When Spirit lined up their PK kickers for the PK's, the order was Ash, Lena, Tara, Trin, & 'Butel.' ...Butel? ...With Aubrey lined up as the 6th kicker if it;s tied & keeps going after 5 PK's. Jona 'did' sub Butel in for Morgan at the beginning of the 2nd OT, anticipating a PK scenario, & maybe Butel has proven herself on PK's in their practices. ...Unless, Butel is the decoy & Aubrey was really the 5th to kick if it got to that point.

I think Stephanie White saw the potential of The Fever and wanted this opportunity as much as Indiana wanted her. This is going to be good. They need to move on a couple of players and bring in at least one tall forward who can make an impact. This team is going places. This could rival the Jordan's Bulls or Kobe's Lakers winning era. Thompson was the best player on the pitch in the first match. All 90 minutes. She played well in 45 minutes in the second match.

I hope the new coach can convince the players, both those on the Fever roster and free agents that every Fever player must be able to run. RUN, not just lope, hop, skip or jump. By rotating all 12 players , the Fever can overwhelm any opponent. Outlast them, Make them so tired that during the fourth quarter they can not reliably function.

Sides is a very good coach. The haters seem to forget the start they had, the difficulties in polishing a group and getting them familiar with themselves and the program. She'll land on her feet and hopefully Stephanie White will go elsewhere than Indiana and take her FA's from Conn. with her

White was the most promising among all the candidates that Fever had. The fact that she wants out of a franchise that continues to be the best is an ominous sign. Kelly needs to pull the trigger now so that they can get on the same page which FA the Fever goes after. Preferably before the expansion draft. I want Nneka and Sabbaly.

Sides was way over her head with the management aspects. She couldn't decide on players role, rotation, play calling, let CC have free reign, this cause friction with Nalyssa due to her GF. So many players being wasted such as Berger, Wallace, even Celeste Taylor that they drafted. Even in first 10 games Sides knew was gonna be tough, she had no plans. Just look at GSW where they play all 15 of their roster to get everybody to gel together. They even started Wiggins at SG so Buddy Heild didn't put too much pressure on himself. Sides continue to leave cryptic messages when it was she that didn't do anything.

Another thing, until they get rid of the commissioner and the refs they are not going anywhere.

Hire Kathie Layden. Best coach in Indiana. The Fever need a teacher/developer to get the team on track. Layden has won 5 IHSAA state titles with one 3-peat and a back2back at a different school with a chance at another 3peat. Kathie won her first title at age 26 and had a 3-peat by 28. Had 4 D1 players from a public school with only 600 students. One made the All Big 10 freshman team and another led the Big 10 in rebounding. In 2020 only 2 Big 10 freshmen were invited to tryout for US U-19 team, one was Caitlin Clark and the other, her daughter Madison. Kathie was also nominated for national coach of the year in 2019. Her teams play an Iowa style game. They move the ball and keep their heads up with minimal dribble. If you play for her you better get your track shoes on.

White's leadership with the Sun resulted in appalling conduct by her players. Let's be real about how she will fit any teams' future.
