where did I say that 😅
Lp you are a brilliant ict student keep up the good work "consistent and patient executioner" .Thanks a lot for sharing it really helped.
You can share your jounral by chance LP?

very nicely explained I like how you went through each part of the trade and how your feelings about the trade progressed as it moved on but I have one question you speak about not seeing a gap to be filled or not seeing a range to be traded back into, could you expand a little more on when these cases are present?
whenever the market is poised to go higher, you don't want gaps to be filled. Preferably even not traded to
first time i saw lp scared
@nekonesto3125 When we do things in environments we are not the sharpest in, new feelings can introduce themselves into our trading. I did the best I could to manage them by audibly managing my emotions to filter out the toxicity in my thoughts.
Was long your daily bias? If so when is trading against your bias permissible in your opinion?
@@nekonesto3125 whenever we get to a premium and need to seek discount
@nekonesto3125 my bias was long from the morning, but what I wanted to see was not present this morning
also about the breaker framework when the breaker is formed after price enters a discount and shorts are no longer high quality is great
great video, i also struggle with sometimes longing in a bigger time frame premium and i started to watch out for that recently and i notice that even the trades that did work in a premium they were always lower quality than the ones in discount
You got so deep understanding of the concept.... could u elaboarte the point discussed on time stamp17:41. Thank u for sharing
@aakashkatoch1 Thank you. The breaker formations that are turtle soups are best to look for when they create market maker sell models. However, aay you are bearish, if you spot a htf key level with a ltf stop rin forming a breaker, you need to understand of that breaker is formed completely inside a premium, giving price easy ability to displace underneath it, or if it is formed partly at a discount giving price less ability to displace towards sellside liquidity.
Thank you brother that truly does help; so in summary: pay more attention to long in a higher timeframe discount or short in a higher timeframe premium especially after a opposing liquidity raid using breakers. Let me know if I missed something or got it wrong
Exactly. Make sure you know where your breaker is forming and it is in a discount to where you want to trade. That makes the breaker higher probability.
even though this video was a personal log, i honestly enjoyed seeing your thought process over a portfolio and you well you realize mental faults i aspire to have your level of recognition of my self mentally one day 🙌
@@OD_ICT Thank you. Recognition means nothing if we don't act on it though, and the time to act is now.
Could you maybe make a short video on how where the best places to put a SL are and how to squeeze out the most RRR?
@nekonesto3125 I try to stay away from such videos but this is a good idea. I am planning on aiming for more RR going forward using less leverage, so I may just make one this week.
@@lptrades6304 that would be amazing. I sometimes have trades where im correct on my daily bias but get liquidated before price spools to my DOL. maybe you could explain how far price likes to retrace, what PD arrays to look for and what to ignore and maybe when price likes to head for the dol during the day
@@lptrades6304i noticed i got wicked out often even though my daily bias is correct. Perhaps if you could teach how far price usually likes to retrace, what pd arrays it will respect in a retracement and which ones it wont and perhaps when price will reach and spool towards the DOL. I would be indebted to you
@nekonesto3125 send some examples on discord LPTrades
@@lptrades6304 i definitely will later when im at home approximately 7 am ny time
Also, if the DOW reaches our suspected DOL first, you consider it a low probability?
yes
@@lptrades6304 thank you for teaching us brother
The nasdaq, since its a tech index, leads the moves. Why dont we trade the SnP (slower one) then we can see what the sentiment is beforehand?
@nekonesto3125 we can trade the snp but the nq will always lead and move more because more money flows into tech than it does into the entities weighted in the snp. nq is heavily weighted into tech
it’s also because first of all the s&p is not always a reflection of what the nasdaq did, it’s more of a tandem with it and sometimes the s&p and nasdaq have some cases where they move opposite to each other. it’s not like the dollar with eur/usd if ur getting mixed up with that idea. also, when they do move in tandem it’s usually a couple of seconds difference between the reflected moves so that wouldn’t be possibly to do it precisely. if it did work like that then everyone would be a millionaire
@@OD_ICT all you need is a 51% consistency
Happy birthday LP! I wish you the best

i noticed only the first quarter of daily FVG's got filled the last few weeks. Could it be if market is strongly trending, that only the quarter is likely to be filled?
@nekonesto3125 yeah the less time price spends and area price trades to when filling a fvg or any pd array is a sign that it was to run higher.

@nekonesto3125 there are still a plethora of opportunities from here to the end of our careers

@@lptrades6304 well bounce back bro
I had a feeling we might drop to fill that weekly BISI
I saw a weekly BISI i anticipated to be filled, but it really kinda filled it only about a quarter. Would u count a fvg like that as filled?
@nekonesto3125 no, a portion of it is still a breakaway gap. Also, where are the bodies? However keep in mind that we do not need to fill it before going higher. the less we fill the more bullish price usually is.
Dow dropping, SnP consolidating and nasdaq rising was diabolical
@@nekonesto3125 yeah poor conditions
why are you shorting @19880 when you wrote that buyside liquidity is above?
@glennchiam4476 because we were above midnight open, and as a default, I always short above midnight open and buy below midnight open. I knew my model wasn't likely going to come into play, and anything I did, I wouldn't be comfortable with. That's why I traded with a paper account on a stream. Essentially, I was trying to force my model by using it as a pattern, and I fully understood I'd likely lose.
I appreciate your comment by the way. This isn't something I should have done. I knew I wasn't taking this trade to make money but realized I only took it to try to show off and it was irresponsible of me. For future live stream, it will be strictly tape reading and no paper trading at all.
@@lptrades6304 yeah don’t cultivate bad habits even if demo trades. Also, it doesn’t mean that if price is above midnight open means it’s a short. Understand the HTF Narrative which is bullishness. To add on, Smart Money already unseated trailed sell stops below 19,760.50 so anytime before a significant run higher, anticipate a hunt of sell stops which it has done.
technically there is always liquidity on both sides
