The smiler is so fun

Torn between the front and the back both are amazing in their own way.

I am always very impressed with ride operators as they do check seat belts and restraints very diligently. The most recent time I was at six flags though I was writing the mine train and that being a very old ride and having manual restraint releases and as far as I know not very many sensors the ride was able to depart without one of the restraints being locked. Thankfully the person in the ride started shouting and screaming and they were able to stop the ride and sure the restraint was locked and then started it back up again. I did not say anything to guest relations but maybe I should have as that could have been extremely dangerous. That being said the person could have also just pulled down their restraint him and fine as every other restraint on the ride was locked and it was their fault for not pulling it down.

The Titan has the best seat belts on planet Earth. I love them. They are the claw looking type where you need to depress on brass pieces on each side and then they will unlock. They seem far more secure than the types that are much like cars used to have in the '90s or the ones where you need to hole and rotate the top part from the bottom also similar to older car seat belts. I feel like the claw type mechanism on the Titans seat belts are far more secure and I have tested them quite extensively even if you were to press down on one side of the release button and put pressure on the other side both need to be fully depressed for it to release.

Pandemonium is an extremely fun ride but is also extremely boring at the same time. I don't know how to describe it but the ride is extremely variable. I have found that riding it with 2 riders instead if 4 in the position where 2 riders are face to face on one side greatly increases the spin on the ride. Pandemonium is just missing something and if it was a bit longer, had an inversion or had a section that automatically rotated the roders quickly would add the needed intensity to the ride.

I am guessing the Titan was also made by intiman as the cars look extremely similar. The ride ops at six flags over Texas carry around blocks on that ride and they use them to measure the lap bars to make sure that they are in the proper position. I have never had them need to use the block on me but I believe they place it on the seat and if the lap bar does not contact it then you're not allowed to ride. It is crazy how a block of wood can increase safety. No matter how many of these videos I watch showing roller coaster disasters it will not stop me. I love roller coasters too much and if I could I would ride them constantly without stopping. I do that frequently enough as for some reason six flags has been dead for 2 years and most of the time with myself being a single rider if I wait for the gates to close and see an open seat it is quite easy too hot back on and ride again without even waiting for a train to cycle. I have never had a right operator say anything to me so I assume it is fine with their operating procedures.

The Superman's cars look very similar to the Titans and seem to have a very similar restraint. I guess this must be a intimamen ride then. I love the new texas giant and mr freeze but I definitely think titan is the best ride in the park. The only thing that could make the titan better would be at least one inversion. It makes me sad that six flags is struggling financially as I do everything I can to support them. Actually I might do the opposite as I go to six flags using my season pass at least once a week sometimes twice a week so I am probably part of the reason why they are going bankrupt. That being said they sell me a season pass and I like riding roller coasters so what else do they expect me to do. Hopefully one of these days something will fail on a ride that I am on and I can be a casualty on one. I don't think there is a better way that you could exit this world than being in the process of riding a roller coaster. I would consider it to be like the astronaut that passed away recently crashing his plane. That's the way he wanted to go. I am diabetic so they will not let me fly a plane so a roller coaster is about as close as I can get besides skydiving and all of my friends are pussies and refuse to go skydiving with me. If I were ever to die on a roller coaster I would request that my family not pursue charges but have the park provide a grave plot within it where there would be a gravestone with my name that said he died doing what he loved. It would be a great addition during fright fest and fit in woth much of the scenery.

On rollercoasters a block zone is a section of ride that only one train may occupy at a time. At the end of a block zone there is a method to stop the train, in case the block zone ahead is still occupied. This is the safety system that prevents rollercoaster trains from colliding with one another.

I definitely am still fearful when going on rollercoasters I used to be shit scared of them too I go to Alton towers a lot tho with having a Merlin pass and I recently only went on rides the last two times I went the first time I could only go on the wickerman without being scared but second time I went on the wickerman then the Rita and I was basically over my fear I still don’t feel to well in lines like in the smiler I almost cried in the line but I overall loved the ride it was the funnest thing I’ve ever done

I think I remember seeing somewhere that guardians of the galaxy cosmic rewind costed about 500million dollars, but I'm not sure

That also included the demolition and scrapping of the world’s only dueling B&M inverts: Dragon Challenge, the plot of land for which Hagrids now occupies. Not to mention the insane marketing campaign Universal did for Hagrids. Commercials and ads for over a year isn’t cheap, and it was all rolled into the overall cost = $300M TOTAL, not just for the coaster itself, which was apparently still over $100M

I had my phone out on Beast for the lifthill and then as soon as I heard a mic noise I made my phone fly into my pocket. Never get your phone out on a ride, they will either get security to escort you out or will grab your phone and have it ready for you after the ride.

Actually, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is said to be even more expensive with about a half of a billion dollars. Great video though!

The smiler crippled some women on the ride, empty cars were on the track which they smashed into and got hurt as a result. I then went to Alton towers a few years after this incident as part of a secondary school trip and went on the smiler and left in one piece. Oh the memories.

fun fact about the ride of the smiler (showed in the first clip of the vid) it was a ride that had issues before and sometime after the issue they added a 5th train on the ride, and they accidently put a train onto a running ride that had no people on the train tho. they didnt know they started the first train so they added another train on the ride while the first train was still going and was stopped at some point on the ride, the 2nd train was going with some passengers and when they were going up the ride it stopped and they thought there was a train while it was going and they didnt see it so they turned the ride back on after the ride was going the 1st train was stopped and the 2nd train ran straight into it. 2 people lost there legs because of this

Alton Towers' biggest problem is the people who consistently move into the village each year and then complain there's a theme park, it's noisy, and there's a lot of people.
