Scottish trainspotter
Великобритания
Добавлен 5 фев 2018
In this channel you will find videos based on trains, train stations, locations on the railway, train rides, Edinburgh trams, Charters services and on-board rail tours if I'm lucky as I've done two videos before on the LMS Black 5 44871 in 2018 and A1 Tornado 60163 in 2019.
Plus some unexpected surprises that I might do in my future videos.
There was be good amount of videos in Scotland and plus if I'm in England.

Can a through train journey from high level to high level be done without having to go all the way through Rutherglen and other North Lanarkshire stations?
Not really no, that's why I bought myself a day rangers ticket for it. thanks for watching the video.
This is a great video near at this time of year.
they'll be more touring the summer time.
Just watching this. You would have been better getting an adult network day ticket for £12.00 which would have covered you on both the airport bus and the tram
Never thought of that, at least I've learned something for next time. Thanks for watching it, hope you enjoyed this video on Edinburgh trams.
@@scottishtrainspotter7209 I did thanks
Interesting, thanks Small point: I would use a spell checker when ediitng..
Thanks for watching. I always try but the video maker I use, does not have one so I always needing to check for myself, but sometimes I forget
I can't believe it's been 10 years since the Edinburgh Trams started 😲
me too, scary
Did you get board on the bus
I was ok, just enjoying the Scottish sensory.
Lovely flight back to Glasgow.
Thank you.
Great vlog 🙂From Buchanan, which ferry do we have to take? how much does it cost and how much time does it take?
Thank you for the luverly comment, It's Stena Line that goes between Cairnryan and Belfast. It's £40 one way and it's takes 2 hours to get there.
Since when were groups of friends travelling together not allowed to talk or share jokes? I didn't find their noise objectionable, just normal banter.
They were just being noisy. Not keeping it down.
Hi! Thank you for this! How long does it take from Edinburgh to Belfast by 2 buses and ferry? Are they accessible for wheelchair users? I'm going to make the same journey near end of May! :) thank you
Thank you for watching. It's takes like 8 hours, best time at Edinburgh is near 10am, gets into Glasgow just after 12pm next bus would be like 12:40 and you would leave Cairnryan just after 3pm I've seen other wheelchair users on them, so you should be ok. Ok you enjoy it.
Seen it. it's a great film.
Sour is great movie in my option.
Great video, i would get your parents to check just before you post as a few spelling mistakes but not a major issue
Thank you, did learned from that.
quite🏤 0:27
I visited Inverness from Glasgow for the first time last year with my wife and checked out the train prices but worked out i would be cheaper flying to the Canaries so just drove my 4.2 V8 Jag that was still half the price of the train in fuel. BTW the trains empty so why not just move seats?
Hoped you both enjoyed the visit to Inverness last year. I did move seats just after departing from Stirling.
@@scottishtrainspotter7209 I would have moved after five minutes listening to those clowns instead of waiting all the way to Stirling.
@@McGrory69 At least I've learned that.
Do as you would be done by.
I've no idea what you're talking about.🤷♂
So sorry I had to delete your video as the train started to move, I could not listen to the noise generated by the other passengers, with their over inflated importance of hearing their own voices.
they were just unpeaceable to other passengers.
Most railway companies need to step up about the passengers being that noise, sorry to hear about how upset you were about it.
I agree, be great if they learn about that.
luverly indeed
thank you
Indeed
Such a beautiful railway up there.
Worth a trip up there.
Beautiful
Well done, very enjoyable. You captured the character of the journey really well.
Thank you, really appreciate your luverly comment. Definably worth the journey up to Inverness .
Hope you've had a great flight with Easyjet

Your spelling in the on screen comments are terrible.
I'm sorry to hear that.
Personally for me the spelling errors didn't detract from the video as whole for me

Not everyone is blessed with spelling skills. Some people might have learning difficulties/autism/dyslexia. No need to be judgemental
It's beautiful up there
Do love it myself

Do you live in Edinburgh? If not, where ru from?
Near Edinburgh.
I'm planning a special trip in the late fall to the UK. I lost count how many times I've been in England. However, I really want to go through all the other isles like Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland. I think Belfast would be a good start. There's a bus service, including the ferry, that goes from Belfast to Glasgow.
Hope you enjoy your visit, definably a few good places to try out. You can get bus service from Belfast to Glasgow .
Best of luck for 2024 with your travels and new experinces.
Thank you, got some planned out for 2024.
@@scottishtrainspotter7209 👍👍
Belfast will get a train from the city centre to airport before Dublin ever does..look at its new central station on time and under budget with no government unlike our banana Republic transport system 3rd world 😂
I could just image that with the Irish Railways, If I ever see myself trying it out.. I did relies that it's only buses to Dublin airport.
Best of luck for 2024, cool thumnail.
Thank you, you too.
Happy new year.
Happy New Year to you too.
Might be uploaded after Christmas, but it does feel like a driving home for Christmas feeling.
Yes I can see what you mean there, with the Christmas market and on the 11th.
You should definably do something similar to other location, were you can take ither 2 line from start to end and time them.
Might be an Idea for 2024.

Hi big brother 😁😁
Perfect Christmas video there.
Thank you and Merry Christmas 🎅🎅
@@scottishtrainspotter7209 merry Christmas to you too👍❄
Hope you enjoyed your trip to Northern Ireland, Its worth taking the train to Derry, the views are amazing and the newly reopened station is possibly one of my favourites in ireland!
Enjoyed it myself.👍 I did heard that line is very scenery and definably will come back and check out the new train station there in Belfast.
I do den to have that Christmassy feeling, arriving at your destination and seeing a Christmas tree with a train set going around it.
Me too, as a railway fan I do love having kind of Festive spirits when it come to train travel.
Belfast does look great at Christmas.
It's worth a visit to Belfast at this time of year.
Like it
Thank you
Hope you had a great visit in N. Ireland
Thank you, visit will be on Saturday from Belfast.
Fantastic 🙂. It has been since 2022 since I last rode on a Cross Country train but a fantastic video indeed 🙂. Thanks indeed for sharing this excellent video and certainly will I ride on a Cross Country in the future for whenever chance happily allows. Take care and many best wishes and though I have never rode on one of the trains in Scotland before I will one day in the future certainly before 2030 will I go to Scotland but hopefully in 2026 or 2027 if chance allows I will try and get over to Scotland 🙂. Excellent video indeed, take care and many best wishes my good new friend 🙂. From your new friend Foxy a rail enthusiast, bus enthusiast and classic car enthusiast in Brighton, East Sussex, England, UK 🙂🙂🙂🙂.

What coaching stock are they using?
I don't know actually, never thought.
great video, I didn't know that the cross country would stop at the east fife coastline stations. I only know it'll stop Edinburgh, Dundee and Aberdeen
Thank you, They did eventually avoid stations in Fife and between Dundee and Aberdeen touring Covid-19. they must've got back into stopping at them stations again not long ago .
@@scottishtrainspotter7209 I see, as I remembered two years ago first when I was in Scotland, the fife stations were all skipped
MOST ENJOYABLE. THANK YOU
You're welcome was Interesting when I did this in Glasgow last year.
