite only because I realized that it is the most suitable for PS1 games), it has a jack socket allowing to use my headphones (with an extension cable) in order to hear Sound FX sounds that cannot be distinguished with the speakers (I noticed it in some FF9 screens for example), and above all, its geometry is so good that I didn't have to adjust it with the service menu (which is rare with Samsung CRTs and flat screen CRTs in particular).

help me friend, it turns out that I completed all the cards with 180 games and with 1365 collector points, it turns out that I did not want to stay there knowing that a perfect game requires 1700 collector points, I gave myself the task of playing games to improve the status of the cards, but I reached 300 games and I was surprised that it was still at the same 1365 collector points (nothing went up with 100 games of tetra master) ... that frustrated me and I decided to look for data on this personal challenge. .. It turns out that initially I understood (the subject of arrows for the master level is very confusing) that to reach the maximum collector level I had to have cards without arrows (very complicated but I played up to 400 tetra master games and instead of raising my level dropped to 1355 !! which bothered me a lot haha) and the last strategy I saw is that I could raise all 100 cards to level A, but I don't know if this is correct. I want to ask you how is the best way since I have 220 games thrown and I cannot move forward ... PLEASE HELP
from what I see in your game, don't the dates matter? it doesn't matter if they have 1, 2,3, 4 or none? From what I noticed all your cards are type A ... Can you explain to me if this makes it reach 1700 points? thanks friend
Hello, To reach 1700 cards "CollectorLV" points: * You need to collect 100 cards (one of each type) with unique arrows combinations, meaning that your cards collection must contain 100 different arrows combinations among the 256 different arrows combinations that exist in FF9 (and the number of arrows does not matter); * You need to upgrade the Attack Type stat (the second character from the left on a card's face) of all the 100 cards collected to "A" (according to the ULTIMANIA guide, a card, whether it is played by the player or the opponent, and whether it is the attacking card in a cards battle or the defending one, has 1/64 chance to upgrade its Attack Type stat from "P" or "M" to "X", and 1/128 chance to upgrade its Attack Type stat from "X" to "A"). I recommend to play games against "Fat Chocobo" if you want to upgrade the Attack Type to "A" of your weakest cards, while I recommend to play games against "Trude" in Dali's windmill if you want to upgrade the Attack Type of your other cards. Good luck.
@@Vizuino However, the card Hades can be only obtained from two npc. So the training of that specific card may be done against these npc, I suppose.
@@fokxu4641 Hello, My recommendations of palying against Trude or Fat Chocobo applies only once all the 100 cards are collected, and of course, by the end of the 100 cards collecting phase (that should require playing against a lot of NPCs), few cards among the 100 should have reached an "X" or "A" as an Attack type (and Hades or another strong card may be part of these few cards if used often in the collecting phase).
