IMPROVE YOUR SOCIAL SKILLS BY KNOWING IF SOMEONE IS NOT INTERESTED IN YOU OR A CONVERSATION WITH YOU
This video helps you understand why people might not want to have a conversation with you (if you exhibit the behaviours discussed) and how to recognise when someone is uninterested in having a relationship with you (whether it’s a friendship, romantic, formal, or informal relationship) or engaging in a conversation with you. It also provides insights on how to improve your communication and conversational skills by identifying traits that hinder effective conversations.
Regardless of which of these aspects resonates with you, it’s crucial to understand that improving your communication skills also involves knowing when to stop. You don’t want to be the person who can’t read the room and f...

Channel Introduction | Why you should be part of this family ☺️🙃🧑🧑🧒🧒
Happy New Year, everyone! 🎉 This year, I'm taking on a new challenge. It began when I realised my knowledge was a bit shallow on certain topics. In my previous job, we had daily quizzes on general and specific subjects, and I often struggled, especially with films, sports, and celebrities. Learning about these topics helped improve my confidence and interpersonal skills. Now, I want to keep learning and share them with you. Stay tuned on TikTok!
Where’s the love..
Hmmm 🤔 sadly, I didn’t read of any love connotation to the payment of bride price.
Thank you for watching. I hope you enjoyed the video; what are your takeaways? Please don't forget to read the video description as well.
I had this same thought process some Sundays ago: 'You are not as important as you think.' Thank you." 👌
Interesting our thoughts alligned. There is a point where you know YOU shouldn't get in the way of important things that need to be done. Thank you for your comment 🫶

Hi, I am so sorry to hear you were depressed. I am glad you have gone past that phase. You are right; these psychological changes have effects on us. Please keep getting better. No one is at the peak, and no one will ever be. Thank you for talking to me. 😊😍 I will be expecting your feedback, and I hope to hear from you soon. 💃💃
Hi all, thank you for watching. This video is my diary where I have a tough conversation with myself. I am sharing with you so that you can reflect on how YOU are the reason behind hiding from the rest of the world, not socialising, or expressing yourself as you want to. If you want to share yours, you can use the comment section to be brutally honest with yourself or you could journal. The concept is not to mess with your self esteem but to loosen your inner child and get rid of all negative ego.
Keep going my dear
Awwww this feels good to read. Thank you for your encouragement 💪🫶

That's true thanks for the tip ❤🙏
Thank you for watching and commenting. 🤍Please try to watch the full video as it contains lots of tips.
Thank you miss, I learnt something I will work with in the future. Keep thriving, God bless you
Amen! I am glad you learnt something. Do you mind sharing? Btw, I am your 199th subscriber 😉🫶
This experience has been a rollercoaster of emotions. I remember my New Year's resolution was to be consistent-an area I’ve always struggled with. I often give up in the face of challenges and fail to reflect on the hard work or the promise the future holds. With just a month left in the year, I’m grateful I stood by my resolution despite seeing little to no results at times. Thank you to everyone who has supported this vision and the subscribers for choosing to participate in this journey. I have no idea what the new year holds, but I hope to stay focused on the vision and continue improving. Thank you!
Thank you for watching 🤍. Don't forget to leave a comment
Is this your thought, or is cast in stone in some cultures? I haven't seen it in this light ever
That's just one of the historical reasons behind the practice of paying bride price many years ago. I used the employee-employer analogy purely for illustration. I believe the full video provides a more comprehensive explanation.
😂 distract myself and end up forgetting my speech, panick even further.
No, you wont 😂😂. I have never forgotten my speech. You can find it useful to have bullet points on your note for referencing
How do you be assertive without offending? 🥲
That's a great question. It's important to find a balance between being assertive and being considerate of others' feelings. While people-pleasing often stems from avoiding conflict or offending others, it's equally unhealthy to dismiss others' feelings entirely. Assertiveness doesn’t mean being aggressive or forceful; it’s about expressing your boundaries respectfully and clearly. You can be direct while maintaining a friendly or neutral tone. Sometimes, it may help to explain your perspective, especially if the situation calls for mutual understanding. However, this depends on the person and the boundary being communicated. If you’ve communicated your boundaries thoughtfully and someone still feels offended, it’s important to recognise that their reaction is beyond your control. What matters is that you were respectful, clear, and intentional in your delivery. Ultimately, assertiveness is about prioritising clarity and self-respect without being intentionally hurtful. Did this response help?
I just stumbled upon this. Seems like you have a nice channel with good videos! I wouldn't see any reason to quit unless it's negatively interfering with your life
Hi thank you for your comment. It is definitely not influencing my life negatively 😅. I was harbouring doubtful thoughts if my contents are useful like I assumed. Your comment was uplifting 🤍 I hope to hear more from you 😊

As someone who doesn't necessarily feel they are socially awkward, I find your channel has helped me improve certain aspects of my social skills. So personally, I would say you're impacting even those that do not fall under your target audience.
Thank you for your feedback 🤍. I am glad you find the videos helpful 🥹
I totally agree. I tend to fare well joining conversations that have already started but a bit sceptical about starting one. I think having an initial script helps until you're comfortable with the process of starting conversations.
That's true. Starting a conversation is more difficult than joining a conversation. Having a script like you suggested can be helpful for a starter.

@@troyking4694 Hi, this is the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford. And how old is your spoon? 🤔

Don't need friends when I can be crazy and talk to myself and I to talk to. And occasionally drugs, alcohol to help bring myself and I feelings are known by me so that I can assess, analyze, understand them and come up with ways to solve them by myself
Thank you for your comment! I really appreciate hearing your perspective. I understand why some people might feel they don’t need friends or prefer to keep to themselves. One of the main messages I try to share on this platform is the importance of having meaningful, genuine connections-whether it's a close circle or even just one true friend. We aren’t meant to live in isolation; our lives are filled with others for a reason, reminding us that we need each other. Material things can never replace the value of real human relationships.
Dont believe that
@@chrisvinson9579 Can you elaborate more on what you don't believe? I will be happy to hear your opinion

Thank you sir 👌🥰
Amen.
How can you grow if your environment won't let you thrive? 🥲
This is happening with me and I can’t believe that someone has my situation pegged perfectly 😢 thank you so much!!! ❤
I have had a similar situation before. It ended in burn outs and disappointment. I have learned to distribute my energy based on how the other person treats me (not how I perceive them). It's been sooo liberating that I give attention only to the deserving. It might seem hard at first but you will be glad you put you and those who you matter to first. 🤍

Oh goodness that looks delicious!
Yes it does!. Will you try it out? ☺️☺️
Please add the recipe! It looks so good!
Yes it does. 🤭 I used chicken, sweet potatoes, avocado and pepper (bell pepper, onions and scotch bonnet) I seasoned the chicken to taste (it was well seasoned, not a minimalist seasoning lol), grilled in the oven (150 degrees for about 1 hour 30 mins to cook both sides), then I shredded it. I chopped the potato into big cubes, added salt to taste and grilled till it was soft (don't make it too soft except you like it) I blended the pepper and fried to 95% dryness with little vegetable oil. This was on low heat and took about 40mins. Then I mixed the shredded chicken and chopped potatoes in the fried pepper. Everything is cooked so take the fire out in less than 5 mins. For the avocado sauce, I have attached a shorts to show how it was made. For salad, I used cabbage and carrot. I hope you find this useful. Bon appetite 🤍

I don't allways agree to psycholigist's mainstream. To me there is not only a dark side of manipulation. First i'll define manipulation: Influencing thinking, feeling or behaviour of another person or groupe unknowingly by the manipulated. This makes clear we're talking about a tool. F.e. a knife can be used to make a sandwich or to hurt somebody. This shows we need to vet manipulation deaper. My sugestion: - intension - relationship - morals and ethics The tricky part is all this 3 points are not only conected, they are dancing with each other. The blue elefant in the room of psychology is, it wants so bad to be a science, that it occures it's hidden moral standards. To me a form of dark manipulation by the way. Let's bring it into life: If i manipulate my brother out of suicide. The intension seems to be "good". The relationship is that way i know this person that well to come to the conclusion, the manipulation is justified on the long run. Morally it can be difficult if he is terminal ill and suffers pain. I have a whole other view on manipulators. Good or bad intended, it is a sign of weakness or desperation. Maybe that is why femals tend biologically more to manipulation. Good and bad. There is even an unintended form of manipulation. Women try to manipulate men in the selection process and even in a relationship and hope, without knowing this, that the man can't be manipulated. It's an unconcious test for the main need of a woman. Safety. I really love that in women. Their brain might get angry, but their heart falls deap in love and they become highly sexual. I give that gift to women. This might be a manipulation as well. When a loving girl manipulates me in a trusting relationship into quit smoking, there is nothing wrong with it to me. It will even deapen trust. The western civilization put's the will of an individual in an unreflected moral dogma even against basic needs or even the best interest. Free will is often an illusion. The same system uses manipulatve poltical propaganda without any shame to manipulate people in a very dark agenda. All the best to your nice little channel and you are a cute lady. Bisitos desde Sud América
Thank you so much for taking the time to put this comment together. It feels refreshing reading your perspectives on manipulation. With the definition you provided, I agree that a manipulator can have good intentions behind their actions. I also wonder if there might be a different term for this. It is true that psychology and human behaviour cannot be put into a box; a lot of context goes into it; within that context is where one decides if it is manipulation or not. The intention of making this video was to help people arm themselves against being easy targets for manipulators (”the dark ones” as you said). I hope you stick around for more amazing content to come 🤍🤍
@@navigatingsocialtidesMostly negative manipulation is done verbally. It makes sence to have a closer look at the words: Manipulation - manipulus (latin) = a hand full - manus = hand - plere = to fill up It was used in 18th century in france language and then was adopted to other languages. I remember in France military it was used by instructors to manipulate weapon systems in the right protocole. I remember in german medical school it was used to teach us surgical techniques. It was Freud who framed this innocent word into his cult. He had many inteligent followers. To me Freud is a highly questionable personality and it is easy to understand his agenda, if you take a look at his background. I remenber reading his ideas as a kid i had a uncanny valley feeling and investigated him as a person. It's a lot, but in short his understanding of "manipulation" is a projection. Basically a narcessistic cult. Diagnoses basically are useful for quick communication in the interaction of professionals. Often they are wrong or at least diagnoses change with the number of professionals involved. So here is my suggestion: He was highly tramatized in childhood. It's likely he wanted to make sence of his sexual abuse and normalize it not only for himself. It's likely he was impotent and only able for strange kinky sexpractics. The main argument for his NPD (malignant) diagnose is his infantile projections joint with a grandious and adult communication style. I read him in the original language, that gave it a more direct spin. All of his followers couldn't let his "teachings untouched, but never got to the sick core. Psychoanalyse is proven to be highly ineffective and most insurences refuse to pay years of circles around nothingness. A modern correlation of today's Freud would be Sam Vaknin. My German grandma told me one day: Thies people you go with have a very good *inflence* on you. Influence is the word you was surching for. She cared for me be knowing me and closely observing me having my best interest in mind. An influence also can be good or bad. But it is only a synonyme. My grandma was a wise woman. She had a deap understanding of manipulation. You could only manipulate her if she agreed to. She knew the power of observation. Words used over it's intend to transfer basic informations are just noise. The mindfull observation of actions and consistancy is a better way to stay safe. A deaper understanding of very own tendancies of manipulation (in your understanding) will see and detect manipulation easilty in others. Honesty is a super power. To call out a manipulation, spoils it in the same moment. With good people you can lol about it together. Freud seeded sick problems in our societies without giving a solution. The best solution is not so much protection from our brothers and sisters, but becoming a better person yourself. Just imagine everyone would do that. General distrust isn't the solution. You will overlook the real preditors. Feminism as a form of making emenies of brothers and sisters. Increasing numbers and even legal jusification of sexual child abuse. Genderdistopic as a serious personality disturbance, even supported by psychology who should ethically help, are all outcomes of Freud's cult. We all know who to trust and who not to, just like me as a boy reading Freud. Trusting your gut is the best protector. Equality is another sneaky illusion of this cult. We are not equal. Some weaker individuals have to be protected. But if they didn't learn who to trust, it's impossible to protect them.
@@vivainvestparaguayvivainve2321 I appreciate how you took me back on the history of “manipulation” as far back as the 18th century. The mention of Freud also reminded me of my Sociological classes. It is interesting how the original meaning of words change over time. Not surprised, it is expected in a self-expressive and dynamic world. Your grandma is right. Association brings influence. “Words used over its intend to transfer basic information are just noise” 🔥🔥. Now, we can discern between noise and words and never allow noise hurt anymore. I also crave for a world where everyone has good intentions. Although, I wonder if this can become a reality. In the absence of that, it is good to have a balance. Let people keep learning how to become a good person and also learn how to protect themselves from the other side. Once again, thank you for your contribution. I see it is a concept you are knowledgeable/passionate about.
