Best Turkey Recipe | Easy & Juicy Every Time
Here is my favourite turkey recipe.
I am using a 5.8lbs turkey.
Dry brine the turkey: 3 parts salt to 1 part sugar. Sprinkle all over the turkey, inside the carcass too. Refrigerate uncovered for 24 hours.
Butter mixture: To 1/2 cup softened butter, add 6 sage leaves chopped, 3-4 springs of fresh thyme, 2 tsp of fresh rosemary leaves. Add salt, pepper, paprika and Cajun seasoning. Measure with your heart. Add 3-4 cloves of mined garlic to this mixture.
Separate skin from turkey. Spread butter mixture in between the meat and skin, inside the carcass and on the back of the turkey. Add some olive oil.
