The Labour Government and the Hostile Environment: Closing a chapter, or continuing it in spirit?
The new Labour Government announced the termination of the controversial Rwanda Plan as one of its first measures, giving some hope that it might have a better approach to managing migration that is consistent with basic human rights. But it also started the process of getting its Border Security, Asylum and Immigration Bill onto the statute books in double quick time.
The Bill aims to establish a control framework which is aligned with the counter-terrorism powers, already strongly criticised by civil liberty defenders. Whilst the details of the planned legislation are still to be seen, statements by the Home Secretary have made it clear that they will facilitate a more rigorous in-countr...

Au contraire, what you call greece has quite an extensive colonial past, it's just that our own (and by own, I mean mine, and the rest of the co-participants) happened approximately 2500 years ago, and unlike the modern germano centric colonies of the last few hundred years, was mainly expressed as migratory pressure of people of the mainland of greece rather than an accumulatory ambition.

Britain is a white christian country. Politicians have treated white christians as second class citizens for decades. The vast majority of people are anti-imigration (particularly non-european immigration) yet our out-of-touch politicians continue to flood britian with immigrants and refugees without actually asking the public. If you dare say something is not right you are instantly censored and labelled a "racist/nazi/sexist/homophobe/transphobe etc". The Strange Death of Europe - is an amazing book which all should read.

"Subtle and invisible ways". Thank you for the discussion I enjoyed watching. It is really interesting to me. Please don't hate me but I am a 35 year old white male. I believe I have been raised to respect people and judge them only on their character. I was horrified to be told at a Diversity, Equality and Inclusions management course recently that "Everybody in this room suffers from being unconsciously racist and making decisions based on race". I politely disagreed at this point as I truly believe somebodies race has never effected my decision making in any way and to be told I am a racist of any kind is greatly distressing and insulting. Unfortunately post the training course a member of HR raised concerns that "By not accepting he suffers from unconscious racism he is playing down the systematic nature of racism within our society and workplace, therefore not capable of safe guarding and protecting his employees from racist acts". I have never had any HR issues before, it fact I have worked for the company for 10 years, I get on with everybody really well and I have progressed within the company receiving several promotions. I am now a Senior PM and line manger to a team of 12. Obviously to me this is incredible concerning. I am not against any form of awareness training and the wellbeing of my employees is something I feel very passionate about however this matter has now been escalated and I have a disciplinary hearing next week. The questions I wanted to ask is - Do you believe by not accepting I am unconsciously racist plays down the systemic nature of racism within our society? Does my opinion insult you (I really would never mean too)? Also how do we have conversations like this and respect peoples personnel beliefs and opinion? My main concern is that by focusing so strongly on race and coming down so hard on people that don't agree 100% with critical race theory this will have the reverse impact and bring race to the forefront instead of in my mind being of no significance whatsoever. I believe we risk focusing on the 0.1% that makes us different instead of embracing the 99.9% that we have in common. I know we are all very different in terms of character and personality and that is what makes life so great and enjoyable. Anyway thanks again, I don't know why but I feel I have to say, I mean no offence to anyone by this message and apologise if any offence has been taken. It would be really great to get your perspective and I would be very grateful if you could take the time. Best Regards and take care

I'm sorry for the treatment you're receiving. The racism that is referred to relates to structural and institutional racism that exists to ensure minorities stay in the place designated by the powers that be. It only comes to light when one tries to challenge it eg police, courts, social services when the truth of the power that comes to bear on the complainant is exposed. These agencies work in tandem with each other to block complaints. They also use the security services to start harassing and gangstalking those challenging them. This is with the intent of destroying the jndividual over time. So individuals such as yourself would not be aware unless they personally challenged an authority. But the authorities wish to push the blame onto individuals rather than admit to any institutional set up that undermines rights. It is only those who are members of secret clubs such as the freemasons that must take responsibility for privileges. However they are not homogenous as these clubs exist all over the world within governments.

Let just give a brief testimony of myself here. This might be very beneficial to some of you here and it might put an end to your ordeal. Well, i was once an hiv/aid patient. I contacted the deadly virus about 4 years ago, since then, the stigma and shame has not been easy for me to bear. all this while, i have been living on normal drugs to suppress the virus to help me live my normal life not until recently when i met this great doctor online in one of the USA HIV/AIDS care group on facebook. Before then, i never believe i will ever have a cure to my virus. Infact, this great doctor has done what i will never ever forget in my life which i will forever remain grateful. I got some herbal medications from him which i used as he instructed, just about 12 days after then, i went for a test and i was HIV negative. Indeed, The herbal medication cured the virus. Dr cozon also specializes in other diseases like herpes, syphilis, staph, pcos, fibroid and other sexually transmitted disease. I'm sharing this here because i feel it might help some of you. Well, you can contact doctor cozon on whatsapp or call on +13192094060 if you need him
