And of course their equipment nearly always works--laptops don't freeze, communications don't break up at crucial points so all you get is an intelligible word here and there, not caught in long lines at fast food drivethroughs, or having to fight rush hour traffic. Not a chaser myself, just a spotter, but I follow Michigan Storm Chasers and let me tell you it is nothing at all like the way Twisters portrays it. This afternoon one of their guys was out in the field watching a wall cloud not far from where I live--at least I think it was a wall cloud--but it was so hard to tell what he was saying because his sound feed kept going in and out and at one point they lost it entirely. I'm watching this and I'm thinking, this is nothing at all like the movie I saw yesterday!

I was looking around for something burning yesterday and remembered,oh!the fires out west.

I'm not a storm chaser (I'd love to do it though!), but I do love weather and know enough about thunderstorms and tornados to realize when they were bending or ignoring science. The fireworks were cute, but you'd probably never see them IRL, and wow, that old Dodge has the best window glass I've ever seen, haha. But realism aside, I felt it was a fun movie, and very well done consider most "disaster" flicks are just god awful.

Try to spend a minimum of 30 minutes every single day in the garden. Even if it’s only 15 minutes in the morning, and 15 minutes at night. If you do it every day it actually becomes very relaxing and therapeutic. Just being able to watch something grow into what it can be. And if it helps, nobody knows what they’re doing until they’re a few years into it, there are not enough videos in the world. Biggest thing I could tell you is just spend a little time every day, what are you weed for a few minutes or water for a few minutes. And break it down into sections, weed and water one area each day and if the kids wanted the garden, make them help! 😊if you let it get away from you for even a week. It becomes a job. And nobody wants another job!good luck I think it’s awesome

Yes, raised beds- they cut out 95% of the weeds. Also work in the garden early morning or later in the evening. And add flowers for pollination.

Haha! Go with raised beds next year. Drive in some stakes for your tomatoes and a trellis for the cucumbers.

I use to throw my dog tags in my boots when in scorpion country, you could do the same with your car keys. That way you get use to dumping out your boots ( and scorpions) before you put your feet in.

Spray your shoes and boots with antifungal spray and plenty of dry socks.Dry feet are wonderful.😂
