Once the most powerful civilization on the planet, Muslims were surpassed by the time the 'New World' was discovered by the West. At that time, the Muslim world was distracted by sectarianism (which is forbidden by verse 6:159) and internal conflict, the seeds of which were planted much earlier in our history.

Sad that we’ll never see this in our lifetime , our brothers are too worried about how the prophet clipped his nails and ate his food…meanwhile the ummah suffers and struggles with no safe haven or nation to support them
Indeed. Most believers throughout history were in the minority and underdogs. But that's okay, the mission of the believer is only to keep trying what they can in their capacity and never fall into despair.
