Welcome to the United Church of Hyde Park. We are a multi-racial, multi-ethnic, multi-generational, socio-economically diverse, urban congregation. We share a vision to be a church that is faithful, loving, worshiping, welcoming and serving. We have a long history of supporting social justice and giving generously to mission. Our church is a member congregation of three denominations, the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), the United Church of Christ (UCC) and the United Methodist Church (UMC). We are also a member of Chicago Coalition of Welcoming Churches (CCWC), certificated Open and Affirming Coalition (ONA), Reconciling Ministries Networks (RMN), and More Light Presbyterians (MLP).
