For anyone struggling to kill a mutator with guns before he turns, try a sledgehammer instead. Emma's Wrath with the hazardous perk would be ideal. First clear the area of any zombies with the Peggy riffle that can one shot almost everything. Once the area has been cleared, approach a mutator while crouched, charge a heavy attack with the sledgehammer and deliver a fatal blow to the head. Go back to main menu and repeat. This is how I did it.

Im trying to get the Voltanic Scream Card to drop like i knpw its rare but I've put down at least 70 and the card hasn't dropped for me

Just managed this by the blue crab in Venice Beach, turning off hot-footed, and using the drop kick. Group loads of zombies together by throwing safely behind the gate a meat bait keep doing that till you have a good bunch,then throw a chem bomb to freeze a bunch hop the fence and I managed to hit more than 4. Very annoying challenge but very doable.

This didn't work for me. I had much better luck at SoLA. They seemed to spawn more consistently around the festival grounds.

I'd say this still works as of 4.18.24 w the release of the SoLA DLC Only problem I'm running into is it gives me every other Slobber alot more than the Putrefied

I had completely forgot that sound stage 3 had Screamers. When I showed up, 2 Voltaic and one regular screamer spawned, as well as a boat load of Zombies, netting me _two_ “electrified brains.” Exactly what I needed to completely kit out my Shark Tooth machete. Cheers!

If your having trouble just make sure the zombies have very low health before you do the kick. You have to kill 3 to get the challenge

I'm guessing if it's immune to damage when I shoot it that means I'm too late right? I've seen them twice but both times there was an obstacle preventing a clear shot at first.

I snuck up on 1 and gave it a heavy hit to the head with an legendary sledgehammer weapon. It drain its life down significantly and I hit it once more and I got the trophy
