Very nice Todd!! The two of you sound really great together. ❤it
@@danlyon8618 Thank you my friend!
That sounded great with univibe. Great playing/demo!
@@GrimpleGromble Appeciated!
Its really good but, with a little bit of editing this could be GOOD
why you not post this 12 year before it so good
It's a beautiful song. Thank you for writing it.❤
Todd that is a powerful song, it totally fits my Stepfather. I wish you could have sang that at his funeral. Nice work my friend.
@@edtaubeneck8662 Man! So nice to hear! Thank you Ed!
Congrats, sounds great! To my ear, something about the attack makes it work differently from a Fender for country. I need to add a better Vox to my amps. I always hear Tom Petty when I hear a Vox amp. On so many recordings.
Really sweet. Nice cover
@@MrSSIRON Thank you!
They are FRET EATERS. worse than old black diamonds. They do have a sound, but after all these years I've swapped preferences a few times. I was big on GHS 20yrs ago and then I discovered black diamonds and i have a 99 American black strat that I've had a million sets of pick up in until I got the some of the first limited run of HOT vintage noiseless that were originally a custom request wind for JBeck and the BDs had a toxic girlfriend thing w those. They looked sharp, and man they made for an addictive tone, but they ATE my frets. Tried the cobalt as a suggestion to brighten a slightly dark, muddy Les Paul supreme. They did in fact make a new animal of that geetar. Thankfully, I put some on a tele I played daily at the time and before the strings died the wear on my frets was obvious. The LP never got another set. I am A-DDICTED TO THE NYXL DAddario. They cost more but last 2-2.5 as long and they don't feel or sound like they have any coating which I hate, but they have a micro coating and man, they sound and play phenomenal.
@@toddwilliams4442 I have tried the d'addarios on my acoustic, sound great and last a good long time. I used to hate ernie balls because they would break alot and wouldnt stay in tune. They have improved. I like the soft core for easy playability and a specific tone that jacks me up. I combine 2 sets to make one. 9 11 16 28 38 48

@@toddhenderson806I must agree with the breaking. It was more the tail end for me, I kink my strings' tails to form a z bend, or sometimes just kink it up, that breaks, then there's not enough slack 😔
Sir, you popped up in my feed sometime back and I didn't have time to actually watch/see/HEAR you play. The algorithm brought you into my feed bc you play what I play and LOVE, and I clicked, saved, subscribed simply because of whatever song title and you gripping a tele I'm sure. I regret everyday since that has went by that I didn't deep dive your channel!! TWO QUESTIONS: #1.) Do you do lessons? #2.) Do you have a patreon? I'm self taught, completely. I've never seriously considered for any amount of time bc I can't find a teacher that loves real country and can actually play it correctly. I taught myself to play on southern rock and blues bc despite everyone's ignorance, country is very technically challenging. I thought I'd NEVER have the right hand dexterity to hybrid pick, chicken pick, do banjo rolls etc, but one day about a year and a half ago I decided that I would learn or I would go to my grave still making the effort. Tyvm for sharing your gift and please let me know about my previous questions. God Bless.
@@toddwilliams4442First of all, thank you! Very kind! I dont give lessons specifically, but if there is a lick you want to learn specifcally, let me know, and if its within my ability. I will post it on youtube for you. As far as hybrid picking, I would suggest you put down your pick and play the blues and rock songs you already know, with your thumb and first three fingers. If your amp is set on clean, and you get comfortable with using your thumb and fingers, you can decide on a flat pick or a thumb pick. These things take some getting used too but; worth the effort. #lovemusic
@@toddwilliams4442 Oh, my guitar influences, Albert Lee, SRV and Gary Moore.
Excellent. nice smooth sound!!!
Sounds like good ‘ol’ country rock music to me Todd! Sounds great and fun! 👍🏼
Thanks Jay!
Nice Thank you for this tutorial, I want to learn how to play this song, And "that part" has been My stumbling block So, Thank You ❤️
Well great! And, your welcome!
Sounds great Todd
nice work todd henderson! the vocal harmonizer sounds cool man, keep it going
What way do you have the enhance? And have you any other settings on the vocals other than the ve 2??
Todd you are a great musician, I’m sure you can make any guitar sound good. You rock Buddy. I do miss seeing you live. Great memories 👍🏻
Thank you Ed!!! Appreciated!
Good stuff Todd! She makes you look good . God bless sisters !
Nice one! I got the same guitar in Black Ash, I had a friend make another route and installed a P90 for the neck and a switch. It's really a unique instrument.
Thats why I like these guitars, you dont pay much for them so you can make them your own!
Great Video!!!!!! We have a Modded ONE!!!!!!!!!
New pick up?
ruclips.net/video/f25VSajhFn0/видео.html
I got lost. Are those the original pickups, or did you swap them out with something else ??? Sorry, I'm a little tired this evening.
Its ok, sometimes Im as clear as mud. The bridge pick up is a Seymour Duncan Hot for Tele pick up.In this video the neck pick up is stock. In later vids I replaced the neck pick up with a Seymour Duncan vintage stack noiseless.
That was really good, I've been playing guitar for about 10yrs now and this is truly inspiring to just play and not try and impress. You're not showing off you're just doing what you want to do. So many people on this app try too damn hard to impress people, while you're just having fun playing. Also, I love the shirt.
Well, thank you for the kind words. Very much appreciated. Its funny, I joined a new texas country band and they are all great players. I just had the conversation with them about playing what feels good, and that feeling, alot of the time, comes from simplicity. Such ajoy to make music that way!
Loved it. nice licks Todd.
Thanks Scott!!!
Awesome man! Nice playing! I agree with you... British voiced amps in general are magical for country tones! Keep rocking!
The amp sounds great and so do you.. Really good tone coming from that Vox and from your fingers.
Thank you!
Damnnnnnnnnnn!!! Tear it up biatch! ! That sounds awesome Todd.
Man O' man Todd! Go Todd GO!!! Sounds great!
Thanks Jay!
