After 30 yrs of dealing with such a tętniono and your brain working on fight mode you do burned out!!! relationship is detoriating, and all you need is just relax and hoping you won’t get to self medication!! Professional trauma takes a toll!! Same like childhood trauma!! James is such a great combo of psychologist and a lawer!!! Great podcast!!

Leadership is always an interesting topic. It appears to come naturally to some while being a painfully acquired skill set for the rest of us. Dr. Teixeira embodies the reluctant, yet highly effective, leadership archetype. This man loves the trenches. Great interview.

We must learn to find a common ground for peace at all times..... There's no such thing as a perfect marriage or relationship; each one is special. What makes one person happy might not make another person happy. But I've realized that there's always a way to solve problems. Five years ago, my wife and I were almost getting divorced because we had problems in our marriage, but we managed to sort things out. It was a difficult time, but we got through it

I get why what you're saying is so important, and I honestly want to be happy too. I'm in a relationship, and even though we're apart, I can't imagine my life without her; my love for her is strong. I really want her to come back, and I'm fully dedicated to making that happen. We've tried different paths, like therapy, to fix things.

Wow, the main points here hit so close to home. Early in the marriage everything you thought was cute now becomes a liability. Both partners stop becoming understanding and just retreat into themselves because they don’t want more stress and problems to address. We just need soothing to unwind from a long day. Marriage is definitely a balancing act.

See podcast at 44:45 minutes. Really interesting comments from the hosts about how they see much reduced inflammatory reaction with the Celt versus other closure devices/methods. Jim explains that the Celt is made from inert stainless steel whereas the others work by deliberately creating inflammation. The benefits using the Celt are not just, robust closure, reduced PACU costs, early ambulation etc. The next time the Doctor has to access that artery the absence of fibrosis makes it easier.

36:59 when you’re not able to listen to your partner or they can’t listen to you about mundane things or stories that don’t interest you or detailed diatribes, consider that it’s probably because you or they are burned out from their day, tired, hungry, spent, lack bandwidth.. you can’t or shouldn’t blame them or yourself. Don’t take it personally. Timing.

When I take my NP hat off, I will NOT talk about ANY medical things! Don’t ask me for advice, an opinion…… nothing! If there is nothing else to talk about, then please, let’s just not talk! I don’t people after 5 pm on Friday until Monday morning 😂😂😂.
