What programme were you using on the computer I have a TOPDON (topscan) scanner ? Will that do it. I have been with a friend this morning removing the chip from the plastic key wasn’t easy but succeeded with a dremil cutting the old key apart to remove the chip - yes success

Hey I have a 06 p71 and I swapped interior from a mercury marauder, my airbag light constantly turns on and off and beeps in a sequence the whole time you drive the car, any idea to get it to stop beeping?

That looked easy to remove the connector. I have tried various times to do this but I give up! Can I just cut the wire and fix it that way?

Hey Brother, I appreciate your hard work and dedication, but why didn’t you just get Grand Marquis seats for the Crown Vic, it’s virtually an exact swap where the wires plug right in because they’re the same? Just wondering. They also come with really nice leather! I have a 2010 CVPI and that’s my plan.

Thanks for the video, but my free windows version of forscan has PATS programming disabled. Found a 3min video at fordtechmakuloco that let me program my new key with two working chip keys. Hope that helps

The rear seat is from an lincoln town car L....the L is for Long. Its 6 inches longer than the normal town car. It also has heated rear seats and the rear center console controls the front passenger seat,radio and climate control.

I was looking for a tray to organize tools or anything i carry. I wasnt aware the P71 had this tray. Its also easy to take out so when you have luggage to put in. Thx really appreciate the videos. Thought this was a good video in that I have a good idea what the problem is about before I go to a mechanic. It is good to be as informed as possible. I am not sure i have the tools to do removal however, and it would be good if you set camera solid (so not to move) of whole door and do removal procedure and then dub over it. Looking forward to new videos. Thank you so much!

Were the back seats easy or you had to modify them?

In my 95' Aero Vic p73 Base, I took the cloth bench seats out and put 2008 police interceptor cvpi buckets in the front.

Probably got to pull the relay. Under the hood.

How much leg space did you loose between front seat and back?
