Mac & Hazel Gilliam and Robert & Marion Meader expanded their families with the births of McLaurin Briggs Gilliam and Carol Jean Meader who met in the early 1960s and joined in a marriage that produced a huge family starting with Kristen and ending with three adopted Gilliam's (Kendra, Clay and Jon). Throughout this long marriage and even before, these families and events were documented through many home videos as early as the 1950s and continue today. Some of the best times as kids were home movie nights where we'd watch these old videos on 8 mm reels of tape. At one point some of these movies were moved to VHS and DVD as technology evolved. We are now in a world of digital with platforms like RUclips that will help preserve this family legacy forever so is born Gilliam Family Films. A RUclips channel where old, new and future Gilliam movies can be centralized for easy viewing by all.

Ended up being a much better surfer than skater, but we had fun and was able to transition to bigger ramps in Asheville, NC the next two years. Thanks for the positive comment. At 51 still surfing and skating :-) as is my younger brother. Older brother here ended up being a white water rafter/MTB.
