I'm a Muslim and i see some abusers trying to hold on to this verse out of context! This verse is not for you to justify your stupidity! Its meaning needs to be understood in its totality! And this is in extreme cases and there are other verses in the Quran that neutralizes this but abusers like you people will not learn them and use this to justify your lack of self control! The prophet said the best of men are those who are best to their wives and the strongest man is not the one who uses physical attacks but he is the one who controls his emotions! Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen (may Allah have mercy on him) said in al-Sharh al-Mumti’ (1/167): Qaza’ means shaving part of the head and leaving part of it. It is of different types: 1- Where the shaving is not done properly, so some hair is shaved on the right side and on the left, and on the front, and on the back [i.e., separate parts of the head are shaved and the rest is left]. 2- Where the middle is shaved and the sides are left. 3- Where the sides are shaved and the middle is left. 4- Where the front part only is shaved and the rest is left. End quote.

Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Qaza’ is makrooh, because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw a boy, part of whose hair had been shaved and part had been left. He told them not to do that and said: “Shave it all or leave it all.” But if it is done in imitation of the kuffaar it is haraam, because imitating the kuffaar is haraam. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever imitates a people is one of them.” end quote. Al-Sharh al-Mumti’ (1/167).

qaza‘ refers to shaving part of the hair and leaving part of it. As for cutting part of the hair, for example on the sides, and leaving the top, this does not come under the definition of qaza‘, but if it is cut very short, then it is also disallowed, because it resembles qaza‘. And because cutting the hair in this manner, nowadays, is one of the characteristics of disbelievers and evildoers; it is not one of the characteristics of people of dignity and good character, so it is not appropriate for the Muslim to resemble those evildoers. We asked Shaykh ‘Abd ar-Rahmaan al-Barraak (may Allah preserve him) about what is mentioned in the question, and he replied: This resembles qaza‘ even though it is not qaza‘. Nothing wrong in having nice haircuts that looks decent and beautiful. We dont need to see these in classicals coz this is not pertains to halal haram matter. This is something a matter of adab. In Al Qaza, as far as I remember Sheikh Assim Al Hakeem speaking on it, you *shave* one part of the hair and let the other grow. That's what is not permissible. Shaving off one part completely while letting the other grow. That's why even shaving the moustache completely also qualifies as Al qaza.

المحيا محياكم والممات مماتكم ..😥😥 كان صفوان بن امية قد طلب مهلة شهرين حتى يسلم .. فأعطاه النبي ﷺ أربعة أشهر واستعار منه النبي ﷺ عدة المحارب .. وقد أعطاه مائة من الأبل كما أعطى زعماء مكة ايضا. ثم وجده ﷺ ما زال واقفاََ ينظر إلى أَحَد شِعاب حنين وقد شد انتباهه شِعبٌ وقد مُلئ إبلاً وشياه وقد بدت عليه علامات الانبهار بهذه الكميات الكبيرة من الأنعام فقال له الحبيب ﷺ: أبا وهب .. أيعجبك هذا الشِعب؟؟ فقال صفوان: نعم فقال: هو لك وما فيه قال صفوان: لي ؟!!!! قال: نعم يقول الصحابة ٠ فأشرق وجه صفوان وقال إن الملوك لا تطيب نفوسها بمثل هذا .. ما طابت نفس أحد قط بمثل هذا إلا نبي .. أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله وأشهد أن محمداً رسول الله فأسلم صفوان رضي الله عنه وصدق إسلامه... وعندما وجد الأنصار عطاء النبي ﷺ من خمسه (حصته) لسادة قريش مسلمها وكافرها عطاء ليس له حدود وجدوا في أنفسهم (أي تأثروا) .. فقال بعضهم لبعض: لقد لقي النبي قومه (اي رجع لأهله وفرح فيهم) .. غفر الله لرسول الله .. يعطي قريشاََ ويتركنا وسيوفنا تقطر من دمائهم بالأمس؟!! فلما بلغت هذه المقالة النبي ﷺ كان لها أثر في نفسه وأرسل إلى سعد بن عبادة زعيم الخزرج وهو الباقي من سادة الأنصار وقال النبي ﷺ لسعد: يا سعد ما مقالة بلغتني عن قومك؟؟ قال له: أجل يا رسول الله إن هذا الحي من الأنصار قد وجدوا عليك في أنفسهم لما صنعت في هذا الفيء الذي أصبت قسمت في قومك وأعطيت عطايا عظيمة في قبائل العرب ولم يكن لهذا الحي من الأنصار منها شيء فقال النبي ﷺ له: فأين أنت من ذلك يا سعد؟ (اي ما موقفك أنت) فقال سعد: ما أنا إلا رجل من قومي! فقال له النبي ﷺ: إذن فاجمع لي قومك لا يخالطكم غيركم فخرج سعد فجمع الأنصار (الأوس والخزرج) في شِعبٍ لم يدخل فيه إلا أنصاري... وأتاهم النبي ﷺ وحده لا يصحبه إلا الصديق أبو بكر فحياهم بتحية الإسلام .. ثم حمد الله وأثنى عليه ثم قال: يا معشر الأنصار ألم تكونوا كفاراََ فهداكم الله بي؟؟ ألم تكونوا عالة (أي فقراء) فأغناكم الله بي؟؟ ألم تكونوا أعداء فألف الله بين قلوبكم بي؟؟ ثم قال: ألا تجيبوني يا معشر الأنصار؟ قالوا: وبماذا نجيبك يا رسول الله .. ولله ولرسوله المنُّ والفضل؟ قال: أما والله لو شئتم لقلتم فلصَدَقتُم ولصُدِّقتُم قولوا: ألم تأتِنا مكذباً فصدقناك؟؟ ألم تأتِنا مخذولاً فنصرناك؟؟ ألم تأتِنا طريداً فآويناك؟؟ ألم تأتِنا عائلاً فواسيناك؟؟ فارتفع صوت الأنصار بالبكاء وضج المكان وهم يقولون: المنة لله ورسوله يارسول الله فقال لهم: ما مقالة بلغتني عنكم ووجدة وجدتموها في أنفسكم تقولون: لقد لقي محمد اليوم قومه يا معشر الأنصار أوجدتم في أنفسكم لعاعة من الدنيا تألفت بها قلوب قومٍ ليسلموا ووكلتكم إلى إسلامكم؟؟ ألا ترضون يا معشر الأنصار أن يرجع الناس بالشاة والبعير وترجعوا برسول الله ﷺ في رحالكم؟؟ فقالوا: أَوَفاعل أنت يا رسول الله؟؟ (وكانوا قد غلبهم الظن أن النبي سيقيم في مكة فقد أصبحت دار إسلام وهي مسقط رأسه وهي بلد الله الحرام فظنوا أن النبي لن يرجع للمدينة معهم ففاجأهم بهذا الخبر المفرح) قالوا: أَوَفاعل أنت يا رسول الله؟؟ قال: أجل المحيا محياكم والممات مماتكم أنتم الشعار والناس دثار. (الملابس الداخلية التي تلاصق الجسم تسمى شعاراََ لأنها تلامس شعر البدن أما القميص يسمى دثاراََ) أنتم الشعار أي أنتم أقرب لجلدي أنتم أهلي وعشيرتي وأحبابي أنتم الشعار والناس دثار .. فوالذي نفس محمد بيده لو سلك الناس قاطبةً شِعباً وسلك الأنصار شِعباََ لسلكتُ مسلك الأنصار ولولا الهجرة لكنت واحداً من الأنصار. ثم بسط يديه وهو يقول: اللهم ارحم الأنصار وأبناء الأنصار وأبناء أبناء الأنصار. يقول الأنصار: فظننا أنه لن يسكت حتى يعد مئة جيل من الأنصار. وبكى ﷺ وقال: ألم أعهد إليكم يوم العقبة (الدم الدم والهدم الهدم) أسالم من سالمتم وأحارب من حاربتم المحيا محياكم والممات مماتكم. (أي سأعيش ما عشت معكم واذا مِتُ سأدفن بأرضكم) فبكى الأنصار حتى اخضلّت لحاهم وهم يقولون: رضينا برسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم رضينا رضينا .. خذ ما بأيدينا من أموال وأعطها لأهل مكة. الله الله على الأنصار .. فازوا بالحبيب محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم وهو لعمري فوز وأي فوز ... اللهم اغفر لي ما لا يعلمون واجعلني خيراً مما يظنون.. اللهم أني أسألك حسن الخاتمه
