Hi there! Welcome to the Origami & Cat's Cradle channel!
Are you interested in learning how to fold origami or perform magic tricks with Cat's Cradle? Then you're in the right place!
I started this channel to teach origami and Cat's Cradle to my preschool-aged daughter. There are many channels that show how to create elaborate origami designs, but none that focus on teaching kids the basics of origami folding. Cat's Cradle was also my daughter's favorite pastime. I've taught origami to both American and Japanese children and believe it's a wonderful activity for children of all ages.
Origami tutorials here are categorized by age, and Cat's Cradle tutorials are sorted by difficulty: Easy, Medium, and Hard.

Christmas Double Stars (Level: 10 year old+)
Here is another tutorial video for a handmade Christmas ornament!
It may look complicated, but it's actually quite simple. In this video, I used blue and light blue papers, but feel free to experiment with different colors. This is a great origami activity for upper elementary students!
Materials You Need:
* 1 Blue Origami Paper (15cm x 15cm: Color may vary)
* 1 Light Blue Origami Paper (15cm x 15cm: Color may vary)
* Scissors
* Glue Stick
* String (to hang it)
You can even repurpose wrapping paper from Christmas gifts!

I did it, but at the end it looks a bit different than it should, so I have to stretch those strings on my fingers, so those from a thumb and pointing finger won't be too far frim those on a ring finger and a small one. Thank you for the tutorial.❤

I'm sorry to hear that this tutorial didn't work for you. My advice is to try using a different type of string loop. I've found that some types of string work better than others. Regular yarn should work well. I hope you will have success with it! Thank you for your comment! Happy holidays!
I finally got it after 45 minutes of trying!! I realized I was doing the thumbs wrong in one of the first grabs and that was messing it up! So satisfying when you get it right! Thank you!
