Very well sat. Superb horsemanship.
It frustrates me so fully that random commenters decide from a minute long video that they know your horse, why it's acting like that, and that you're so clearly horrible. This horse is so obviously fresh and excitable, but very well cared for as you've explained. I hope your gorgeous horse is doing well ❤
What a lovely mare! Well done!
Great rider 👍
The rider looks so comfy 😂 😮 It's really impressive
What a great interview, well done, thanks so much to both of you.
Thank you very much, appreciate your feed! Be sure to subscribe unlike the video to help spread the word
And I would like to see how good he does on Virgil, or The Black Tie………horses that are born to buck! 😊 Personally, I would say this horse is just doing a little crow hop!
Stunning horse!!! Love the training hedge!
Growing up, I was told that the horses who are the best jumpers have the biggest bucks! As everyone is saying, excellent seat... Very impressive! Wishing you and Donald the best!
well. He certainly healed up nicely. lol
Awesome rider but how do you get the horse to stop doing this?! I hate it when my OTTB does this because I'd like to be able put beginners on him.
Nice Fred! You're such a brilliant horseman.
Thank you
Only complaint I have is all the crap in the arena. Once it was obvious the horse was a bit worked up, the rider should have stopped and removed anything that could hurt the horse or himself if either fell.
Look at his gear and how the horses head is
Your seat is brilliant! 🔥 Maybe the saddle to much forward.
poor guy! why was he on box rest so long?? only hand walking or what? what kind of turnout does it get
Wow, you must have super glue on the seat of your pants. Very impressed!
Get off and do the ground work that should have been done.
Ride em cowboy Scala.. V Impressive !
beautiful.. effortless and very ridable comes back to the rider nicely!
That guy can ride!!! Amazing balance and poise. His body never even moved…well done!!!!
............okay but did you lunge it.. or was it not allowed to be lunged? im asking the comments because im dumb lol not to judge you. nice seat btw DANG I couldve used a seat like that a few times XD
Nearly perfect riding and what beauty of a horse
Wow
did he do any groundwork with the horse before saddling the horse? Is it a good idea to directly go back to saddle with this bucking horse before doing sufficient ground work?
He was pulling so hard poor horse
Want a really good seat ride Bareback alot. I rode bareback alot of basically nothing can make me fall out the saddle. I stay glued to the saddle. Even when my horse was doing little rears and Napping and running forward i never moved and that was bareback
Same
I think you handled that amazingly! Eventers seem to always have the best stickability
I love this ride .. this horse is so happy to be out and the rider is perfect . 💕
I love that you’re taking your time with him! Too many people rush their young horses. I have a very athletic, talented 3 year old I’m bringing along (slowly), so this has been very educational, thank you for sharing. I also really loved the way you so tactfully handled his freshness and didn’t make a big deal of it.
I need to learn how to sit a horse from this guy.
She is overbent. And for only being 5 years old that is too much. She is not engaged enough in her haunches and lifting her back to be that bent. This is incorrect and incomplete training.
Thank you for your wisdom. You are welcome to come and ride her and show me your methods. Please get in touch if you wish to make a visit. I would be happy to take a video and post it for you so that I can help spread the word of the correct method.
@@fsequine1 Hahaha Perfect, sadly I think I shall have to wait an eternity to see the video of the "correct method"! She looks a lovely mare, I do love a proper bright chestnut , I hope she finds a lovely home :)
That is a big chap. What is the breeding?
The horse is like get off my back human asshole! Humans are so arrogant. Their assumption is animals are theirs to force to do anything they want. This was no willing partnership, that’s for sure.
This was a really interesting video and what a super horse x.
obviously a sensitive soul with bags of scope. He's going to be one of those that always likes a buck and a bounce.
Love this! Thank you for sharing
What an expressive and joyful horse. And well sat by the way.
For anyone that enjoyed this video, you can see this stallion’s progress in the arena here ruclips.net/video/RBGHyeQp6d0/видео.htmlsi=TDj6cAAiQKnobQEY
I love how you teach them confidence and enable them to enjoy their job - also wait until he's 4 to begin jumping - beautiful horse and ride!!
Thanks for this Fred. That's a lovely stallion you have there! 😊 xOx
Thank you!
Love this! Thanks for sharing. And I’m so glad to see a pro out of breath after a course, It is work!
You are so welcome! Lots more coming to my channel! Have you seen this one? ruclips.net/video/62Tr5SKbX5E/видео.htmlsi=eR8qZm0h0nqTgA_h

I just subbed beautiful horse
Thanks for subbing!
He/she made that look easy!! 😍
Thank you!
He's beautiful! So well balanced already ❤
Thank you
I love how calmly you handled that, exactly how youngsters should be introduced to new scary things ❤👏
Thank you
Cool horse😊
Thank you, he’s a home bred. He will make someone a super little horse to compete
Wow 18 months in a stall. How loving and kind of you. Great horse ownership. Bet the cribbing this horse does is off the charts
Assuming you know what you’re talking about, what would you suggest for a highly stung athlete with major ligament damage? Anything except very careful and limited exercise would result in further damage and therefore lifelong lameness. Thankfully this horse returned to top level competition making the Olympic squad long list and is aiming for his first 5* at the end of the year. And no, he doesn’t crib, he just loves cuddles. 😊👍
@fsequine1 I encourage you to look up painted desert ranch on RUclips, go to their Playlist called Czar and watch the videos of his injury and recovery. He was never locked away in a stall experiencing solitary confinement and he maintained his ability to actually be a horse during/despite his injury. It's not good to keep horses indoors in a BOX for 16 months is all I'm saying. Being locked away changes humans why the f wouldn't it change animals too
It sounds like your imagining box rest to be some sort of solitary confinement, your mistaken. Box rest consists of the horse resting to avoid further injury, this doesn’t mean he is locked in a stable for the duration. Horses on box rest are given as much time out of the stable as possible by way of hand walking and hand grazing. It’s a painstaking and often dangerous task as often competition horses are explosive when not in full training. I’m sure you would be surprised if you spent some time on a yard the amount of care that goes into the horses. Rather than trying to save the world one shitty RUclips comment at a time, perhaps you should get off the sofa and go volunteer in a professional environment so you learn a few things. If you want an opinion it might be worth at least knowing what terms like “Box rest” mean before wrongly assuming.
@@fsequine1Did you make it to Paris?
Rhythmical and effortless. Horse isn't bad either !
Thank you!
