If this is a defence for men having more than one wife it fails, their are presumptive errors used to reach a false conclusion and actual errors, for example Hosea did not take a new wife in Hosea 3, it was his first Gomer who is being referred to. Isaiah 4, is not positing a revival of polygamy in the end of days, it speaks of the dearth of men following the extremities of the coming tribulation and whether God will allow polygamy temporarily as a concession is a moot point. The author is trying to gas light people. Still waiting for the topic to start on Ashtoreth. Waiting patiently. The metaphor of God having a faithful wife, as the bridegroom does not extend to giving natural men literally being given permission to take more than one wife. Jesus was very clear on his position with regard to having One Wife only. God permitted David and Solomon to take more than one wife, as a metaphorical picture of the coming kings spiritual bride, in the same way that pictures are painted throughout the Bible as foretelling future fulfillment of prophecy, for example the binding of Isaac. Polygamy is not a practise sanctioned by the Bible except under defined conditions, for example to populate the early earth or to repopulate the earth after decimation. Isaiah 4. Still waiting to find out by Ashtoreth. Matthew 19:3-6 [3] Some Pharisees came to him to test him. They asked, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any and every reason?” [4] “Haven’t you read,” he replied, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’ [5] and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’? [6] So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”

Moon worship has been practiced in Arabia since 2000 BC. The crescent moon is the most common symbol of this pagan moon worship as far back as 2000 BC. In Mecca, there was a god named Hubal who was Lord of the Kabah. This Hubal was a moon god. One Muslim apologist confessed that the idol of moon god Hubal was placed upon the roof of the Kaba about 400 years before Muhammad. This may in fact be the origin of why the crescent moon is on top of every minaret at the Kaba today and the central symbol of Islam atop of every mosque throughout the world: About four hundred years before the birth of Muhammad one Amr bin Lahyo ... a descendant of Qahtan and king of Hijaz, had put an idol called Hubal on the roof of the Kaba. This was one of the chief deities of the Quraish before Islam. (Muhammad The Holy Prophet, Hafiz Ghulam Sarwar (Pakistan), p 18-19, Muslim) The moon god was also referred to as "al-ilah". This is not a proper name of a single specific god, but a generic reference meaning "the god". Each local pagan Arab tribe would refer to their own local tribal pagan god as "al-ilah". "al-ilah" was later shortened to Allah before Muhammad began promoting his new religion in 610 AD. There is evidence that Hubal was referred to as "Allah". When Muhammad came along, he dropped all references to the name "Hubal" but retained the generic "Allah". Muhammad retained almost all the pagan rituals of the Arabs at the Kaba and redefined them in monotheistic terms. Regardless of the specifics of the facts, it is clear that Islam is derived from paganism that once worshiped a moon-god. Although Islam is today a monotheist religion, its roots are in paganism

Very interesting book. I however have a case against Paul. Paul is NOT an Apostle. Every time some teacher of "The Way" quotes Paul where he seems to speak against Torah, he ALWAYS have to add "What Paul actually says...". Were you there when Paul wrote that? Were you inside his head to know what he was thinking or do we take the words at face value first, and then any interpretation has to align with the face value. Do not twist Paul's words to make him 'align' with the teachings of Yahusha. See Paul for what he was, a Pharisee , a Bejaminite whom Jacob said would be wolves, of the family of Herod, a Herodian and infiltrator of the way to confuse the teachings in order to keep the House of Israel in the dark. As prophesied by Hosea. As warned by Yahusha when he said beware of 'wolves' in sheep's clothing. As written by Ireaneus (from the Dead Sea Scrolls) that James(Ya'cov- Yahusha's brother, head of Jerusalem church) and Cephas wrote in a letter that they declared Paul 'apostasia' from 'the faith''

The problem you’re running into with this idea is that the apostle Peter actually came out and said that the writings of Paul would be twisted by ignorant and unstable men who didn’t understand Torah.

@@HMI777 Interesting study, that topic about Paul's credibility. Peter's words says people will 'twist' Paul's words. When any teacher says "but Paul actually meant..." he is twisting Paul's words. Peter did not say anything about Torah. I am convinced he said those who twist Paul also twist other scriptures. How is it that you have twisted the words of what Peter said? Khumran cave scrolls have revealed much about Paul in the 1st and 2nd century. That should be an informative study for you. New insights are always a sign of true scholarship. Keep on seeking.

@@whatdoiknowjustamortalsoon8633 Contextualizing Paul's statements in line with his statements in Romans 3:31 ( Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law) or in line with Torah is not the same as twisting his words into an antinomian meaning.

I think there is a case for saying that God condones multiple wives at particular times in history. But in the New Testament it says that a man should have one wife. However, I recall coming across prophecy .... can't recall the book. I think it's in the end of Zechariah, or one of those minor prophets. One of the prophecies that gets into detail about the end of the age and Israel's battles and triumph. It foretells that at the end of this age only 1/3 of the Jewish/Israeli remnant will survive the battles to come. There will probably be a great loss in many nations. But I do think that the rise of anti-semitism, anti-Israel opinion, and Islam in the west, is likely pointing to a period of intense Jewish persecution before this current age ends. If I recall right the holocaust also lead to 2/3rds of the Jews being killed. So that's a sort of pattern of things to come, I think. The prophecy suggests that there will be so many more women than men that several women will go to one man and ask him to give them a "name," which I assume suggests that there will be so many men killed in the wars and pestilence that polygamy may re-emerge at the beginning of the coming age of peace. I wouldn't assume that it would stay that way as things repopulate though.

So here is the bottom-line conclusion of the way I view it from my where I stand. Polygyny is permitted but not encouraged as inferred from the old scriptures. Back 2000 years ago or more, the culture and the way of life was much different in the biblical holy land than the current one. Men took multiple wives for many reasons; they were concubines bought and sold in the slave market. Or they were gifted to a ruler of one land to another ruler as peace offering. There are many other reasons as well such economic reasons, protections, etc. So why are we debating this issue now? I challenge any polygenist to present his evidence in the Scriptures showing that YHWH wants us men to take on multiple wives to become righteous. My point is He created Adam and the Eve from Adam’s rib. Recalling it was only one rib, and not two or three ribs. It is meant to be one man and one woman married in a sacred union, yet Yahweh permitted it (only) to solve a problem the man may have. It is a practice that is not supposed to happen naturally. Show me any woman who would not be jealous of the other rival wives. What woman would accept this situation unless the man has broken her down to a low level that she would accept anything from him. It is rather abusive to women to subject them to such treatment by their men. If the man has to take another wife, how is the new wife going to be protected if case he passes away. Will she inherit some his assets and savings? Will the first wife accept sharing those assets with the rest let alone sharing the time and attention of that husband with another woman? I am sorry to tell the group that the overwhelming population of woman from the believers or non-believers will not accept this situation of being a rival wife. My take on the whole think about those men who want to practice polygeny is they have some kind fascination about taking on many women at the same time, in a way they are being sexually promiscuous at best, or they have sexual perversion. I listen to other polygynist talk on RUclips with their insinuations regarding sexual submissiveness of those women. Who knows what happen behind closed doors and if this narcissistic husband will expect his woman to be bisexual and if they all sleep together, which makes it a sin. Here is another argument point, in the scriptures there used to be slaves bought and sold 2000 years ago, does that make it right to start taking on slaves? Polygynist really need a psychiatric help to overcome their hangups on the matter, their sexual perversions need to end. It is just appalling beyond belief to treat women in this fashion. Finally, my other take on the current polygyny is the husband excepts his women to go get a job to help support the family while he messes around with creating RUclips nonsense videos. In a way those guys act like pimps, excepting his wives to go work to support him while he pretends to fulfil Yahweh’s will. I encourage all women who are considering becoming a rival wife to run away from that guy as fast and as far as possible. May Yah bless us all the righteous ones.

Thanks for your reply. A lot of emotion here and misconceptions. I would have never ventured into this subject unless Yeshua called me to it after viewing the incredible damage being done to people by the Abortion industry, LGBTQ trans on kids social evils, or extreme feminism kicking the divorce rate up in the church to 50%. The cure is an ancient method God used to restore balance. I suspect you have not REALLY studied this subject given the types of arguments you employ here. The truth is Yahweh is going to restore this polygynist inclusive way for the end times (Isaiah 3-4 *problem and resolution)*. Prophecy clearly shows this. Polygyny will restore balance to a broken down church capitulated to anti-family values. Stick with monogamy. Nothing wrong with that. But kicking against the plan of Yahweh won’t yield restoration either. Because as it says in another place- “this thing is from me.” 1 Kings 12:24 KJV

You are absolutely right, there were a multitude of reasons to take on multiple wives and still is. Not only was it allowed 2000 years ago, but in some cases required, though it was rare. The bottom line is not only was it allowed, but it was the norm. If taking another reason wife causes strife or division, either you as a husband or your wife are doing something wrong. Today women want to rule men and tell men what men will and won't do. That is not a submissive woman. A submissive woman submits to her honorable husband and wants the best for him and thier family, that includes any additional wives. But let's just throw all that away and keep on going with our adulterous serial monogamy, fatherless culture we have going on because it obviously works so well! Ignoring what God has called good and you call evil. Ignoring what God calls evil and you call good!

"Polygyny is permitted but not encouraged." Let's check that. Dueteronomy 25:4-10 is a commandment that makes no exceptions for whether the living brother has a wife or not. The passage strongly encourages that woman be taken as a wife. An additional wife if already married. 1 Timothy 5:13-18 undeniably ties the situation of widows in to church to the Levirate marriage. The wife of the elder is strongly "encouraged" to share her resources with the widows she is assisting. The wife's resorce is her husband. The elder who rules well is "encouraged" to provide for the widows in accordance with the law and is "encouraged" to eat from the "corn" he is treading. (Taking congigal rights and progeny for the provisions) if you didn't understand Paul’s euphemism. There are more witnesses to the "encouragement" and flat-out commands to what we call polygyny if you require them, and are willing to question the Greco-Roman ideals that have been forced upon the "church."

You don't understand that it wasn't a "slave market" like the rest of the world under YHWH’s governance. Servitude under YHWH's Torah was distinct from the oppressive slavery of other nations and was rooted in justice, compassion, and dignity. The Torah established regulations designed to protect and elevate the status of servants, making their treatment vastly different. Here are some passages that highlight this distinction: 1. Exodus 21:2-6 2. Deuteronomy 15:12-15 3. Leviticus 25:39-43 4. Exodus 21:20-21, 26-27 5. Deuteronomy 23:15-16 These passages show that servitude under YHWH's Torah was intended to restore dignity, offer hope, and reflect YHWH’s character of justice and mercy. In contrast, many nations of the ancient world treated slaves as property with few or no rights, often subjecting them to harsh and inhumane conditions. This understanding of servitude under YHWH's instructions dismantles your argument.

And their children shall see and rejoice, their heart exulting in Yahuah. 8. “I shall whistle for them and gather them, for I shall ransom them. And they shall increase as they once increased. 9. “Though I sow them among peoples, they shall remember Me in places far away. And they shall live, together with their children, and they shall return. 10. “And I shall bring them back from the Land of Egypt (Mitsrayim), and gather them from Ashshur, and bring them into the land of Gil‛aḏ and Leḇanon, until no more room is found for them. 11. “And He shall pass through the sea of distress, and strike the waves of the sea, and all the depths of the River shall dry up. And the pride of Ashshur shall be brought down, and the sceptre of Egypt (Mitsrayim) be taken away. 12. “And I shall make them mighty in Yahuah, so that they walk up and down in His Name,” declares Yahuah.

We have had quite a few disputable matters presented over the last few days. Remember that in everything there is plenty of truth. As believers, we are called to eat the hay and spit out the straw. At this time I would like to spit out some straw and do so publicly and to tell people why I am doing so. I speak primarily of those who are in the Christian identity movement, such as Matthew Nolan and others of his viewpoints. Matthew Nolan perpetuates a narrative that somehow the transatlantic slave trade victims, African Americans, who totally lost the marks of the house of Judah through centuries, and centuries, and are now in the inner cities, listening to rap, wearing those Nikes and pants that droop down -that somehow, they are remnants of the house of Judah. The fallacy here is that the house of Judah, NEVER EVER EVER lost the marks of the religion of Israel. That can be easily proven. Now, if any of those African-Americans happen to come to Messiah, they do not have the right to join a house that they lost the marks of (the religion of Israel), for centuries, and centuries and centuries. They are assigned to the house of Israel, and all of its auxiliaries. The only reason that the Christian identity movement resents the Jews is the same reason that the German populace resented the Jews, the overuse of Usery, and the fact that the Jews were excellent business people enriching themselves during times of struggle. Out of this came in a identity movement, that was designed to disenfranchised people, who, for centuries and centuries and centuries, bore the marks of the house of Judah, namely, the Sabbath, all the feast days, the attire accoutrements TZIT TZIT, and the like -clean meat laws and many other elements, retained over the centuries from the house of Judah. A Jewish Nation that we know scripture says still rules with YAHWEH, in that they follow the pattern given to all the commonwealth of Israel at the time in Mount Sinai. Hosea 11:12 Ephraim compasseth me about with lies, and the house of Israel with deceit: but Judah yet ruleth with God, and is faithful with the saints. So, we again have a guy like Matthew Nolan perpetuating lies, and deceit, trying to disenfranchised the very people who never lost the marks of that religious system handed down at Mount Sinai. These Christian identity adherents are only two happy to find another object of identity, since they dislike the Jews so much, they want to appoint arbitrarily the moniker of Jew upon African-Americans, who were involved in the transatlantic slave trade, poor souls who had totally lost all the marks of the house of Judah, for centuries, and centuries and centuries, that is, if any of them even were the descendants of some of Jewish ancestors that had flooded into the African continent, AND they want to perpetuate a deceitful narrative that somehow they’re going to self appointed that kingdom identity on African-American people who have ancestors that did NOT NOT NOT follow the Torah oriented faith (a absolutely requirement since that nation was never divorced, only put into EXILE AND PUNISHMENT), for centuries, and centuries, and centuries, and millions and millions of the African American ancestors even walked in polytheism and rank idolatry - witchcraft & the like! There are many falashas in Ethiopia and other tribes that never ever lost the marks of the house of Judah, as I enumerated above, and those certainly have a right to claim belonging to the house of Judah. But anyone whether, black, white, oriental- it doesn’t matter- if you had a mom and a daddy and you had a granddaddy and a Grandmommy and you had a great grandmommy and a great granddaddy, who are not Jewish, who did not bear the marks of the house of Judah, you cannot today, self appoint yourself to that house. You belong rightfully so under Messiah to the house of Israel, the stick of Joseph as given to us in Ezekiel 37. Antisemitism against the nation of Judah that has for centuries, retained the marks of the kingdom of Judah- that being the very religion handed down to Mount Sinai, should never be allowed to perpetuate without strong opposition. We here at HEBREW MESSIANIC ISRAEL will SO appose those viewpoints. Selah. P.s. I have dear brothers and sisters, whom I love in the faith caught up in these viewpoints, and it doesn’t change how I feel about them- I know that they belong to the master. But at the same time, I must stand up for what the scripture has revealed to us here at HEBREW MESSIANIC ISRAEL, AND I MIGHT ADD THE OVERWHELMING MAJORITY OF THOSE WHO ADHERE TO THE TWO HOUSE TEACHING, THE MESSIANIC FAITHS AND MINISTRIES, THE HEBREW ROOTS MOVEMENT, AND THE LIKE.

Shalom Achi; listening to the author's equating the story of Lilith with the that of Eve/Chavah; reminds me of the problems which had long plagued Israel. Just as they tried to worship YaHuaH through the golden calf; cast at the base of Mt. Horeb/Sinai, and how they later brought the idols of the surrounding nations into the Temple of YaHuaH, i.e. mixing religions. It is notable that many of his conjectures are not accompanied by Scripture, and actually appear to founded on 'theories' propagated by Kabalah and Zohar. While they may make for interesting reading, I place them in the class of ancient works such as "Bel and the Dragon" or "The Diaries of Adam and Eve". None the less; it does give insight to some of the things which people believe and teach.

I would definitely request a print copy of the Alphabet Chart with all the Hebrew letters including the 5 final forms and the vowels. Very helpful single sheet of paper.
