I’ve watched this over and over, so many times and when Mother Mary asks Jesus to do something about the wine and Jesus says “ it’s not my time yet “ yet she pleads with him and he gives in and changes the water into wine. I feel so sad 😢, to me, this was the beginning of the end 😢. It set in motion all that was to come, there was no turning back. I find myself wishing that his mother had not asked him to do it. Why do I feel like this? It saddens me 🥹🥹

One day we'll share eternity with Christ's disciples, not just those that became apostles, but the men and the women that followed Jesus wherever He went during His time on Earth. I look so forward to hearing their stories and hearing their words as the fill in the gaps, and speak of the events that never made it into the Gospels or the epistles.

I love that series, too. All the protagonists, including Jesus, look so human, like you and me, with some odds and follies and with all the loving strength of their hearts ... feeling hard and painful ways being before them.
