Wild Thing - By Professional Mold. Lead Vocals By Bruce Cadillac. Great Comic Relief At End of Song By Cecil & Includes The Famous Bruce Laugh.
There was always some kind of creative twist on each show.
I missed that.
There was another episode of To Tell The Truth that aired in the 1980s where an imposter had the name of Bill Cullen. And guess who was on the panel during that episode?
The one lady confused the Mormons with the Amish
I knew it couldn't be #3 because he said he was christened, Mormon are baptized as adults
Great clip, ty for the upload.
You can’t sue because a TV show happens to use the same name that you have.
#3 looks like a guy I worked with years ago, and his name was Jerry, but his last name wasn't Ford. lol
Take away the glasses on #3, he would resemble Bentley from the Jeffersons. Lol
I was just thinking this. 😅
Thought same thing
#3 looked like Larry Blyden
Good wholesome game shows back then, unlike the Family Feud of today.
Hilarious! 😂❤
The host literally said the contestant could be stoned....as in high on drugs....
Well . . . there *was* the Newlywed Game. That could get a bit racy at times.
@@davidsmock8235It was the ‘70s. Who wasn’t stoned? 😂
There was also a sitcom character named Larry King...I don't know if his opinions were the same as the real Larry King.
'King Of Kensington' from Canada, played by Al Waxman.
I thought the bald guy was going to be Gerald Ford.
Archie Bunker was the name picked first. It was going to be changed to Waldo Bunker, but a Waldo Bunker lived in Queens.
I actually remember seeing the episode of “To Tell The Truth” that was referenced in “Catch Me If You Can” with Leonardo DiCaprio. It aired in 1972, I believe.
I think it aired in 1977. It was from an episode that was hosted by Joe Garagiola.
I would loved to have met Carol O'Connor.
This is one of the funniest game show clips I've ever seen! I particularly loved the real Archie Bunker's response when he was asked if he shared the same views on the world with the fictional Archie Bunker: "I think Archie and I are diametrically opposed." 🤣🤣
Definitely a great show! I just watched, and this will really make you laugh, Match Game '75 featuring a lady contestant named Evie Phineas, the most terrified contestant I've ever seen! It's almost an hour long and you'll wish it was longer! Check it out 😅
It's on RUclips btw.
Foes..... 😂 #iykyk ❤
Bill Cullen, gee I remember him with short hair!
Go where
I wish we could have seen the intros and heard the statement. It must have been wild to hear the first person introduce himself as Archie Bunker.
I just added that segment to my channel.
I met a salesman who looked like Bill Cullen who sold cookies
Now that was funny!
There was one case in the 1950s where there was a kid contestant named Bill Cullen on "The Name's the Same" while the famous Bill was on the panel.
Is it a *_useful_* thing?
@@alanr4447a I would say no. That's one down, nine to go, and that's the wrong show I'm talking about.😁 In the meantime, I wonder if any of them have a secret that needs guessing.
😂❤
These shows were so much fun. I miss the calm, relaxed world of the 1970s.
Love #3's pause after "I Am the President," (This aired just 4 after Ford became President)
4 what?
I was just thinking to myself that the first contestant looked like Bill Cullen!
He may have added the eyeglasses and styled his hair to look like the panelist Bill Cullen.
GO Sabres!!!!!
RIP Scotty.
He wasn't perfect - but he was better than the average umpire.
@@JoeMama-qk8zvbut he was umpiring for mosquito league teams wasn't Dean's Auto Body one of top teams back then. I was looking at more as Scotty being a nostalgic legend of Sheboygan officiating, whether Rec little league, softball, or high school hoops he always had that smile. Also RIP Bruce another nostalgic legend whom my Aunt dated for a time.
@@frankv7774 I do remember Dean's having a very good team. A team full of youngsters, with incredible speed when running the bases. I remember Bruce dating a gal named Debby, but i don't know of any others, except for his ex-wife.
@@JoeMama-qk8zv Debby was my Aunt
