Nice, a southern bell. Born and raised in dixie for me. I agree fully with being parents. About Candace can't say much. I've seen some videos but not enough to have an opinion. My views on men and women can take up three 800 page books. But, I'll try to break it down and what lead me to these views. It started with my second wife. (She has passed on.) Angie was very infatic that I was the head of the house. She insisted that I bring resources and that she would put them to use, a partnership. She did her part of the deal with out complaint. After 12hrs of work I would come home to a hot meal, a fresh can of dip on the armchair and beer sitting on the end table. I would come home and spend time with her, dance with her to her fav. music, talk with her and help with chores (She would never let me help during the work week only on my off days.) We built the relationship according to our nature. Men, it centers around being needed (physical) and respected for our efforts and for women it centers around being wanted (social) and respected for y'alls efforts. This lead me down the rabbit hole of reading 100yr old journals and looking at cultures around the world. It was the same everywhere I looked.

It's unfortunate that our society these days is so messed up that men and women think they don't need each other anymore except for extremely superficial desires. Everybody suffers with that. I agree with your wife's way. So sorry about your loss. I tried to do that but my 2nd husband couldn't do it. My 1st husband manipulated my young daughter to cause problems and after awhile he started to take out his anger on my daughter and became very controlling. My hope is that things can turn around and men (and women) will start working together again the way we were both meant to relate to each other. Thanks for your reply.
