Firing Squad
Просмотров 1842 года назад
Short clip from TV documentary series about Maori Pilot John Pohe, who was one of the 50 shot during the Great Escape. Featuring myself as the SS Officer commanding the firing squad, I also provided the uniforms and weapons, except for the Navy Luger which was c/o Wingnut Films. This same Luger was the one used by Captain Englehorn in King Kong.

I loved this! I hope to get to this museum in March!
Best ww2 gun.
I DIDN'T KNOW THE AFRIKA CORPS WENT AS FAR AS NZ !!
Thats the best fake-Tiger I have seen for movies aside from the 131 Tiger from Fury 2018!
The hop after the last shot was cool too.

Seems like pretty light loads, or maybe it's just me.
It's supposed to be an automatic 24mm which is actually stronger than most automatic 20mms tanks and anti aircraft used, but definitely wouldn't be doing much to middle to late era ww2 tanks.
Is that the door knocker
Send to ukriane to fight putin!!!!
Keep all weapons and money away from Zelensky. He's destroyed the country enough.
@@dougler500 okay what's the prof for that? What is he doing and what is putin doing?
Ok but Ukraine has to pay the bill nothing is free in life everything has a cost.

Where's the 6 round magazine?
La Armada Brancaleone!...""🪖😂🤧
Strange, that they are shooting strait on the wheels, without deploying tripod legs. Ok i get it without a magazine but how they cope with recoil?
@@bensmith6868 Might be.
@@bensmith6868 I got ot, totally concure.
Love the open bolt
Imagine it firing off a full magazine. The sound must have been impressive. Love the Swiss <3

Magnificent specimen of Tiger I.
Why panzer commander shooting from PPS?
Красавец ! так он с дыркой в выхлопной гоняет больше 70 лет .
Hi Russian. Magnificent specimen of Tiger I.
It’s supposed to be a magazine fed semi auto.
Firing blanks, so no way to operate the action, be nice for them to fire service ammo. Make em' earn their pay...

Are you members of the NZDF?
No, members of WW2 HRS re-enactment society!
Germans caused a terrible pain to many nations during last wars. Today they do that using EU as a weapon against independency of nations. Same nazi politics continue but via economic warfare and censorship of opinions
Damn, that Tiger looks great! The first Tiger mock up I saw was in Kelly’s Heroes in 1970, and many others in movies since. This is by far the best ever! Well done!
Hi Troll. Magnificent specimen of Tiger I.
This is a very convincing Tiger 1 replica! The people who made this have done a fantastic job! What vehicle running gear must they have used to base it on?
Hi Underground. Magnificent specimen of Tiger I.
Finally a replica where the wheels look right, the tracks are wide too. Thin metal makes it practical. Like any actor it just has to look the part.
Hi Calvin. Magnificent specimen of Tiger I.
Excellent work. Thankyou 👍
That is is the best copy yet it's fantastic cheers
This 1 and the grey one in Russia are the best yeah.
Hi Kevin. Magnificent specimen of Tiger I.
Not even a kiwi let alone a 2nd Lt jock strap
Why the uniforms ?
Smokes like a freight train, must have a Russian-made engine in it.
That`s brilliant. I saw another so called replica earlier but this one looks spot on, great work.
Hi Angels. Magnificent specimen of Tiger I.
Tony Madden has now joined his comrades - passed away 2020. RIP - Duty Nobly Done!
great job on that Tiger replica, the best one I've seen yet aside from the Munster Frankentiger, sadly that one doesn't move. The only thing that gave away to me that something wasn't right and that it must be a replica was the fact I saw a running Tiger and the fact that the suspension wheels on this Tiger are flat.
Hi E A T. Magnificent specimen of Tiger I.
Oh, my god! If this Manfred would know?!
Hi Wolfgang. Magnificent specimen of Tiger I.
A 56 ton monster
scheiss replika..immer wieder kommt ..! wo sind die echte, orginale Tiger ???

Wow, that’s a replica? Well done.

Isn't that the tb-41 swis anti tank rifle? If so where is the magazine?
To preserve antique guns they are often only used as single shot.
@@lucariolps277 what's the point then?
@@lobsterbark what? The point is to preserve the gun.. Most of those tb 41 were scrapped after the war so you don't really find spare parts anymore. It's old and obsolete. Do you only shoot it single shot at Demonstrations to keep everything in good condition
@@lucariolps277 Why even shoot it at all, is what I mean. You aren't demonstrating anything, you aren't teaching anyone anything. If you are so concerned about breaking parts, either don't shoot it at all or make your own spares. Old stuff like that isn't difficult to manufacture, especially with modern cnc machines. Expensive because you are paying for the talent and material, but there are tons of machinists who would be willing to do that sort of stuff if it meant they got to shoot it.
@@lobsterbark they are at a history event.. That's why they might want to shoot it. And sure, you could make your own, if you know somone willing to do that. For the right price. Or find somone for free. Those small history Clubs sometimes dont have money, resources or time for that. And a additional reason is to preserve value/history. Sure. You can make your own parts, but those won't have the same serial number and would reduce the value of that gun. It could also be that depending on where they live, they aren't allowed to make spare parts because it would count as weapons manufacturing.. Wouldn't surprise me. Hell, it could be the completely wrong reason. Maybe they just don't have a Magazine. Because, like I mentioned before, most of the guns were scrapped and their magazines along with them
Let Hollywood know, I'm sure they will find a movie for it.
Hi Scott. Magnificent specimen of Tiger I.
The gun actually had a magazine
