This ministry is FREE & ALWAYS WILL BE! Just as Jesus is the FREE 🎁 we don’t deserve! 🙏
You have the freedom, right and I expect you to REBUKE me at any time. We all need it! I know I can NEVER teach perfectly & I do get scared sometimes that God will be mad at me for doing it wrong. But I've had conversations with him and Master J & it just doesn't feel right to sit around and do nothing after they literally saved me from a DUMPSTER TRUCK of sin out of nowhere, without asking, & without seeking them.
I acknowledge Jesus as the Son of God. I confess him as Lord and believe in my heart he rose from the dead. I also like to call him Master J and Rabbi Y sometimes. Not going to lie! ;-)
----------
Isaiah 1:18 - “Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the Lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool."

Hebrews 6:4-7 - NOT a Loss of Salvation
quantum what? I want to know more about this the science behind it. Also, what’s the question? (your shirt)
quantum what?? 😂 I want to know more about this. What you just described….about His love flowing from us….it was feeling that in other I first understood and felt His love. I’d love to hear the science behind it
@@JesusIsYourOnlyHope Quantum PHOTON entanglement. Photons are particles of light. Which I think is the electromagnetic light that God created on the first day. Because Photons don’t have an opposite. So if God separated the light in the dark darkness… That’s why there is outer darkness, not in his presence. And of course, on the fourth day of creation was the sun and the stars… the actual light that we see.
did you say you didn’t go to church? It is so cool to see how much wisdom the Lord has poured out into you. He literally made up for all the time you missed not being in his presence.
@@JesusIsYourOnlyHope Well…I do go sometimes now…but I church hop to see different styles of preaching. I will prolly never be a 1 ⛪️ goer. I wasn’t raised in the faith or go went to church once growing up. Just had a wake up call overnight last October that was pretty intense. Like a light switch really
Amen! He’s the cornerstone so we can BUILD upon it!
Iowa? 😮 why are you wearing short sleeves? If it drops below 65 in Florida you can we are freezing 😂
Hey Frank, I appreciate your videos. I agree that we are saved by the faith of Christ alone. Nothing that we can do can get us into heaven. One thing that I have been thinking is that God wants us to stand out away from the world and point people to him. I don't think we can do that unless our works represent what Christ stands for. I don't think that we are saved by works but in order to follow Christ and show gratitude for him, we need to practice work. What are your thoughts?
@@josephbacon303 I agree! Why I think James chapter 2 has been taught wrong. “ faith without works is dead”. If we know that our works have been cursed by God since the beginning … then logically that would tell me that we should be trying to find every reason not to endorse works based salvation rather than easily falling into the trap of how we naturally want to focus on our own works. If that makes sense. James chapter 2 … as I’ve seen most pastors do in the modern nature church say things like. "It is faith alone in Christ…BUT… works a complementary of your faith”. Well…my question about James 2 would be “ who is James challenging to do better works… and before whom?” he’s challenging them to show him their works to prove their faith. Which is exactly what you said in your comment. If you were to tell me that you were Christian and you were out drinking, going to strip clubs, condemning people or not forgiving them… should I really expect you to be a follower of Christ? Believing in your heart is always referred to in front of God. As in David was a man after God’s own heart. And in John 6:28-29…. Literally from Jesus’s own mouth he said that the only work we need to do to be saved is to believe on the one that God sent. Like I don’t know how more clear it gets than that from Jesus‘s own mouth. Does God want us to go to work for him? Yes. That’s evident day one in the garden when he gave us a choice to obey him or not. And our works were cursed ever since then because we chose wrong. Do you think God wants us to do works to gain something from him or that we believe in his goodness so much that we wanna go to work for him? P.S. - There is a link in my profile description for "FAV RUclips Preachers" that have really helped me out the last year understand scripture better. Hope this helps! P.S.S. - Next time someone says or implies you have to do any works to gain or maintain your salvation...be like, "No. I do works for God because I love him and I choose to...not because I have to." See how they respond! ha
@FrankAndSenseDSM Great question at the end. I feel like God wants us to do good because we trust in his goodness so much. That said, I believe that both are true. I believe that when we do works for God that we are also benefited. I truly believe that our relationship with God benefits both parties (mustly us). Even though we do get benefits from doing God's work, that should be our desire for doing the work.

He pours out His Spirit on all flesh in the latter times! I’m not saying this song is Holy Spirit filled but if the lyrics produce life and not death- who are we to judge who God uses and chooses to grace with His love. @ so true. The Bible is so living and active. When I first became a believer I felt like I would read verses that years later I would read again and see something completely different than I initially failed to see! The multifaceted wisdom of God is mind blowing!
@@Alisonpack Agreed. Just in this year of me being a believer. Gods been showing me & my rabbit hole research brain things & I’m like “Whoaaa!” Theres so much symbolism in the Bible. Which is just evident of God giving us ways to connect to him via the physical world. and this is what I would like to say about this - It doesn’t matter what we feel, it matters what the word says. The word says, there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus!! And ever since then I’ve been able to tear through scripture, make connections…pray all the time, cry…pretty much have 0 idea what I’m doing. 😂. But every single step the last year…I cant stop thinking about Master J. And I wasnt searching for him at all, nor was praying. He just came! It was like a tap on my forehead while I was sleeping off a hangover overnight. And just woke up next morning…and bam! It started. #truth
@ I learned that the stone of stumbling and rock of offense talks about people like you. Those who are in church and think they know everything are doomed. I’ve been in church all my life and born again 25yrs - only alive in the holy spirit fire this year! The bible has literally come alive off the pages! Love this testimony 🤗
@@JesusIsYourOnlyHope I've been watching your videos and a lot more out there. God is waking ppl up outside the church. I've seen it. Some unlikely characters I think! I would say that a lot in the church now aren't awake...and I don't think they are doomed. In Revelation there is a "great multitude" coming out of it. And when it comes to the rapture...I think some are going that some don't think are, and some that don't go..that will be their wake up call. Our God is a God of judgement yes, but judgement isn't without mercy & grace (if it's wanted I suppose). I truly don't think we will ever understand how loving God is until we're in his presence felt. And "fear & trembling" is what Daniel, Paul or any of the ppl in his presence. The power of his love coursing through the darkness of the sin in their blood...and shaking them to the core. Like a fear of not being around someone who loves you that much ever again! And thank you for the testimony comment. I've been sitting on it for about a year. I do have a list of some good RUclips evanhelists if you ever want the list. They've helped me out a TON! Franks again! 🙏
@ 💯 agree with every word!!!! My own husband doesn’t think His return will be in his lifetime. 😅 So many people are afraid to believe it’s true bc what you won’t understand is that as kids the rapture was weaponized against us. TERRIFIED us. 🤣
@ Yes. I agree. Although I want raised in the faith…I witnessed ppl inside the faith all my life lack any spiritual zeal because of erroneous teachings. But another part of the great falling away… Not people falling away from their faith, but maybe the reasons why they did. And that’s what I don’t think teachers realize.. everyone’s so quick to point their finger at somebody else about them walking away… But they might be walking away because someone taught them horribly. I have a video on around 1945 & World War II is when I think everything started to change for 🇺🇸. That’s when the falling away really started to kick in…especially in the 60s and 70s. And it’s really gonna be up to us millennials to push hard for Master J honestly. “The Millennial Kingdom”. I know its 1000 years long but our generation is 🔑 I think! 🙏

Thanks man. Glory to God! I just don't think people today understand what forces we're battling against out there..as well as other people. But in the end times...God said he will pour out his spirit on all flesh. And when he starts doing that...it makes sense to me it will wake up some people outside of the modern day church who aren't tainted by 2000 years of human ritualistic church teachings that are contradictory to the words of the Bible or directly form Jesus's own mouth. I literally just went back and forth with a guy yesterday about how he says we as mere humans can UNSEAL the seal of redemption in Ephesians 4. And I'm like...."Say what now?" It's astonishing to me how the devil is so good at what he does...and that's why I'm going to keep praying for him and his homies. They are just lost spirits man and they need a FRUG! 🫂
We are still required to follow God's law. When Jesus died on the cross for the forgiveness of sins, he was then able to provide everything that his chosen ones would need to live a holy life. He was able to send the Holy Spirit, who has the power to conquer the flesh in human beings so that we can live truly righteous lives. We also receive a new heart with God’s laws written on it so that we can live in obedience to God's laws. This is what it means to be born again. We are transformed when Jesus forgives us for our sins. Anyone who has not been converted has not yet been forgiven. If they were, the evidence of their transformation would be obvious to them and to others who know them. Collosians 2:11 describes being born again: "In Him (Jesus) also you were circumcised with a circumcision not made with hands, but in a [spiritual] circumcision [performed by] Christ by stripping off the body of the flesh (the whole corrupt, carnal nature with its passions and lusts)." God's grace does not free us to sin. It frees us from sin.
Can you follow Gods law perfectly?
You need to get your story straight. The serpent wasn't trying to trick Adam. It was the serpent that told the TRUTH about not dying from the tree of knowledge. Also, any religion that celebrates faith over truth and knowledge... is a false cult.

Great lesson! Thanks for sharing! Interestingly, I just spoke with a friend who spent over an hour trying to provoke me. He mentioned “The Epic of Gilgamesh” and “The Book of Enoch”. I haven't read either of them, but he shared that the first flood happened long before Noah and that we were created and allowed to live because of the Nephilim and watchman, or something like that. He also commented on how we all share the same gifts and speak to God. No one person is more gifted than the other. My point in sharing is that I happened to check your channel out for the first time and you say you've made a lengthy video on the flood and also, the importance of leading non-belivers to God. (This guy says he believes in God btw). Well, I tried to reason with him and explain my beliefs and he kept on poking at me in an insulting manner. I hung up and blocked him. Maybe that is just the message he needed to hear tonight- a dial tone 😂😂😂 Please forgive me where I fall short Lord 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
OMG! I have the Epic of Gilgamesh on my desk right now to finish & have gone through the Book of Enoch many times! Also have the Ethiopian Bible by my bed as well (which Enoch is in it). I think we should stick to The Bible as we know that is Gods words. But God doesn't reveal everything to us he knows...only want he wants us to know. He's kind of the like the REAL News...and not the FAKE news that everyone keeps saying in politics. HA! The Ark & The Darkness is on RUclips for free. Lots of evidence for the Flood. It's on my description for my channel as well. But I think the whole "gifts" thing is just indication of diversity! Rev. 7:9-12 - "I saw a huge crowd, too huge to count. Everyone was there-ALL nations and tribes, ALL races and languages."
@ That is strange! He also mentioned the Ethiopian Bible. I'm not familiar with any of these. I'd love to hear your thoughts on them and whether they are something I should read. I will look into the video; thank you! I believe this friend's comments were based on ignorance. He doesn't know scripture and speaks from his arrogance. Not all people are of God and can speak back and forth with him, nor do we share the same gifts. I wasn't going to argue with him because I already knew this, lol. John 3:10: "By this it is evident who are the children of God, and who are the children of the devil: whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor the one who does not love his brother." Romans 12:6-21 NLT. “In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well.”
Another weird question, but isn't choosing to have faith in Christ a work?
@@josephbacon303 Ahhhhh. John 6:28-29. God covered that with Jesus own words!!! 💪
Also...if you go to the "About" section on my profile. I have 5 really good channels I've watched a lot of videos on. They good! At least I think so.
@FrankAndSenseDSM Sorry, this is more of me just processing this scripture. It talks about the works of God being believing in Christ. So we can interpret that our works don't save us, but the work of God saves us. (Am I right so far?) I would also think that all the commandments of God are the works of God if faith in Christ is God's work. So that leaves me to believe that following the commandments of God would also cause us to be saved. Did I misinterpret the scriptures somewhere? What are your thoughts?
@@josephbacon303 JESUS is the Law. Jesus said, "I am the Law of Moses!" And I think in John 6:28-29....WE or humans are always focused on what we must do...or our "works"...so when they asked that in John 6...Jesus's answer was more like, "Holy moly people! Stop focusing on yourselves and what you must do or work for. I made i teasy in the beginning by just creating you in paradise. Choice and sin messed that up. but if you're so worried about what "works" of God you must do for eternal life...here's the only (1) I require. BELIEVE on Jesus. Now...I hope you would go to work for me after that because you choose to...NOT because you have to (because you've had FREE WILL since the beginning that was used to disobey or not trust me)." The 3 most powerful words in the Bible...."IT IS FINISHED!" John 19:30 Everything that led up to that last moment when Jesus said that was to get him to that point. Everything he taught, everything he said, everything he was asked, etc etc. And when he said those words....I JUST FULFILLED my fathers "work" he wanted of me. To give the rest of you the way back to God. And it is by BELIEVING on me!" Also....are your works more valuable for God when go up to Jesus and say, "Hey, I do believe on you but still, look what I did!" Thats still boasting. Or..."Jesus. Thank you for creating me. Thank you for loving me. I love you too! I tried to do good works after believing on you. I know I'm not perfect or did it perfectly. But I chose to do the "works of God" because I KNOW it was the right thing to do...NOT because I had to." Because God didn't require much of us in the beginning to just exist in Paradise. Why would he require much of us to go back to it?
Shave it off
My beard?! NOT a Chance! It's like a lions mane! As in Jesus is the Lion of Judah! 🙏
Hey Frank, I remembered the first time Christ entered my heart. I was 16, and my family had me come to church. I remember sitting in the pews and thinking about if I really believed everything that the speaker was talking about. As I started focusing, I noticed he was talking about the parable of the mustard seed. He said that no matter where we are or how strong our faith in Christ is, we can restart and grow our faith again. That sunk deep into my heart, and I knew that even if I felt like my testimony was shaky, I could learn about the love of Christ again. I can look back and see that my faith has grown like a Mustard seed. Thank you for taking the time to share this video and remind me of my walk with Christ.
Your welcome! And God most certainly works in mysterious ways. Sometimes I wonder if I actually did acknowledge Jesus as Lord years ago in my early 20's when I woke up from a dream and started reading the Bible. If I did make that confession...I don't remember. HA! But...he came into my heart, body and soul like a straight up Ninja with a Sword of Fire last October. No joke! And just sliced and diced LOTS of sin out of me. But the mustard seed parable is SO powerful! I've seen soo many people live in fear because teachers nowadays say, "You need to put your FULL trust in Jesus" to be saved. I'm like..."Uhhh what? NO! That's not what Jesus said bro. He said mustard SEED...not TREE. It is only a small faith, time, patience and trust that Master J will help you grow it into a tree that hopefully produces fruit." It really bothers me now (2000 years later) when ppl prohibit someones growth in faith or even the start with malarky like "FULL trust"..when in fact we have verses like Romans 5:20...or even Jude 1:19-24 that clearly state we NEED to be gentle with ppls wavering faith towards the end. If they are wanting to come to the faith or are struggling get going...we help them, we DO NOT put so much pressure on them they want to give up. That gets me fired up!!
Amen! God bless you, brother!
God bless you as well!! 🙏
@ ❤️❤️❤️
@ After as much evidence of biblical events have been given to the ignorant, why are people still consistently denying those facts and being delusional?
@ Hey. I was lost for a long time. And I needed someone to smack me. God and master Jay did it last October. But in my faith walk, I always keep in the back of my head Ephesians 6:12. Satan wants us to point other people and be like, “Why cant they figure it out like I did?” When in fact, we know that we’re all battling against things out of this world. I think that’s why we’re supposed to pray for our enemies because we know that we’re praying for them for something they don’t know they’re battling against. Or not even trying to. Like in the book of Jude…” the Lord rebuke you”. As archangel, Michael said to the devil!
John 4:14 King James Version 14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. Also, Paul writes. Ephesians 4:30 King James Version 30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Let God be true, and every man is a liar. You can never lose your salvation. God bless.
@@Robert.S.. Exactly! I’m new to all this, but simple logic would tell me that if anybody could lose their salvation, then no one could be assured of it. Or assured of their loved ones salvation. And as we naturally want to rely on our own works for salvation… If we weren’t assured of our salvation, then we would rely on our works again as some do still. Ugggggh! Why do ppl make it hard on other ppl?! Oh wait, we all do at times! 🤭. He always has been and always will be Jesus! 🙏
It means “book” in Greek, you absolute boot. No one was speaking English in this timeframe.
Yep. In Greek. NOT Latin. Oops! But more so the fact of Babylon vs. Biblion! Crazy right?! God and Master J are AWESOME!!! What does it mean to call someone a “boot”…?
This might be a deep question, but how do you ingest the water of Jesus Christ?
@@josephbacon303 By receiving the gift eternal life by Romans 10:9. You can whish the 🍷 in your mouth to see if you like it… but still spit it back out. Jesus is the water. It’s a reference to him baptizing you by the Holy Spirit. And when you drink it… It becomes a bubbling spring within you. Or you can spit it back out and not receive the gift of eternal salvation. Metaphor Kind of like how you eat bread at communion… It’s his flesh, and you drink wine because it’s his blood. It’s all symbolic or metaphor to remind you that he sacrifice his flesh and blood to save us. For the water that we dipped in to baptize us.

Hey Frank & Sense. Thank you for the video. I'm hoping I'm not the one that was challenging you, but if I was, I'm sorry. I appreciate your teachings. I will admit I disagree with you on a few things but I feel like that is okay and good. We can learn from each other. Whoever told you that you are not ready to teach is crazy (even if that was interpreted by me 😅 ). I was a missionary at 19, and I know what it feels like not to teach perfectly 100% of the time. I was an expert at putting my foot in my mouth. I enjoy interfaith dialogues, and I hope speaking up and defending my faith is okay. I shout a big Amen to everything that you said! There is another RUclipsr that I like who does interfaith discussions between The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and evangelicals. It is called "Hello Saints" if you want to see what I'm talking about. Regardless, I appreciate your teaching and your conversations. I hope that we can have more dialogue in the future.
@@josephbacon303 no worries man. I absolutely have zero problems with being challenged. I just have always had a problem people challenging me, but not welcoming it in return. Truth is that not one of us is going to be 100% right all the time. So then it just becomes a question of pride if someone doesn’t like to be challenged or isn’t welcoming of it. Tower of Babel really. Got confused the languages so that nothing would be impossible for us. It’s a challenge to work together through our difficulties in our struggles. But the truth remains… and that is of Jesus Christ being exactly who he is in the Bible! IT IS FINISHED!!
Hey Frank & Sense. I found your YouTude channel through one of the shorts from this video. Powerful thoughts and thank you for the uplifting message about coming to Christ!
@@josephbacon303 Frank you very much! 😂 All Glory 2God tho man. I didn’t find God/Jesus… they found me. Wasnt seeking, wasn’t asking…just came & got me. Anything I’m saying… And yes, I do get scared at times that I’m horribly wrong…but I don’t think you wake me up for me to keep it to myself. And hopefully it comes off in my videos for everybody else & helps them. 🙏
Hello. I came in one of your shorts. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons), I appreciate the care you are taking to help spread the word of God. One thing that I would like to point out is that we need to check ourselves and our criticisms. I don't feel like most of your criticisms about the LDS church are good evidence of why it is untrue. For example, the "I Moron" comment sounds more like a schoolyard taunt than evidence of why LDS are wrong. I would love to have a discussion of why you hold your views about my faith. I would also recommend taking the good with the bad and seeing the good the LDS church does, like its humanitarian efforts. Congrats on finding your faith in Christ. I hope to hear more of your thoughts. Also the Google Docs works now👍
I agree about the "I Moron" comment. School yard taunt..yah. Definitely not the best thing to say prolly...but it's a reference to SATAN thinking he knows better than God. And that makes Satan a moron honestly. Brotha. I didn't "find" Christ. He found me! I was doing nothing. Truth! All Glory to Him. But when you say focus on the "works" of your Church and what they are doing in humanitarian efforts. That's awesome! But in Ephesians 2:8-9 in the Bible..who was once persecuting and killing Christians..gets a random wake up call on the road to Damascus (Syria)...turns around and then preaches "NO works get you saved...and NO boasting". Then years later loses his head for his FAITH in Christ. That's baller faith man. Doing good works are fine...but even after being eternally saved in Christ they can be questioned was to WHY we are actually doing them and why do we honestly need to boast about them or defend them? You do them because they are the right thing to do...nothing more, nothing less. Thoughts?
@@FrankAndSenseDSM Great thoughts! Amen to what you said! Glory to God for finding you and saving us all. I liked what you said about humanitarian work. Christ talked about doing good in secret and not to boast. I also love Paul; he has incredible faith and is a great example of a Christian. One thought that I have is the reason why we do good. I feel like the reason we do it is to treat others the way Christ treats us. Christ is so good to us while we do nothing. I want to do good because I am grateful for everything great God has done for me, and I want to help others to find that same goodness of God. I hope that makes sense. Ultimately, what I was trying to say in my original message is that we need to test out the criticisms in the same way that test the LDS church. For example, you talked about how it is a bad sign that the Book of Mormon came from gold plates, saying that gold is bad and connects to the Golden Cafe and other pagan practices. At the same time, the Ark of the Covenant was made of gold (Exodus 25:11) and was used by Moses for good. My question is, why are the Book of Mormon Gold plates bad while the gold Ark of the Covenant was not. It is even believed that the Ark of the Covenant carried the Ten Commandments and kept the commandments safe. So why would the Lord not also protect other important words in Gold (i.e., The Book of Mormon)? One last thought for you is that people can interpret things in an evil way. The people in the Old Testament ended up worshiping the brass snake as a God instead of as a reminder of Christ. In the same way, we can interpret the LDS faith to be evil even when it is bringing millions of people closer to Christ. I know that you believe otherwise, but I believe that the LDS faith has brought me and others closer to Christ. What are your thoughts? (Sorry about the long message, I get excited when talking about The Bible and Christ 😅)
@ Because it could potentially be a FALSE Christ! And that’s not good. When Jesus literally says…IT IS FINISHED…right before he gives up his spirit on the cross (John 19:20). Do you think he meant it? Because if he didn’t…and he just decided 1800 years later, “Oh wait, never mind. I didnt mean “It Is Finished…there was more. J/K. Heres ANOTHER testament of me” Do you really think he would do that?
@@FrankAndSenseDSM Thank you for your responce and I love hearing your line of thinking. I am curious to know what you think Christ means by "It is finished." I interpret that line on the cross to mean that Christ has finished the prophecies of His death. For example, Psalm 69:21 refers to Christ Drinking Vinegar on the cross. After he finishes all of the prophecies about his life, he clearly states, "It is finished." He is not talking about the end of the scriptures, or else the scriptures would have ended right at John 19:20, but we still have things to learn, like his resurrection. Christ knew that it wasn't over because He still came to show Himself the apostles and minister to others as shown in Acts. I find it a slippery slope to point to the end of the scriptures by using an event or a statement. For example, Jews do not believe in the New Testament because the line in Malachi 4 says, "The end of the Prophets." (Jews might have more examples for not believing the New Testament.) If we go with your line of thinking and claim the scriptures end when Christ says, "It is Finished," then we would be losing 23 books in the New Testament, including all the words that Paul wrote. Along with that, the Book of Mormon takes place from 600 BC to 400 AD. If the scriptures end when Christ says, "It is finished," does that mean the first 600 years of the Book of Mormon are true? That would be 426 pages of the Book of Mormon. That is, 80% of the Book of Mormon happens before the crucifixion of Christ.
Great video Frank. You're a real one and your faith is authentic. I recommend you try to spend time on understanding why it was that The Lord reached you, even though you may have not been looking for God in the surface ways that are obvious to us. It wasn't random, discover the reason and you can help people reach the same difficult place where sincere searching happens that leads to discovery, and true turning toward The Holy One begins. I think I'll make a video about the "dark night of the soul" -I went through something like that too 🫡
@@voiceofleevi All good brother. This video I made recently but my wake up call was end of Oct last year. I’ve been deep into scripture reading since, countless hours of watching youtube preachers like yourself. God and Master J are making moves! WE ARE FAMILY! 🙏 😉
Cool, I love Lord of the Rings, too! Which book is your favorite?
Never read them. Watched the movies tho. And watched "Rings of Power" And I understand they are JRR Tolkien who was a Christian right? But that is fantasy based on his faith. I don’t think there is anything wrong with reading them as long as it doesn’t draw you away from Jesus. Only towards him as the author of those fictional stories was a Christ believer (Roman Catholic from what I just Googled). 1 Corinthians 10:23-24 - “(23) I have the right to do anything,” you say-but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything”-but not everything is constructive. (24) No one should seek their own good, but the good of others." Then again...I personally still have to watch what I say as a new believer...or even a veteran down the road. Or the advice I give. But scripture speaks for itself. And it's a dangeous mindset for any of us to be in when we said, "Well this person told me this is what the scriptures mean" when we don't take time to read the scriptures ourselves, think & talk to God about them. The real questions is...Will you? Will I? Because when you read the word of God yourself...God is speaking directly to YOU...not me. BUT...I always liked the "Return of the King"...because there is 1 scene where the light beats the darkness. JESUS wins! And also reflected in a scene from Two Towers. JESUS IS THE WAY!! And pretend Jesus is coming in those scenes. Focus on him! *You can even see the division of 'light' and 'dark' in the "sky" in the scenes. It's good to know that Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are Christians. We believe Christ came to earth as described in the New Testemant. We believe he is the son of God. We also believe that he died for our sins making him the Christ. 🙂
I’m new to this man. But when I speak to all “religions” inside of the Christ faith. And we know that salvation is Christ is not of works. It’s only faith in him that saves us. And we’re 2000 years after he walked this earth. So 2000 years of potential teachings of the church that we know are ever going to be 100% correct. We all have to look at the “religions” or “works” we are in. Because if the Book of Momon is “Another Testament of Christ”. Why isn’t it titled “THE Testament of Christ”. Because thats what THE BIBLE IS! So the Book of Mormon should at least be challenged based on that TRUTH! At that point. One must start to face the truth they might be reading something they shouldn’t be reading or drawing them further from Jesus and worshipping potential false prophets or angels. But personal and strong opinion....The Book of Mormon should NOT be read outside of knowing what it says. If you're basing that for the foundation of your faith in Christ...NO BUENO! @@FrankAndSenseDSM Thank you for giving an honest take on what you know about my church. I appreciate that you take the time to respond to my comment. One question that I have is how you define a work-based religion. I understand that people can consider us work-based, but I believe that we are saved through Christ. For example, I believe we need to be baptized, but we do it through Christ. Christ's name is what saves us. The fact that we do baptism is to show our commitment to Christ and know that He will save us. I feel that shows we believe Jesus is the Christ. It is hard for me to understand why "another testament of Jesus Christ" is a bad thing. We know that when two or more are gathered in the name of God, there He is also. Why can't that be true with scriptures, too? If you found out another group of people were visited by Christ, wouldn't you want to know how He interacted with them? Thank you for your warning on who to base my faith on. I base it on Jesus Christ. I believe that we can learn from Him through the Old Testament, New Testament, and Another Testament. To go back to your video, which of the three criteria do you consider the LDS faith doesn't believe in? I am trying to understand your point of view. (I hope it comes across like that.) Thank you for doing the Lord's work here on RUclips. I would love to hear your thoughts :)
@@josephbacon303 Well I think just look at the connections of Mormonism to GOLD and Paganism for starters. Tablets of Gold vs. Tablet of Stone. Christianity is based on faith in Chris to be saved..."NOT of Works So One Can Boast" Ephesians 2:8-9. Christianity was built on people willing to go to their deaths for their faith. I am not Mormon. But also...in the Bible it is said that Satan sometimes describes himself as an Angel of Light. So the Angel Moroni right? NOWHERE in the Bible is that Angel mentioned. It's always an angel ending in EL...Michael, Gabriel...etc etc. Also...Lehi and Nephi are said to leave right around the time the Ark of The Covenant disappeared. At the time of the Fall of Babylon with King Nebechnezzar. The same guy who three the 2 Old Testament dudes into the fire for not worshipping his FALSE GOLDEN 90 ft statue he made. And a 4th man was in the fire with them dancing around..(Prolly a real angel of the Lord or Jesus himself) protecting him from them from the flames. Exactly what Jesus does for us for eternity just be having faith in him. See Romans 10:9. Or 1 John 5:13. Jesus warns of future false prophets that will come. And to say that. Lehi and Nephi in what was it...570 BC...traveled down a trail through Arabia..and sailed all the way across the Atlantic in 600 BC? Could people do that in 600 BC? Really?!...landed somewhere in the Americas...and they preached to the Native Americans (who were more than likely descendants of the Fall of the Tower of Babel). Or Babylon. Pagan Gods. Worshipping the "Fallen" Angels more than likely. So..when 2 young Mormons come to my door months after my random wake up call from Jesus himself & after I already did my research on Mormonism and found all these connections of Mormonism...and see "Another Testament of Jesus Christ"...one could assume it's true...but one should prolly be like..."Hmmm, why would Jesus give another "gospel" essentially...revealed on Golden Tablets at Cumorah Hill (that sounds like Gamorrah..as in SODOM and Gomorrah (bad news there in the OT)...and then flip the script on "by faith alone" and into another "religion" kind of based on him that promotes "works" to be saved upon their faith. The value in someones works...the real value is not because they HAVE to do them...it's because they choose to do them. The same choice God gave Adam & Eve in the beginning with NO sin in the world yet. They still didn't believe God fully and failed. Satan or maybe another fallen angel messed that up from the start. And we know that humans (no matter if you have faith in Christ or not or any other religion)...will always assume they are right naturally before they EVER come close to admitting they might be wrong! So...to your question, "What if another group was visited by Christ and wouldn't you want to know how they interaced with him?" Sure! And from what I've researched on Mormonism so far...there are FAR too many connections to Paganism for me to even wanna touch it again. I mean..Palmyra, New York..where Cumorah Hill is. Palmyra, Syria...Temple of Baal or Bel. BAAL...Pagan God in Babylon. Goes back to King NEBS (AS I called him and the 3 dudes). You tell me...after all of that in the OT with Babylon and Pagan Gods, Golden Statues, worshipping false Gods or Idols. Then God randomly turning around 1800 years after Christ and revealing "Another Testament" of Jesus Christ to a "another" group of people only. Does that sound logical to you? Or safe to keep on practicing without really asking questions...like really sit down and be like..."Man. Why don't I just rely on THE BOOK I know is from God. Like...it comes from the Greek Word 'Biblion'...which means book. Biblio Vs. Babylon. Like...really? How is that not a message from the God of The Bible? And this is coming from someone who wasn't raised in any faith or religion or church and got a massive wake up call. GOD is awesome. Jesus (of the Biblion-Bible) is the correct Jesus. And I will stand by that till the day I die! And it is scary man. Maybe that you might be practicing a false religion. And in the Bible it says you may have to 'walk away" from people you know. But is it worth eternity because you, I or someone else doesn't wanna "sit down & reason with themselves" with Jesus. Like really call out to him for help? I have..and that man is my KING! He came for me without even asking...I don't know why. But maybe this is part of my purpose to chat with you & bring some different light to this battle we're all facing. JESUS is God's gift to us...he is THE Testament. There needs to be NO OTHER testament after he died on the cross to fulfill anything else...I think it is the reason he said, "IT IS FINISHED!" That's pretty clear to be honest. 1800 years before "Another Testament" came out. Why would he add more to the story when he said..."IT IS FINISHED"...? Just my random thoughts!
@@FrankAndSenseDSM I appreciate your thoughts. I feel like you shared a little too much for me to comment on each point. All I can say is that it seems like the connections that you see from Paganism to the LDS faith are just coincidence. I don't feel like there is a strong enough connection with the city names to have much backing. The Israelites also used gold in their religious practices. I feel like the Book of Mormon connections better with the Ark of the Covenant than the Gold Cafes. I appreciate that you are strong in your faith, but this is not my first time seeing, hearing, or answering these questions for myself. I would tell you not to give up fully on the LDS faith yet. The name of my church is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and I believe we keep Christ our center. I agree with a lot of what you say, and I think you would be surprised at how much we hold in common. I would love to talk more. I would like to focus on one point at a time. Jumping around from point to point is a bit hard for me to follow. I hope you have a blessed day.
@@josephbacon303 I don't think it's really a matter of me giving up on the Church of LDS. I am not going to be conformed by any modern day Church in 2024. I have problems with many of them, simply because I wasn't raised in one of them. I am after one man..and one man only. And he says that we may have to give up everything or lose things we love...and it's harder for someone to do that when they've built something in an actual church (building). And Gods truth is THE truth. I'll say it again..when Jesus is on the cross and the last words before he gives his spirit to God..."It Is finished!" Jesus does not lie! and for him to say that..and then turn around and change his mind 1800 years later...take out what you've been taught and I'd just ask you to think logically. Do you think Jesus would actually change his mind after saying those words? And that is something I'd say to you don't need to answer to me....talk to you know who for the TRUTH!
So what created God? Lol
That's a great question! The only issue is...it's redundant. To ask the question "Who created God?" woud literally be implying a higher creator than God. And you could go on and on with that. Now with the concept of "God". God is SPIRIT..in the Bible. "RUACH' is the Hebrew word. Now if we personally have a "spirit" that runs our body...our body would essentially just be a carbon copy of that. So when the spirit leaves the body...the body itself decays back into the "dust". So essentially...our body doesn't go nowhere...it goes back into the Earth. Which would imply that our "Spirit" can't go nowhere. So...the only logical conclusion would be that something has to exist eternally for everything else to exist. It's the only option. One can believe what they want...but one could really ask themselves that question, "Do I really believe it's impossible to come from nothing and go nowhere?" Because YOU didn't answer that question (at least on here). And it's natural for ppl to ask, "Who created God?" I can't get my mind around the "eternal" thing sometimes. but even then..I must admit I am at least less than the universe...so in truth, I will never know that on this side whether or not I do or don't believe in the God of the Bible. But scientifically...literally, by basic laws...thermodynamics. From my study. It literally points to God every time. Thoughts?
